You could try removing d3d9.dll from the Gta SA LC folder smile.gif

I'm getting no error reports or anything i click on it and the game doesnt even load or anything i uninstall it and the game works and loads but this mod i get nothing that pops up my windows 7 changes to the default mode but it goes back to my settings.

This has got to be one of my favorite mods... Mainly due to the vast potential the mod has due to using the San Andreas Engine.

I decided to do a bit of Modding and texture replacing here and there to try to breath life into Liberty city due to the fact the peds/weps/etc weren't doing the city justice...


Note that these pictures are a few days old and that I have added in alot more things (vehicles/Peds/Textures) into this and was thinking about browsing the SCM to do some actual modding there...

I wanted to do something a little realistic with the Diablos so I gave em a few models from Joey Cortez and Big Turk...

I have noticed that there are some animation problems with this that would cause certain ped's faces to deflate inward and such (kinda like what happened to me a few years back when I tried to replace a cutscene model with a model that has not been rigged properly) and a minor crash at the stadium when you go towards the fence to collect the hidden package

but overall, Good Job ^_^

Isn't it possible to place, move and rotate bodies parts in cutscenes just like III does? I guess it would look more natural then.

"just" is a bad word here, really. It's not as easy as you might think.

Again, GTA: LC cutscenes should work pretty much directly.

I mean to describe them as props (like pistols, suitcases etc.) and give each one of them coordinates and angles from original III cutscenes animations files.

is this mod still alive?
I'd like to see the finial version of mod before I die! (I mean FINIAL, NOT BETA)
also, last beta was released around current season,(octobor or november whatever) so, no realease this year??
I'm eager to know!

I myself haven't worked on the mod since May since I've been spending my time preparing for my final high school exams (which actually finish this Friday!).

That said, even when I do get the time there is very little more I can do for the mod's next release. The only thing this mod needs left for me to be satisfied with announcing a final version is missions, which is beyond my expertise. Scripters have come and gone, but really I'm having my doubts that they'll ever get done. confused.gif

I wish I had the time to help you out. But hopefully the work I've done (as well as many others) with the LC mod can be used to make conversions to the SA engine a lot easier. Especially since the coordinates used are the same in both mods.

hmmm, I am curious to know if you could probably "borrow" a mission or few from GTASA's main.scm...

not anything substantial, but something to maybe satisfy the fans of this mod until you can find a decent coder?

maybe a mission like "beat the cock" or some little odd job like that...

or there is the choice of "mission scripts" for DYOM..

I just really don't want a good mod with alot of potential to die out...

maybe you guys should do something to draw interest into this mod... make a "help wanted" topic, or advertise in various mod showrooms... you just gotta take the initiative... Hell, I might even try helping in what little ways I can.

1.almost every SA mods are availible in SALC. even cleo mods.
2.clothesing stores are not yet completed...it's still working.

sorry for the double post but I felt like the topic was in necro mode...

anyway I was thinking that instead of doing a full on GTA III remake, why not try to incorperate stuff from GTA LCS, and GTA Advanced aswell along with some original ideas?

Like the school in Bedford point and maybe the old school hall being retextured as an actual school? (RPers would Rejoice at the Idea in SA-MP/MTA) and maybe a custom stadium interior (football or basketball, maybe even hockey) user posted image and a few businesses from LCS included (like the biker shop over in staunten Island by the fire station)
maybe some LCS peds could be seen, as well as having some LCS radio Stations along with GTA III ones (I could Provide em tounge.gif )and LCS cars mixed in with the III ones... also interriors from GTA SA/VC/LCS would also work... especially to add variety and whatnot..

also certain zones to be supplied to certain areas (mainly for Pedgrp.dat and such)

(LV) Popcycle groups = Portland

Casual Poor = Red Light District/Hepburn Heights
Casual Average = Portland View/Chinatown
Casual Rich = Saint Mark's
Business = Harwood
Workers = Trenton/Portland Harbor/Atlantic Quays
Beach Folk = Portland Beach
Park Folk = Park near Bridge & Chinatown


(SF) Popcycle groups = Staunten Island

Casual Poor = Fort Staunton/Rockford
Casual Average = Bedford Point/Aspatria
Casual Rich = Belleville Park/Newport
Business = Torrington
Workers = Newport
Desert Folk = Liberty City Campus (To Simulate College Life, peds could be changed)

If I don't reply to anyones bug reports, don't fret. I am taking all these down in a notepad document and when I get free time I will go around to each and fix what I can.

Another bug :
1. When i play this SA:LC mod for 3 days it did freeze then it did not revive, it was a crash. Could it be because i had a CLEO4 mod that is for police cars?????
2. When i had version 7 of this i downgraded it to version 6 and it had the normal animations from BETA 7 but every thing else was from BETA 6.

I found this neat clothing mod, apparently it was gta 3's original prison jumpsuit. Anyways, I tested it out, with a Cleo mod allowing me to change clothes anywhere, and it looks normal on Claude. Mabey you could use this to start out in when you create a new game? Don't worry about having to re-color the skin, its all done. If any of you guys want to use this mod, go ahead-

I recommend that you add that mod that lets you change anywhere, just like a wardrobe. The only crash I get is when I try on the white tank top. Either way, I'll fix that file tomorrow, but it would be greatly apreaciated if someone could give me the name of the white tank top from binco (the name given to the clothing inside player.img).


Hey, is this mod still in progress, or is it just up to us now dingleman?

Man!the objective of this mod is bring all of GTA III Ambience and other things! to San Andreas not new graphics!for that use mods to get IV on San Andreas!!
