Note that none of these bugs are new.. if anything there are a lot less than in beta 5

5MB for a part is bad idea... well until you are not using 4shared Desktop 3.2.2 for the downloading. You could do it with bigger parts like 50MB.

yes,it was a bad idea.but someone else do it to parts of 50 MB because I have no time.but anyway I will keep this mirror if someone needs it
EDIT:this mirror is not available, because my connection to the internet went down, and the files couldn't upload, and I have no time.so someone can upload 50 MB parts

Worked on the mod today. I'm mainly fixing these bugs in order to put together a patch for the beta (Beta 6.1). This will be the final release for this beta, so I will spend a couple of weeks to make sure I get everything right. It will only consist of bug fixes (mostly the ones reported) outsite the .img files, so the file shouldn't be very big at all.

So far I have added a few new vehicle spawns at the airport that replace the unflyable aircraft and stablised the game further by removing most of the camera cull zones (entering these zones on a bike crashes the game). This also removes some camera bugs when driving, including when the camera moves up closer to the car when it shouldn't.

Even the first two are not exactly 50MB but that's another topic.
I've noticed the bugs too. The mod still has many things to be improved. And I don't like tha Claude model. It would be best if you ask OnePiece for his HQ model and textures.

@ stef_92: What exactly is wrong with Claude?

@ zmudziak32: When XRK started this mod he used steve-m's map cleaner that wiped every map element from the game, including the interiors. All the ones that are currently ingame have been placed there again hand by hand. And besides.. clothing shops are in anyway!

There's nothing wrong but the model is bad: low-poly

It's no lower than it was in GTA III, so that is good enough for me. This mod is about converting LC, not making everything look better.

I sometimes wonder if people play GTA to have a good time with its extensive gameplay, or to sit back and look at pretty models. I for one don't care how it looks, but how it plays, and what memories it brings back after years.

You could at least make some things a little bit better. The gta 3 cars, for example. Just a suggestion.

BTW, the mod's getting better and better! Been tracking this mod for years now, alongside GTA: United. alien.gif biggrin.gif alien.gif

The cars will be upped to a San Andreas standard, but nothing more than that. Everything being HD is not what this mod needs at all, but rather a sense of freedom GTAIII lacked, with GTAIII's ambience.

So monitor57 will make GTA III cars with SA dirt, interiors, lights, etc?

The only problem is that he still looks like CJ. That's about the only major letdown of this mod. Also, it would be cool if we could play with Onepiece's HD Claude when it's released. GTA III didn't have customizable clothes so I'd much rather play with that.

that is right, and it's the reason I like this mod, because as everybody knows GTA 3 is my most favourite game(not only from GTA series but from all games) ever.and I'll always love it,no matter how old it is than other games

even the lowest net will download it in not more than 1 hour, i downloaded it in 8 minutes xD

I gotta disagree with this one.
Dial up would download it in like 4 or so hours. I know it because I just started using fast internet some months ago.

Now I begin to wonder if the SA:LC mod actually popular, or not many webs.com sites were made this week. Either way, thanks to everyone for supporting us.
