I picked up the first season of Arrested Development. Heard good things about it so I'm looking forward to giving it a watch.

Strike Back is easily the best action TV show of all time. I'm not being a hyperbolic millennial, I honestly believe it's the greatest action TV show ever.

Man i been watching Six, they might beat it as being the best military action show.

That whole show has a certain aesthetic. Almost like it's a world out of time. They have cell phones, but all the cars are 30+ years old, and the way people dress is very retro.

It's all stylistic decisions.

It feels like a modern adaption of Batman and Godfather into one. Always missed that part. If there's a certain aesthetic, it's not even a clear-cut one. Rants aside, the show has a decent plot. Penguin's character development was great at the same time.

I read this thread and object to "twitch" being referred to as "TV". It's not.

I consider it TV as much as I consider YouTube or anything like that to be TV. Media is changing, some people find weird things entertaining.

Jessica Jones is a great show. David Tennant is fantastic. The story is dark and moody. It's a modern day noire with superpowers. You owe it to yourself to give it more than one episode.

This 100%

I struggled with the first episode but it kept my interest. I'm typically not a fan of these Marvel shows but this I enjoyed.

Was going through some Iron Fist reviews earlier. The reviews are mostly mixed ones. I was expecting everything to be positive.

It's okay. The bottom rung of the Netflix Marvel shows, though.

I read this thread and object to "twitch" being referred to as "TV". It's not.

I guess I wouldn't consider YouTube TV either.

I'm starting to think of YouTube as TV now. I log in, I watch my subs, weekly content. It's just not traditional TV. It's amazing because before when there were heads of programming deciding for us, what was worthy of being broadcast or not, YouTube cut out the middleman and now content is user-generated for the people. Successful shows are stay successful by viewership and ad-clicks. It's amazing really. I watch on my phone then when I'm back at my Xbox it picks up where I left off.

Actually, I would argue that YouTube is more TV now than TV is. It's certainly more relevant, than TV. I haven't really watched my own TV since around 2004. I miss some trendy things like Big Brother but I follow gaming channels and commentary videos, politics, humour and podcasts. It's really tailored to my personal preferences. TV still requires me to be at time and place and if I miss it, it's got to be recorded on a timer thingy, lol. It's actually mad backwards compared to YouTube or even Netflix.

Also you can see the production value shoot up on many channels over the years which is nice to see. I think a TV show that gains more organic popularity says something about it than any other traditional TV show in a way.

My guess is there's probably more internet devices like iPads and Phones now that support YouTube than there are TV's in the world.

Bare in mind the old TV giants still have their audience bringing shows. Not saying the content is crap although "half" of it is. DarthYENIK said it, media is changing and the TV will die out in 20 years. Well, TV as we know it. I just hope things like BBC or HBO don't dissappear
