[TUT]How to make player/actor spawn with parachute

Here's the solution:
When you're choosing the weap for your player or actor, you can't choose the parachute, but do it like this:
Spawn Pickup/Weapon/Parachute, then, delete the pickup, create the Player/Actor, and in the weapon selection, the parachute will be the first weapon you see, but if you change the weapon, you'll need to repeat the process, ho well, is this.

EDIT: Ok, correction, it doens't work very well, the player open the parachute but the game crashes (with me), but I have lot of crashs with my DYOM.
Try it by your own.

Make an object in the Air. Get the player to teleport on that and add a parachute spawn objective there.
Then get the game to hide the object after the parachute has been picked up.
I have never tried this. But It might work.

Just do not spawn the player with the parachute, spawn the player with any weapon (better spawn without any weapon), and put a pickup/parachute exactly where the player spawn, and select "Spawn multiple times", so, when the player spawn, he will pick the parachute.
|It don't work fine when you teleport to the air, sometimes the parachute doesn't load...|
If the player spawns in the air, I don't know if it works, in that case, try what Chimpso said, but I don't know if the player spawns in the air, the parachute will be able to open.
In Fallen Angels, the first mission, when the plataform desapears, you have the parachute, and sometimes it doesn't open, maybe it is a bug of the game, well just try it.
