DISCLAIMER: There may not be any Missions posted yet or a Storyline, but I assure you, it's in production.

Build a criminal empire in the forests, plains, and coasts of the Redneck Riviera.

CONCEPT

Grand Theft Auto: Stuartia is set in the fictional State of Stuartia, which draws inspiration from Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina and parodies those states. The capital city and many hub is Atlantis, a parody of Atlanta. Other cities are "Berningham" and the Columbia-parody, Vespucci.

A huge map is available, with five counties based on regions of the Deep South.

You play as the white male Dwaine Ray, a man from the State of Missianna who fled after his gang went down. Rebuilding your life in Atlantis, you must also build your new gang.

GTA: Stuartia has the RPG-type system of GTA: San Andreas, with players having Stamina, Muscle, and a large list of other statistics. However, staple improvements made in GTA: IV, like television, Internet, and cover, are added as well. There are new statistics, and you can shop in a wide variety of corporate stores.

INVENTORY SYSTEM
There is now an Inventory system. In general, imagine there as being four "types" of "inventories": a Safe House, a Vehicle, a Carrier, a Mover, and Yourself.

Rather than having weapons slots or such, you have the ability to take out a certain "item", including weaponry. You can carry small objects in one hand, large objects with both arms. This is not ideal, so it is good to buy a belt with a holster and sheath to carry weaponry in, and you can strap things to your back (namely weapons). Bandoliers can increase your ammo carrying capacity, a la Red Dead Redemption.

A Mover can be a backpack, a cart, a satchel, etc. These are worn or carried, and greatly increase your carrying capacity. If you need something, you can open up your Mover and take something out.

Vehicles can have things stored in the backseat or trunk, if a trunk is available.

Safe Houses can hold as much as you can fit in them.

The way this works is "Capacity" and "Volume". Capacity is how much Volume the particular thing can carry.

Backpack: 20 Capacity
Satchel: 10 Capacity
Briefcase: 5 Capacity
Suitcase: 10 Capacity
Trunk of an Average Car: 40 Capacity

ROBBERY-TYPE CRIME
Any GTA game worth it's salt would have the ability to rob stores, yet few do. In GTA: Stuartia, there are different "types."

Person (shake down or pickpocket a person)
Home (burglary)
Store (robbery)
Hostages (ransom)
Vehicle (hijacking or raids)
Bank (the most daring raid of all)

PERSON
There are two options: Shake Downs and Pickpocketing. Shake Downs have you taking all of the money on a person (or what they claim to be all). It takes longer and is riskier. Pickpocketing has you trying to nab some money from them and run away; there is usually less profit, but it is safer.

With a Pickpocket. Walk up to the person while they aren't turned in your direction. Target them with your hand, and press and hold triangle. After a short wait, you have three options. Take a purse/suitcase/etc. if it is on them by pressing Triangle, reach inside a pocket by pressing Square, or take anything they are hold by pressing Circle.

Pickpocketing grants you a Wanted Level. If you flee quickly and without any police around, you won't get a star.

Shake Downs are done by aiming at a person with a weapon. You are then given a yes or no question on whether or not to order them to empty their pockets. Different people react differently: usually, the person will empty their pockets and run. Sometimes, they will attack you. Other times, they will refuse. In this case, a "Willingness" bar will appear on screen. You can either beat them to reach 100% on the Willingness bar, you can kill them, or give up.

Shake Downs give you 2 Wanted Levels if you are seen. It is preferable to wear a bandana; that way, you can take your sweet time.

STORE
Any store can be robbed, though the owners might fight back.

First, walk into your target. Pull a gun on your target and hold down Triangle for two seconds to give the order to hand over the money. Most of the time, the cashier will immediately surrender their money. You can also rob the people inside the store and steal items this way.

There are two ways to screw up, caused by people trying to be heroes. In one case, a person (usually an armed person) attacks you. In the other case, somebody calls the police. If the police are called, a large circle appears around the store's "general area", and you have to escape within the time limit or face a two star Wanted Level.

Surveillance cameras are installed in some buildings. These will cause you a two-star Wanted Level anyways. You can take out the cameras if you want to avoid this.

HOUSES
You can rob a house at any time, but burglary is best done during the night.

You initiate this by going to "Odd Jobs" and selecting "Burglary" while inside a Black Boxville. You can then enter most all houses, and peruse them.

The actual burglary is much like the Burglary R3 mission from GTA: San Andreas. Your best bet is to rob a house during work/school hours and sleep hours.

Items can either be sold at the Lockup, or they can be kept for your own use, like consoles, TVs, and furniture. The price of items is the store price of them.

Being spotted and not escaping fast enough results in a two-star Wanted Level.

VEHICULAR
You now have the ability to steal cars and then sell them at a Scrap Yard or a C.A.R. Center. This isn't a "special" mission, it's just the same as stealing a car in any other GTA and then driving to the right place. You can raid money-rich vehicles, though.

THE ARMORED CAR
Armored Cars have TONS of money on them, but are very daring raids. If you can find one, the goal is to either steal the car or break into it by any means necessary and steal the cash. Escorts, guards, etc. make this very difficult. If you succeed with witnesses around, you get a five-star Wanted Level as SWAT searches for you.

THE TRAIN HEIST
This is an old-fashioned heist on a train. Basically, it's just "get on a train, loot it" type idea. The consequence of success is a four-star Wanted Level.

SHIPS
This takes lots of talent, but a Somalian Pirate-style raid on a cargo ship (there are very large ships in GTA: Stuartia) can be highly profitable. A four-star Wanted Level is usually granted.

HOSTAGES
You know have the ability to Take a Hostage when necessary. To do this you need to walk up behind somebody with a weapon, target them, and press X and Circle as the same time. You repeat this to release your Hostage. If doing this to avoid law enforcement, at four stars on your Wanted Level you will encounter a police negotiator.

Police will usually not shoot at you if you have a Hostage, and this can be used as an emergency defense. You can also take hostages for other reasons, though. For example, you can hijack a car, but keep a passenger inside and lock the doors. You can also take a person Hostage and press X + Square, "releasing them" from your grip but forcing them to come with you.

Safe Houses are possible receptacles for your Hostages. They have Hunger, Thirst, and Health (they will sleep automatically), requiring you to feed and water them from time to time.

What's the purpose? You might want a Hostage for slave labor, but generally you'd take one for a Ransom. Your cell phone has a hostage section, and you can select any one of your current hostages. After you select one, you can choose a ransom demand. Send it, and wait.

If successful, the ransom will come to you. On the other hand, the police might get involved.

BANKS
"Banks" refers to banks, betting shops, and casinos. These are the most daring raids you can do, and offer the most pay. They're essentially just Store robberies, but there are many security measures, and often requiring blowing open safes and such. These heists result in five-star Wanted Levels, either immediately if things go wrong or after thirty seconds of leaving the bank.

WEAPWNZ!
Weapons System
Weapons and Ammunition are now separate objects. In addition, you have a limit to how many weapons you can carry and how much ammo; usually, you can strap a rifle or heavy gun to your back, holster a pistol, sheathe a melee weapon, and carry a few explosives as a "typical" set with a couple hundred rounds of ammo.

Don't despair, though: the new Inventory system allows you to buy backpacks, satchels, or briefcases to store things in, or pack your crap away in a car trunk/vehicle/cart/house, etc.

Weapons function roughly the same as in San Andreas. You have an optional lock-on targeting, and if you don't use it the crosshair will light up red when over a living creature. This counts as "targeting", just not lock-on. Weapons can be customized; we're not talking about extended magazines and such, just changing colors, adding patterns, silencers, scopes (increased accuracy), and laser sights. The various forms of Rifles cannot be modified with those "Add-Ons"; the Sniper Rifle comes loaded with all of them.

Add-Ons

Melee, Traditional
Hunting Knife
- Your first knife. Useful in a combat situation, but it's more of a "beginner's" weapons.
Combat Knife
- An improvement upon the Hunting Knife, though you can't use it for Hunting.
Cutlass
- In my opinion, these are the most perfect Occidental swords ever made, and in the game they have a distinct advantage: good for slashing and parrying. The ideal melee weapon, but it will attract attention.
Civil War Cutlass
- An antique cutlass. There's not much of a difference, but a Civil War Cutlass might be MORE common than a normal Cutlass, given the number of old Confederate and Union swords in the South. You may have to "repair" it, though, before it can be used as a weapon.
Short Sword
- A short stabbing sword. Not as maneuverable or elegant as a Cutlass.
Long Sword
- The Short Sword's big brother. If you happen to get your hand on one, the Long Sword has a long reach and devastating striking power, but when you are up next to the enemy, you will wish you had bought a Hunting Knife instead.
Katana
- The Katana is the best real-world sword all around, and proudly boasts that status in the game. Very long, very sharp, very maneuverable, very deadly.
Trench Spike
- If you can't get your hands on a Cutlass or Katana, these relics of World War I will make a perfect substitute.
Machete
- The perfect member of the Knife category, it slashes through fauna AND flora. Similar to a small cutlass, it is easily available if you are willing to spend the money on it.

Ranged, Non-Firearm
Crossbow
- A rare and undesirable substitute for a firearm that uses Bolts. Slow to load, but quick to aim.
Longbow
- More or less the same as a Crossbow, except that it is quick to load and slow to aim.
Potato Cannon
- Rare and convoluted toys turned fake-rocket launchers. In all likelihood, early on you will not have access to the RPG. Therefore, this makes a substitute. You can load anything "suitable" into it, whether it's a small object, a bowling ball, or explosive, this "weapon" is more of a "tool". The "ammo" is compressed air. The most devastating result is win you place a grenade or molotov in it, using it to extend your range or accuracy.
Fireworks
- At Bombs'n'Shots you can buy fireworks for your own amusement or using as a low-grade "weapon". These one-time weapons can be set up to barrage the enemy. The smaller stuff isn't effective for a kill but can make quite a nice distraction, while the larger stuff can really hurt somebody.

STORES

A BRIEF OVERVIEW
There are many different stores. There are two ways to organize them: Groups and Corporations, the Corporations being the "brand name". I will be updating this list, and have a separate place where I am keeping information on my project, but here is one list. All fast-food restaurants and clothing stores from GTA: San Andreas are kept.

FAST-FOOD RESTAURANTS
Burger Shot: Burgers and fries.
Pizza Stack: Pizza.
Cluckin' Bell: Chicken.
Captain Ahab's: Seafood.
Milk King: Ice cream treats.
Taco Palace: An American rip-off of Mexican food.

RESTAURANTS

CLOTHING STORES
ProLaps: High-end sports apparel.
Costumes-R-Us: Costumes sold here. Can be used to trick people, if need be.
New Army: Sells middle-class apparel.
Discount Station: A store selling low-class apparel.
Fadulous: A play on words of "fad" and "fabulous", this place sells clothes as ridiculous as it sounds. Upper-class apparel.
Dishman Enterprises: A store equal to Fadulous. Unlike that store, though, this place sells clothes like tuxedos and "proper" dresses. Not that you'd wear a dress, right?
Lachronel: A store belonging to the famous Chloe Lachronel. This is the GTA: Stuartia version of GTA: SA's "Didier Sachs".

THE MANLIEST STORE OF ALL
This is a unique store, like Fresh Co., Seats, or Joe's. The name is "Frontier Gear", and sells hunting and camping equipment. The stuff here is all high-end, and can be useful if you plan on being in the wilderness.

GROCERY STORES
Fresh Co.: A store to buy fresh food (you eat at your Safe House's kitchen, and can cook it).

WEAPONS STORES
Ammu-Nation: Weaponry and ammunition.
Bombs'n'Shots: Explosives and fireworks.
ParaMilitary: The best weapons, equipment, and vehicles of all. You can actually have a weapon mounted on a vehicle.

CAR DEALERSHIP
C.A.R. (Chinese Auto Retail) Center: The main, though not only, car dealership. C.A.R. stands for Chinese Auto Retail, referring to the process of China buying cars from Japan and then selling them to rednecks. C.A.R. also has a gas station and auto repair shop, though it isn't a replacement for TransFender.

GAS STATION
EP (Euro Petroleum)
24-7
Sunlight Gas

GIFT STORES
Givinghands: I don't much like the names, but I couldn't come up with a good parody of "Walgreens". This place is effectively that: a parody of Walgreens.
Romance Co.: A store that caters to men who need to impress their girlfriends.

AUTO SHOP
TransFender: Everything for cars in general.
Loco Low Co.: Specializes in lowriders.

CLINIC

DRUG STORE
Home Hospital: A company selling medicines, prescription or otherwise. You can use medicine to increase your Health (food no longer does that).

PET STORE
Pets'n'More Pet Store: A pet shop selling pets, pet food, and pet accessories.

WAL-MART PARODY
GrandeMart: A store selling a little of everything for cheap. However, all their stuff is crap (like in the real world).

ELECTRONICS STORE
ElectroGear: A store selling all electronics. TVs, Radios, Computers, etc.

VIDEO GAME STORE
GameStation: A store selling electronics, specifically Video Games. These games are a bit more complex than the ones in GTA: SA, like Mario parodies and other games. You can buy a Console here and games for Consoles (the possible Consoles are a Computer and two different game players, parodying the PlayStation and the XBox).

FURNITURE STORE
Seats: A parody of Sears. Seats sells all manner of furniture. After making a purchase you have the option of paying 30$ for it to be automatically place in your house, saving you moving troubles.

HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE
Joe's Tools: It may sound like a neighborhood store, but this is indeed a corporation. Joe's is a parody of Lowes, and sells tools and "stuff" to build property. This "stuff" and tools can be used as weapons, but is primarily used for a minigame-type thing: Construction! You can work for Construction companies or build your own buildings, but once a structure is constructed it is there permanently. Some buildings can be destroyed, including the ones you create.

CASINO
Since Casinos are mostly illegal, they are generally underground (and therefore not under a brand name) or are rare. All Native reservations (each County has at least one) have a Casino.

ARCADE
UltraLazerz: A parody of any arcade. UltraLazerz offers games like pinball, pool, and air hockey, Go Carts, laser tag, and arcade games.

UltraLazerz uses it's own currency, like most arcades: you can pay money to get Tokens, which are spendable on anything. If you win at arcade games, you can get Tickets, which in turn are redeemable for prizes. Laser Tag competitions are held regularly, and these shoot-out minigames pay money to the first place winner.

BAR

CLUB

BOOK STORE
Book Attic: A store selling books. Books can be read for entertainment or information. It may sound stupid, but it can be helpful to have a stack of nonfiction books in your Safe House and you have a "Reading Skill" statistic.

STATISTICS

The only statistic that appears on the main screen is your Health. Other than that, you can cycle through different menus of statistics. The groups are Body, Physical Capabilities, Skills, Knowledge, and Human Dealings. Some statistics, marked with an asterisk, represent whatever task/weapon/vehicle type you are using/doing at that moment, and will specify that.

THE BODY GROUP
Health: When this hits zero, you are Wasted and must go to the Hospital, losing what money you haven't saved (in the bank or at Safe Houses) and all weapons. It can be increased with visits to the Hospital, a Clinic, or by using medicines.

Disease/Injury: You will occasionally catch a Disease or get an Injury. These affect your Health and your "Physical Capabilities" statistics. These are treated with either visits to the Hospital, Clinic, or by using medicine (though they can be allowed to run their course) and are mostly annoyances.

Sleep: Sleep is how close you are to needing sleep. If the bar reaches 100% you will begin to lose Health. You can stave off this by sleeping; you can sleep anywhere, preferably in your bedroom or in a motel, for any number of hours you specify (no more than 12). This will decrease your Sleep. If you are very tired you will have trouble moving around, and there is a chance you might fall asleep automatically.

Hunger: Hunger will slowly increase. At 100% you begin to lose Fat, then Muscle, and finally Health. As time goes on, you will become woozy and, if you lose all Fat, may pass out. To decrease Hunger, eat food. The best advice is to just eat regularly, like you would in real life.

Thirst: Same as Hunger, but with drinks instead. Thirst is not affected by Fat/Muscle. You can drink any liquid you find, though it is preferable to drink filtered water or drinks.

Energy: Related to Stamina. Energy is consumed when running, climbing, or doing other athletic feats. It slowly regenerates, though it can also be given through certain products. Stamina increases the amount of MAXIMUM Energy you have.

THE PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES GROUP
Muscle, Upper: How "strong" you are.

Muscle, Lower: How fast you can run, and how strong your legs are.

Stamina: Related to Energy. Stamina determines the maximum amount of Energy you have.

Fat: Fat slows you down (negates the effect of Muscle, Lower). You don't want to be too fat, though it is useful to have a little if you don't like eating often.

Lung Capacity: How long you can stay underwater without having to breathe air.

THE SKILLS GROUP
Weapon Skills
Vehicle Skills
Task Skills

THE HUMAN DEALINGS GROUP
Respect: How much your friends and others respect you.

Notoriety: The amount of fame you have gained amongst innocents, the police, and other gangs. It can be Positive or Negative.

Sex Appeal: Same as GTA: SA.

Charisma: How charismatic you are. Useful in getting what you want; if you have high Charisma, high Respect, and high Positive Notoriety, people will find it hard to say no to you.

THE KNOWLEDGE GROUP
The Knowledge Group is extra stuff that you might find useful at some point, but generally has little to do with your daily activities.

LOCATIONS

There are five Counties and three Cities. Counties have Towns in them, along with other Locations. Cities have Neighborhoods and Regions. Cities and Counties are written large, in blue. Town names are bolded. Neighborhoods appear in "Lists", as do Locations.

TENASI COUNTY
Pisa
A small city in the east of Tenasi, south of the Tenasi River. Pisa is a bustling port, centered around Leaning Tower, an old fortress that used to protect it and is now owned by corrupt corporations.
Hunter
Hunter is a town in the west of Tenasi, built along both sides of the river and connected by Hunter Bridge. Started as a trading post for the locals hunters, it grew into a large, bustling town before quickly petering out in the 1840s. It was revived, and now houses a small population of "locals" and "foreigners", the latter being people who chose to settle down here.
Muskonunga
Muskonunga is one of the largest cities in the State of Tenucky. This area is just a suburb that falls under Stuartia's jurisdiction. Muuskonunga, Stuartia, despite it's suburb status, is many times larger than Hunter and several times larger than Pisa.

PEACH COUNTY
Scheneghtada
Located on the Peach-Yellowhammer border, Albany is a small town with three factories driving the economy.
Dugunbury
Dugnubury is large, situated south in Peach County. The town is of little economic importance, but has it's own airport and a railroad running through it.
Safari
Safari is the largest city in Peach County. A sprawling place with it's own suburb, Safari is a popular tourist attraction in addition to having manufacturing centers. The military owns a small compound in inner Safari.

YELLOWHAMMER COUNTY
Mevo
A town in the south of the county, Mevo is known for it's large crop of peanuts. It also serves as a major road to both Movin and Seminola, and is filled with businesses.
Lisieux
Lisieux is a small city east of Berningham. While most eastern politcians come from Atlantis, most western politicians come from Lisieux. A city slowly dieing, it used to be a major processing center for cotton. Now, it is home to many abandoned factories.

GULF COUNTY
Movin
Movin was constructed as a Spanish seaport, albeit under a different name. Situated in western Gulf County, it lies on Spaniard Island and in the coastal region surrounding the little island. It is an important seaport, being the only one along the Yellowhammer River.
Seminola
Seminola is another large town in Gulf County, laying in a small bay to the east. Seminola is important to the US Military as it houses a naval base.

CAROL COUNTY
Mildred
A very popular tourist destination for Southerners. Mildred is a small town on the northern part of Carol County's coastline, home to a thriving tourist industry.
Charles Port
An old colonial city bathed in history. Charles Port was the site of Revolutionary battles, Civil War battles, and is still home to a community that does reenactments. A large tourist trap on Carol County's coast, there are rumors that at 8:00 pm on Saturdays the ghosts of the dead soldiers appear (the battle being fought at that time).
Green Valley
A medium-sized town in the west of Carol County. Green Valley's economy is based off coal mining and agriculture.

ATLANTIS
Heartland-Josephs International Airport
The main airport of Atlantis, this is a bustling area where you can get a plane ticket to Berningham, Vespucci, Seminola, or Muskonunga.
West Doetown
Doetown is a region of entertainment, a trendy place to visit. While the main region is decent enough, the trailer parks on the outskirts are home to gangs, such as the West Doetown Boys.
East Doetown
Doetown's eastern side, dominated by the East Doetown Boys. Doetown is where the affluent live, and the E.D.B. has made enough money to move into the neighborhoods.
Hotel Street
As the name implies, many Hotels are in this Downtown region.

VESPUCCI

BERNINGHAM

GANG MANAGEMENT

Gangs are even more important than in GTA: San Andreas. You not only can fight for territory, but also have a Gang Treasury, property, businesses, etc.

You are a member of the West Doetown Boys, a primarily white, trailer-trash group from the Doetown region of Atlantis. During the storyline some features are available. At 100% completion you can manage the gang completely, including diplomacy.

GANG RECRUITING
You have various menus you can view, one of them being the Gang Menu. This allows you to view the state of the WDB and all other criminal organizations. You can see your gang's Strength, the number of people in it.

To recruit an additional member you have to cycle to the Gang Flyer "weapon", which can be used to gain new recruits. Once you hand out a flyer (it has to be a young person), the person may ask you some questions, like their Job in the gang and petty details. If you please them, they will join the gang and the Strength will go up.

Recruiting also handles itself. You have a Gang statistic called "Influence", which varies from location to location. Influence is increased by making shows of power and especially by advertisement, like Graffiti. The higher Influence is, the larger the trickle of fresh recruits.

GANGS ARE KINGDOMS
Imagine gangs as being kingdoms. The territory you own is your personal empire. Within this territory, there are natural resources to exploit (innocent, non-gang people), barbarians (law enforcement), and your military and workers (your gangsters).

GANG ECONOMICS
Your gang has a treasury, the money being available to buy anything. However, gang money can only be spent on gang property, so you can't just dip your hand in the treasury whenever you want to buy a new house or a burger.

The money comes from your own hard-work and the recruits you've amassed. There are various ways to increase money, and here is a brief description of many of them.
SHAKE DOWNS - People passing through your territory may be shook down by your gangsters. 40% of the loot goes to the Treasury.
PROTECTION MONEY - You can make deals with local businesses to protect them. In return for protection, they give you 10% of the daily income and, after successful defenses (occasionally you will have to beat off over gang's attacks or random robberies) varying amounts of money. Failing to defend Protected businesses two times in a row will result in your contract being cancelled.
HOLD-UPS - Your gangsters can attack non-Protected businesses. 40% of the loot goes to the Treasury.
BURGLARIES - Your gangsters can attack houses. You make no money from this directly, but any money found scattered about the house goes to the Treasury.
BANK ROBBERIES - Same deal with Hold-Ups and Shake Downs, but it is much riskier and profitable.
RETAIL - Selling stolen goods. 40% of the profits goes to the Treasury.
LEGAL BUSINESS - Setting pay aside, gang-owned businesses keep all profits.
ILLEGAL BUSINESS - Setting pay aside, gang-owned businesses keep all profits.

SUPPLYING YOUR ARMY
Gangs need "stuff". You can dip into the Treasury to purchase a legal business, a building that you might have a use for, weaponry, furniture, electronics, anything. Having a rich Treasury allows you to expand your empire, and if you can afford strategic bases and high-end weaponry you can sway gang wars.

GANG CULTURE
Every criminal organization in the game, be it a mafia, a syndicate, a gang, or a triad, has a "culture". This would be the so-called Uniform, the Sign, Graffiti, etc.

Uniforms are colors and/or specific items gangsters wear to identify themselves. The West Doetown Boys wear. You can flash a sign at another gangster as a greeting, a threat, or to grasp somebody's attention depending on who you flash. Graffiti comes in two varieties: Artistic and Gang. Artistic Graffiti is just artwork you can make in your spare time. Gang Graffiti has a specific appearance and acts as an identifier.

GANG POLITICS
There is an unspoken chain of command, which you hold a rank in; the Rank is based on your level of time in the gang, service, and Respect.

The lowest rank is a Recruit, and they carry no weight. If you become an Officer you can lead up to five men in combat. If you become a General you can start wars operations, like bank robberies and such. If you become a Co-Leader you can sign contracts and make expensive purchases. If the game is 100% completed you can become Gang Leader, allowing you to set Diplomacy.

DIPLOMACY
Diplomacy is the state of things between gangs. Before 100% completion the Diplomacy is determined by the storyline.

There are three diplomatic stances: Ally, Neutral, and Enemy. You can also be at War, NAP, or Peace. There is a statistic called "Friendliness".

If a Leader, you can arrange a sit-down with a rival Leader and attempt to set a new Diplomatic stance by increasing or decreasing Friendliness. You can also declare wars, but you must have the rival agree if you want a NAP or Peace.

GANG MILITARY
There are various "Gang Missions", all of which are about fighting an enemy gang when at War.

TURF WAR - Conquer or defend Territory.
DRIVE-BY - Kill enemy gang members in vengeance.
LOOT - Steal money or property.

Turf Wars work roughly the same as a Gang War from GTA: San Andreas. When at War, walk into enemy territory. You will be given an option of declaring a Turf War. Accept, and the attack begins!

Turf Wars may be similar, but they have a different layout. There are now Command Posts and Officers; Turf Wars don't have to be settled quickly, and aren't about killing waves of enemies with bad AI. Instead, your goal is to capture all Command Posts OR kill the enemy officers. Command Posts can be outside or inside, but it takes longer to win.

After a hard battle, you receive a message that you found loot. These spoils of war will be added to the Gang Treasury, and you receive a generous amount yourself.

DRUGS AND DRUG DEALING
Drug Dealing is a potential, illegal source of money. You yourself can also use drugs, though you pay the price.
Gang "farms" or "factories" can be set up, but in that case you get none of the profits yourself, so if you want money you need to produce yourself.

DRUG TYPES
Marijuana - Comes from Marijuana Plants - 5$
---Short term Happiness, wooziness. Ultimately, damage to Lung Capacity.

Cocaine - Comes from manufacturing - 7$
---Cocaine greatly increases Happiness, Charisma, and enacts "hyper-sensitivity" for thirty seconds. However, it results in damage to Maximum Health.

Methamphetamines - Comes from manufacturing - 10$
---Happiness boost, and suddenly you are very energetic. The long-term harmfulness is in the form of Maximum Health decreases.

Pharmaceuticals - Comes from purchasing for retail - 10$
---The mixed bag of drugs. These cause psychedelic hallucinations and Happiness. Maximum Health will eventually decrease. There's always a chance that you will pass-out, having the effect of death.

Ecstasy - Comes from manufacturing - 15$
---Same old, same old. Highest Happiness boost of all.

Heroine - Comes from manufacturing - 20$
---Moderate Happiness boost.

Steroids - Comes from manufacturing or purchasing for retail - 25$
---Steroids aren't for enjoyment. These wonder-pills pump your Upper Muscle and Lower Muscle, but it's not good for your Maximum Health.

MANUFACTURING
Marijuana is grown on farms. You can buy seeds for 3$ from an underground dealer. You are then able to set up shop, growing the plants. They have a Thirst statistic and Disease, and a Thirsty and Diseased plant will lose Health until rotting and becoming useless. After three game-days the plants can be harvested for 10 Marijuana Ingredient and 3 Marijuana Seeds.

Once the Marijuana Ingredient is gathered, you have an option. Roll it into a Joint (2 Ingredient). You can then sell it.

Cocaine, Heroine, Ecstasy, and Meth are all produced from ingredients bought at the GrandeMart, named "(drug name) Set". This can produce 10 Cocaine Doses, Ecstasy Doses, Heroine Doses, and Meth Doses respectively. That's it; all ready for sale. There is a cooking "minigame".

Steroids and Pharmaceuticals can be purchased at a pharmacy (or stolen from a place) and then resold.

THE BUZZ
The police obviously don't approve of drugs, and here's the list of ways to get them after you.
Possession - 1 Wanted Star, 50$ Fine
Usage - 1 Wanted Star, 150$ Fine
Dealing - 2 Wanted Star, 250$ Fine
Manufacturing - 3 Wanted Star, 400$ Fine

When managing your business, you need to stay low-profile. You have to hide your drugs, and make deals quickly.

YOUR EMPIRE
I'll give you a scenario. You start out a marijuana dealer with a small farm in your house. You go out one day, selling your wares.

If you go to the menu you can choose an "Odd Job" to start, Drug Dealing be an option. Select it.

Now, you go out with a backpack full of pre-packaged joints. You come across a person. Press Triangle to offer it. They will either:
1. Buy
2. Decline
3. Call Cops

You make some money, and go back to cultivate more.

Pretty soon, you are wanting even more money. So now, you find an "employee", and begin the minigame once more. You walk up to a guy, press Triangle WHILE AIMING at him unarmed. Up offers the job of Dealer, Down offers the job of Manufacturer. If they agree, you then have to "haggle" on their cut of all sales.

So, you now have X number of manufacturers and dealers. You need a place of business; since you now have a drug dealing business, which means that it shows up under the "Businesses" section of the menu. Here, you can select which bits of property/areas you don't own that you want to use as drug factories. Manufacturers will work here, and dealers stop by and pick up the drug. From your Business - Drug Dealing menu you can set the orders and manage your employees. If you want to sell/produce yourself, you have to go to these Business locations.

Over time, you build a grandiose empire of dozens of manufacturers and dealers, cornering the county/city's black market and making thousands each week. Until FBI bursts down your door, of course.

THE RED LIGHT INDUSTRY
In the Real World, this would never happen in a GTA game, since the controversy would be great and the AO rating would prevent sales, but this concept idea has a 98% chance of never becoming a real GTA game, so what the heck. Hoes are now uncensored. All types of services increase Happiness.

There are two types of "red light" industries: Strip Clubs and Prostitutes. At a Strip Club, you can pay ladies to dance for you. The cost to stay in the club is 5$ for every game-hour, and 20$ for a private dance.

Prostitutes can be "picked up", you can call them up to come to you, or you can go to a brothel. They offer a variety of "services": Hand is 10$, Oral is 30$, Coitus is 50$, and "Bonus" is 70$.

BEGINNING YOUR BUSINESS
There aren't any Strip Club corporations. You can either buy an existing one or start your own. A Strip Club is perfectly legal for adults. Now, teenagers are illegal to enter.

You only pay a stripper 3$ per game-hour: most of the money they will make is tips. There are also bartenders who work for 5$. On that note, food and drink are sold here.

Another option is Pimping. You can either choose to operate out of a Brothel, a Strip Club, or just having them work on the streets. The Strip Club is the most sensical choice for how to run your empire, but you have options. Brothels cost less money to operate, while your only risk with those is that you can't "keep an eye" on your prostitutes.

- Dwaine has black hair, tan skin, and brown eyes. On his left shoulder is a nasty burn mark left from a quadbike incident. He is as muscular, fat, etc. as the player makes him, but start off skinny with higher Muscle, Lower than Muscle, Upper.
- Dwaine is somewhat sedentary, due to his gang never having gone big-time. He loves all sorts of small vehicles, including bicycles, motorcycles, and quadbikes.
- Dwaine was the son of Mary Ray. His father is unknown. To Dwaine's knowledge, he was abandoned at the South Bridge, Missianna orphanage, where he was raised. He was an unhappy child (for somewhat obvious reasons) and, combined with befriending hoodlums, turned to crime to make money. He eventually joined the Bayou Riders.

Billy Ray, Big Billy
Deuteragonist
Nephew of Dwaine Ray
White/Southern American
Male
West Doetown Boys
28
- Billy is very muscular, thus becoming his moniker "Big Billy". He has blonde hair and blue eyes, and wears all red when he can to show his gang pride.
- Billy is fiercely loyal to the W.D.B., and is one of the unspoken leaders. He is fairly smart and is good at leading the gang, but does not have much inspiration, part of the reason why the W.D.B. is going under. He likes baseball, one of the popular pastimes in West Doetown Trailer Park.
- The maternal uncle of Dwaine, Andrew Ray married Eliza Turner, fathering Billy Ray, Sarah Ray, and James Ray. He was a criminal himself, raising his children in his footsteps. The West Doetown Boys were formed by James, who wanted to unify the families of the trailer park to survive the everyday brutality. James was killed a few years back in a car wreck, the start of a collapse of the W.D.B.

Sarah Ray, Sarah
Friend-Relative
Niece of Dwaine Ray, Sister of Billy Ray
White/Southern American
Female
West Doetown Boys
24
- The Atlantis Rays happened to end up with parents with dominant blonde alleles, ensuring a family of blonde children. Sarah has orange hair, though (that's a hint). She is of average body type.
- Sarah is somewhat based off of Catalina from GTA: III and GTA: SA, in terms of having a fiery personality: she is aggressive and enjoys fighting enemy gangs. She has skill in marksmanship. Sarah is slightly neurotic due to her difference from the rest of the family.
- (The Atlantis Rays backstory was already explained)
Shotgun, Hunting Rifle, Dirt Bike.

Joseph Michaels
Friend
Friend of Billy Ray
Black/Southern American
Male
West Doetown Boys
24
- Joseph has black hair and brown eyes, and has dark brown skin. He keeps his hair in a flat top, and prefers to wear the same outfit: a gold necklace, a gold watch, a brown sun hat, blue jeans, a white T-shirt, and a red jean jacket. There is no explanation for why he prefers that uniform, though the coloring is due to red being W.D.B. colors.
- Joseph is, amongst the main four characters, the most rational and the information expert: he came from the inner city, so he knows a lot about Atlantis' center in addition to the suburbs. He enjoys gambling and cruising.
- The Michaels Family took it's name from their owner: Joseph is descended from slaves. He gave in to peer-pressure in high school and was surrounded by the "black ghetto" culture, causing his fall into gangs.

MEDIA
Media comes in many forms, and by the bushel. You have Television, Internet, Radio, and some other things like in GTA: IV. However, all of that comes in greater quantities, and then there is even more. Besides gamblling/other "minigames" and arcade games, there are actual games you can buy for fake consoles, and you can go to a movie theater to watch a movie.

The average TV program is ten minutes long (ten OR twenty hours of game time). The average movie is thirty minutes long.

With such a mecca of channels, you can use television for a variety of purposes. News about politics? Watch CNS. Mindless liberal drivel? LNB. Real news? ASNB. When you watch the news, the stuff on there might actually effect or be related to you; for example, perhaps a crash you caused is televised or the bridge across the Tenasi River is out.

The History Network and Science Network have parody-documentaries, which might interest people. The Food Channel is actually informative, as it can teach you new ways to Cook in the game (no, not cooking crack!). The rest have a variety of shows.

INTERNET
The Internet can be accessed from a Computer, a Laptop, or an Internet Cafe.
There are many different sites, but I figure I better come up with at least a few.

UMovies - YouTube parody
eMatchmaker - eHarmony parody
Encyclowiki - Wikipedia parody

GAMES
In all honesty, it may be too much work and too much disk space to put something like this in, but the video games from GTA: San Andreas were uninspired and confusing. I could burglarize a house and steal the family's console or "play" a PS2-esque game in a cutscene with Woozie, yet the game in the Johnson House is only good because when I first saw the name it may be burst out laughing and the rest suck.

Mainly, there's no point to it unless you just want a quick distraction or a high score.

The games of GTA: Stuartia are "better". First off, here's two things to know:
1. There are still arcade games.
2. Non-arcade games are "reinvented".

To play a game, you have to buy one of the three game-players: a PlayNation5, a GCube180, or a Computer. You can then buy video games. That, or steal them, but you get the point. There is a number of games; most of them parody a real-world game, but are unique.

And as for the reward?

Gaming Skill is a statistic that is garnered with playing and is then applied in Game Competitions. Scattered around the maps, you can fight against other players in your favorite games for cash prizes. If your good enough, you could make hundreds of dollars.

IMPERIALISM
Imperialism is an RTS game where you build and lead a colonial power in the 1800s. You have four civilizations, four resources, a Homeland (like the Home City from Age of Empires III), a campaign, and maps. Gameplay is very "blocky", like Age of Empires I. Except worse.

You win by destroying the enemy completely. Maps are square. On maps with ocean, Dinghies can carry troops across water.

You gather resources and construct buildings with the Colonist. Resource buildings are a source of resources: you just need to task a Colonist to one. Each building/natural source can support five Colonists. Each natural source has a limit of 500 resources.

Population space is increased by Houses, in increments of 5. The upper limit is 50.

COLONY
Colony is a parody of Halo. That means.... aaaalllliiiieeeennnnssss!!!!
This is an FPS game.

Plot
The Union of Solar Alliances (USA) rules the Sol System and several other solar systems. Times are good, but an evil alien empire (that Coalition) has launched a surprise attack on the Colony of Desertaria (I know, it's a sucky name). You play the role of "the Lieutenant", a soldier who underwent experiments and became a F-Class Augmented Guardsman: F.A.G. (subtle, I know!)

You must defend the Colony from the aliens through the course of 10 missions. Three multiplayer maps are available.

Gameplay Mechanics
Like actual Halo, you can carry two weapons and grenades at any time. Ammunition is separate of the weapon. You have a health bar that can be regenerated over time; if the health bar hits zero, you die. Obviously. Soldiers can be issued simple commands.

There are several weapon types, each with a USA Army and Coalition Marine Corps variant.

WEAPONS
P-40 Pistol - Plasma Pistol (Pistols)
US-32 - Laser Rifle (SMGs)
Shotgun - Heat Disperser (Shotgun)
AK-69 - Repeating Blaster (Automatic Rifle)

Ship Raid: Raid a Coalition spaceship.
Road to General Jeffreys: Bring the spaceship's log to "General Jeffreys".... through hostile desert.
The Comms Towers: Wipe out the Coalition forces occupying crucial comms towers.
Ambush: Defend yourself from a random ambush.
Never Again: After a montage of battles, gameplay begins. Your orders are to destroy an entire city (via various means) as a scorched earth policy.
The Armies: Defeat a crucial Coalition fleet in a suicidal mission.
Bolivian Army: A reference to the "Bolivian Army Ending" in media. Low on ammo, with few men, and surrounded by the enemy, the Colony is lost. The Coalition has found fancy technology, giving them the potential to create their own F.A.G.s. You must destroy the technology. The ending is left ambiguous.

SOLDIER'S HEART
Soldier's Heart is set in the year 2025. China has finally developed a real navy, and is growing it's own food. They launch a huge attack on San Andreas and [Hawaii].

It's essentially Colony, but in a different setting with different enemies and weapons. The weapons are real-world ones. There are ten missions.
Not In Our Country: Defense of Los Santos.
Peaceful City: Counterattack on San Fierro.
The Sea: Boarding a Chinese vessel.
[Hawaii]: Taking back the [Hawaiian] countryside.
[Honolulu]: Taking back Honolulu.... during a VOLCANIC EXPLOSION!
The Isle of Freedom: Fierce fighting in Taiwan.
British Pride: Defense of Hong Kong.
Nuclear Rainfall: The aftermath of a nuclear exchange.
[Beijing]: The Chinese capital.
At the End: A huge battle in the countryside.

OCCUPATIONS
There are many jobs you can now do. These pay varying amounts of money, and require varying amounts of skill. (list will be added later)

[COOR=red]OWNING BUSINESSES[/color]
Assets from GTA: Stuartia are now replaced with the ability to build and expand your own Businesses, legal or "unofficial".
For example, you can choose to buy a corporation's store and manage it. In return, the corporation takes 15% of the profits, leaving you to keep what you want.

Or you can start your own business. Have a building constructed to start it, and then go to the US Government Permits Office. For a fee, you can start your own corporation (giving it a name, using an art tool to draw the logo, and making a motto). Your corporations are limited to one, and you can sell what you want.

Illegal businesses include the drug trade, prostitution, and under-the-table gambling. All of these work more or less the same, but you have to keep them secret.

CHILLIN' WITH YO HOMIES: GIRLFRIENDS, FRIENDS, AND RANDOMLY-GENERATED CHARACTERS (RGC)
GTA: Stuartia has Storyline Girlfriends and Storyline Friends. It also adds Randomly-Generated Characters. RGCs fall into two categories: Girlfriends and People You Know (PYKs).

Like in GTA: SA, you can date Girlfriends and eventually reap the rewards of having to put up with them. Dates are interactive, though: if you, say, go to a diner you select various actions to do there. Romance Co. acts as a supply depot to make your girlfriend happy, selling you things like flowers or diamonds that increase their Happiness.

Well, what is Happiness?

Progress with (Such and Such) still measures your Girlfriend's love for you, so Happiness serves a different purpose: it tells you how well or how badly the date is going. When it ends, the Happiness determines how much Progress you won or lost. Gifts and actions determine the Happiness.

RGC girlfriends can be met at bars or clubs. You will be given the option to offer your heart to the female; if you accept and are successful, a Personality, Name, Home, and other important things will be randomly mapped out. There can be up to 10 RGC girlfriends in the database at once. The Rewards are smaller than with Storyline Girlfriends.

As for PYKs, they are basically just one of your gang members or an employee in your business: you can choose, while playing, to "transform" a homie or an employee into an RGC. Now, they're statistics are tracked. This is useful if you want to organize a special "elite" team for battles or something.

WANTED SYSTEM AND COVER
The Wanted System is redone. Instead of the "old" system or the Liberty City system, there is a combination of the two. Manhunts only stay in the County/City you are in, so if you can secretly slip out of site into the next County or City you are safe. Otherwise, the Manhunt expands to BOTH locations.

There are two statistics to watch; they appear underneath the Stars when you are being hunted for. One is Similarity, the other is the Wanted Clock. The Wanted Clock goes down when you "hide", and increases when Stars increase or you are detected by police, in till it refills to the maximum (the maximum amount is determined by your level). When the Wanted Clock decreases Stars gradually decrease.

Similarity is a way of hiding. When you are caught, a description of you goes to the police. This is considered the basis for your Similarity. By changing your clothing, hair, physique (if possible within the time constraints), tattoos, or anything else you can decrease Similarity, decreasing the chance of being caught (0% meaning you will never be caught). If you were in a car, you can get into another one when the police aren't around to decrease Similarity.

Safe Houses aren't "safe" anymore; at the higher levels, they can be broken into and attacked. Also, if you are seen entering one the Clock doesn't decrease. What they ARE good for is that you can try to sneak out the back door; if successful, the "hunters" will stay pinned up around the house, unless they see you again.

The Cover/Hide system is also added. Cover works similar to GTA: IV. You can also Hide. When you are hidden, you appear blue on the minimap. Hiding can be as simple as crouching (like in San Andreas), or jumping into a dumpster.

Police are smarter and more talented, but just enough to make it "fun" fighting them. An alternative to Hiding, you can take a Hostage or The consequences of an arrest differ depending on the Wanted Level. At low levels, police will follow

LEVEL 1
The police officers who saw you will follow you, and any police officers who see you being chased. Nonlethal melee and mace are preferred; the police prefer to arrest you. They will fire upon you if your fire a ranged weapon. Cars will slowly trail you. Up to three following officers.
Fee: 100$
Services Refused: Nothing
Clock: 20 seconds

LEVEL 2
The police will fire at you on sight, but aren't aggressive. High-speed car chases, sometimes with a news van, but not particularly aggressive drivers. K9 units sent to attack you.
Fee: 150$
Services Refused: Nothing
Clock: 1 minute, 1 minute 20 seconds to hit Zero

LEVEL 3
The police will follow you in a search helicopter. Major media coverage. Aggressive drivers. Shotgun-armed police will fire at will. Spike strips deployed. K9 units in increasing numbers.
Fee: 200$
Services Refused: Buses, Trains, Airports
Clock: 1 minutes, 2 minutes 20 seconds to hit Zero

LEVEL 4
The helicopter fires miniguns at you, and is filled with snipers and paratroopers. K9 units eliminated; they're no longer any good. Rifle-armed police. Riot Police sent after you. Safe Houses are inspected.
Fee: 300$
Services Refused: Nothing
Clock: 1 minutes, 3 minutes 20 seconds to hit Zero

LEVEL 5
SWAT is called out. All police in riot gear. Safe Houses are surrounded by police. SWAT trucks complement spike strips. Tear gas deployed. Your Safe House is surrounded.
Fee: 500$
Services Refused: Weapons Stores, Gas Stations, Car Dealerships, Motels
2 minutes, 5 minutes 20 seconds to hit Zero

LEVEL 6
The FBI joins the hunt. All civilians are forced into their houses. Police are completely replaced with SWAT and FBI. FBI agents use SMGs, making it pretty dang hard to escape. Major highways have huge roadblocks. Your Safe House will be broken into.
Fee: 1000$
Services Refused: All Stores
2 minutes, 7 minutes 20 seconds to hit Zero

LEVEL 7
Throwing Constitutionality out the window, the National Guard swarms into the streets. Give up, you're pretty much going to die.
Fee: 2000$
Services Refused: EVERYTHING. Even your criminal buddies are hiding in their houses.
2 minutes 40 seconds, 10 minutes to hit Zero

This increasing law enforcement-hell is caused when 911 is dialed, whether by a civilian or an officer. Eliminate the threat quickly, and you can spare yourself the trouble of hiding. You can shut up corrupt officers and civilians by Threatening them or Bribing them. 100$ to bribe, Threats work or not randomly (though an armed enemy is more likely to not care).

Gang
- The gang you start out in. Run by Billy Ray, the WDB used to rule the western half of Altantis' Doetown District, but now is dying due to the death of some of the most important WDB leaders. Throughout the storyline, however, you will rebuild the WDB to it's former glory and branch outwards, going "big-time".

East Doetown Boys

Primarily white.
Gang
- The EDB is a "pretender", like the Ballas in GTA: San Andreas. Another small-time gang, the EDB owns much of the Doetown District and is strong. However, as the WDB spreads out, they start to lose their monopoly on Doetown gangbanging and become more and more dependent on suckling from the Mafia.

Da Ghetto OGs

Gang
- Another small-time gang this one in Atlantis' ghettos. Da Ghetto OGs fight with the Mafia and the Diablos Engendrar, but the Mafia "lets them win", as the great syndicate uses the Atlantis gangs to manipulate them. Predominately black, Da Ghetto OGs have little interest in the white-dominated rural areas.

Mafia
- The great superpower of Stuartia, the mafia that rivals the other mafias. In [Chicago], in Las Venturas, in Liberty City, in [Memphis] there are mafias that rule entire cities, and Atlantis boasts that control over their own "private property". The Atlantis Mafia is divided into four branches, carefully balancing power like the Las Venturas Mafia. They have no time for petty squabbles; their main enemy is the Berningham Mob.

El Peros Loco
Gulf County
Yellow
Hispanic
Gang
- The Crazy Dogs live in Gulf County; while they occupy both Movin and Seminola, they are mostly piled up in Seminola, with the Haitian Families they hate. This Hispanic gang enjoys being the top dog down south.

East Coast Syndicate
Carol County
Gray
European-descended
Syndicate
- Based in Carol County's communities of Mildred and Charles' Port, a combination of Irish, French, German, Norwegian, and British make up the East Coast Syndicate. In fact, those are the five branches of their government. The East Coast Syndicate is about on par with the Yakuza and Triads, being not as powerful as the Mafias but being more powerful than the Gangs.

Haitian Families
Gulf County, Peach County
Purple
Haitian
Gang
- The podunk, third-world nation of Haiti is a miserable place to live, which is why there are so many immigrants like with Mexico and Cuba, and some of these immigrants form gangs. The Haitian Families live in Seminola and the countryside, but also have branches in Peach County towns and communities. They aren't as large as the Peros Locos, but are effective and have enough "crazy" to win firefights where they are outmatched.

Berningham Mob
Berningham
Mobster-like clothing
Black
Mafia
- The Berningham Mob may not be as huge as the Atlantis Mafia, but it boasts local control. Primarily black, BM funds the enemies of the Mafia rather than fight their enemy themselves.

B.G.U.
Yellowhammer County
Green
Black
Gang
- Black Gangs United is the primary gang of the African American-dominated Yellowhammer County. These brigands are known for daring looting sprees, and their skill at getting away from chases. Manipulated by the BM, they are at odds with the WMUACP for obvious reasons.

El Diablos Engendrar
Peach County, Atlantis
Brown
Hispanic
Gang
- The Devil's Spawn live in Atlantis and the surrounding countryside. The primary Hispanic gang, they are just another small-time group on par with WDB, EDB, and Da Ghetto OGs. Known for their connections to the Mexican cartels, they are notorious for dealing drugs.

Tenasi Navy
Tenasi County
Sailing uniforms
White
Syndicate
- They may look like dorks, but the Tenasi Navy is as coldblooded and fearsome as any other gang. This syndicate is more or less a river-born band of marauders: their "navy" lives in cabin cruisers and at dockside estates, and launches daring maritime raids.

WMUACP (White Males United Against Coloured Peoples)
Everywhere, especially Peach County.
KKK-esque disguises.
Completely White
Racist hate group
- They are the symbol of oppression, the Democratic Party's nickname for Republicans, and a fearsome force. Known for conducting brutal murders on black people, they specifically target non-white ethnicities in their crimes. Their golden age was the 1920s; now, they're a relic of the past (thank God!).

ADPAWT (African-Descended Peoples Against White Tyranny)
Everywhere, especially Yellowhammer County.
Black Panther-esque uniforms.
Completely Black
Racist hate group
- Somebody needs to fill in WMUACP's shoes, and that would be their vice versa-equivalent: these jerks have links to less-than-admirable civil rights groups, so win they stalk election polls and loot white neighborhoods they can get away with it.

East American Triad
Carol County, Vespucci in particular
Triad-like uniforms.
Chinese
Triad
- The EAT is composed of three Triads. Why Asia chose to set up on the East Coast is unknown, though some suspect that the EAT and Vespucci Yakuza were fleeing from their homeland enemies. The EAT has a level of finesse unknown to all but the Mafias, and prefer the more elegant side of crime.

Vespucci Yakuza
Vespucci
Yakuza-like uniforms.
Japanese
Yakuza
- The Vespucci Yakuza is in a perpetual war with the EAT. A bit crazier, they are a major threat to them. They have car companies in Japan backing them, leading them to target Triad-owned C.A.R. Centers in hopes of taking them over and forming a "J.A.R." company.

Heaven's Demons
Everywhere. They don't rule much gang territory and are thinly dispersed, but instead control little hideouts in the county towns.
Black, biker uniforms.
Predominantly White.
Biker Gang
- A biker gang. They actually aren't much of a threat to anybody, preferring to loiter in bars. However, they fight rough when at war, and are a threat in individual battles.

CSA
They have a compound in Peach County. They mostly stick to themselves, but branch out everywhere, particularly Atlantis.
Confederate uniforms
White
The "CSA" is a neo-Confederate secessionist group. They use crime to carry on their operations.
- The so-called "New CSA" is a group of delusional people living in the past. This group usually minds their own business, living in their Peach County compound called "New Richmond", but when necessary they fight brutally. New Richmond is self-sufficient, and their "army" is well-trained, making them a fearsome fighting force during wartime. They help the WMUACP, but only for their own purposes.

Graphics? Do you mean pictures, fancy writing, maps, like in the Huron State thread? I intend to add pictures, but I can't make my own graphics and a I need to find a painting program for the map.

I do intend on fleshing this out. smile.gif I don't know much about cars, though.

Well, I do concept art on paper. I could try photographing the pictures and upload them to the computer.

Drift-Kingz: I thought about adding some new ones (and probably will), not as much for that reason but because those are all "fancy west coast Democrat" stores; in the South, other stores would probably be popular.

Maps can(and ususally are) made with Paint. GFX can be made with Photoshop or GIMP.

I know, I used to love that app. That's on Windows, though; my family switched to MAC several years back. I found a download that's described as the "closest thing to Window's Paint", but I couldn't get it installed quickly so I went ahead and removed it.

i'm interested in more, but the name Berningham is kinda mercie_blink.gif do you know where the name Birmingham came from? try the name Elyton or something. Elyton Land Company came up with the name Birmingham. Rockstar always found names of their cities through which the real life city got it's name from. it's an okay name, but look more into where your cities' names came from. Atlantis is good, that's what Atlanta name came from. Columbia's parody is okay. this is actually interesting smile.gif

Do YOU know where the name Birmingham comes from?

In hindsight, I didn't bother checking to see if it was referring to England's Birmingham or Georgia's Birmingham, though in hindsight it was probably the English one.

Birmingham is a combination of "Beormund inglas ham", Anglo-Saxon for (roughly) "house/farm of Beormund's people". "Bearn" is also an Anglo-Saxon name, so I substituted Beormund for Bearn, and came up with Berningham.

Thank you for the advice, though. It seems you have done your own research. smile.gif I might change the name, I'm just waiting for a response.

Atlanta? Are you sure? I read that it came from "Atlantic" or "Atlanata" (the latter being the middle name of the founder's daughter). I just chose Atlantis 'cause it would fit. smile.gif

I'm guessing you figured out "Vespucci", since I mentioned it. Columbia might be named after Christopher Columbus, so Amerigo Vespucci would be a potential substitute.

Heck, I'll go ahead and explain the rest of the etymologies.
------------------
Yellowhammer County
- Alabama is the Yellowhammer State.

Peach County
- Georgia is the Peach State.

Carol County
- Carol is short for Carolina, as in South Carolina.

Gulf County
- A reference to the Gulf of Mexico, where this county lay.

Tenasi County
- "Tennessee" comes from the old native word "Tenasi". In the game, the State of Tennessee is Tenucky (a combination of Tennessee and Kentucky).

Hunter
- Huntsville, Alabama.

Pisa
- Rome, Georgia.

Muskonunga
- A parody of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Muskonunga City is based in the language of the natives. "Chato nunga". Rock dwelling. This was the language of the local Muskogeans. "Muskonunga". Muskogean's dwelling.

Mildred
- Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I just used another female name.

Charles' Port
- Charleston, South Carolina. Charles' Port is kind of obvious.

Green Valley
- Greenville, South Carolina.

I haven't finished Alabama or Georgia yet. This leaves Gulf County, with Seminola and Movin. Movin is somewhat of a no-brainer, being based on the Alabama city of Mobile. Seminola and Seminola Fort are parodies of Pensacola, Florida and the local military base. Pensacola is named after a local tribe, so I just used a different Florida tribe: the Seminoles.

EDIT: Does anybody have a USEFUL online painting tool you know of? It has to be easy to use and have a fairly big screen.

Do you know what would be cool? If you could go in the Pet store and buy dogs. So in missions you could call your dog (bit like in RDR when you call your horse) and the dog could bite people and sh*t. That would be different smile.gif

You can buy dogs.

A dog as a weapon? That's a fairly good idea; guard dogs.

Here's a cookie. tounge.gif cookie.gif

Horses, BTW, will be a "vehicle" you can find in the countryside. It only makes sense, especially in a part of the nation where there's a surprising number of people with pet horses.

Are there any specifics you can point out, to help me? The "Knowledge" set is probably MOSTLY useless.

Skills (weaponry and vehicles), Muscle, Stamina, Fat, SA, Respect, and Lung Capacity were in GTA: San Andreas, and they fit nicely (I'm a fan of that game). Energy and Hungriness were in, but they didn't have bars, so you had to make guesses: my inclusion of them is for the player's convenience.

Hungriness was divided into two statistics, Muscle was divided into two statistics, and Sleep was added. This was all for realism: most exercises are meant to stress either your legs or arms. Thus, why not break up the statistic? You could go for infinite amounts of game-days without ever "sleeping" (saving the game), so it makes sense to add sleep.

With Respect, I added Notoriety and Charisma. The way I see it, Charisma should have been in San Andreas. Notoriety is more of a way to gauge how "famous" you are, and isn't that important (like the Knowledge Group).

The thing is, the Hunger bar was both one of the most hated and the most useless features in the game. Adding an even more obtrusive one (sleep) and bringing back hunger? No thanks. Hunger and sleep could very well make the game undesirable to some.

I've got nothing serious against skill levels, but they're just unnecessary and I feel it should rely entirely on the player's skill rather then some abstract concept. It's the same with muscles and lung capacity, albeit those ones, I feel, make more sense and aren't as annoying. The social ones have no complaints from me.
