Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review 3 missions made by Kaizer chief from his Return of the Ballas storyline.

The link to the topic where the missions can be also downloaded is: http://www.gtaforums...howtopic=453732.

Now, it's review time,

- Writing: Very Good . They're generally well written even with the gangster language from different characters in this storyline. Nice coloring texts in order to facilitate the readings.
- Presentation: Excellent . Nice viewing angle between different cutscenes. I like how the characters have many different animations and how the action animations is well synchronized to the time of the cutscene.

Intro:

- Length: Decent , as it can be done in 4 minutes. The player plays as a no-name ballas member and he meets his close friend Frank in order to revive the Ballas past glory which was destroyed since CJ and his grove street members (GSFs) dominate Los Santos 2 years ago.
- Difficulty: Very easy . The player just have to go to many different objective destinations around Los Santos and watch the cutscenes that help progressing the storyline. No gunfights involved.
- Variety: Very good amount of characters that represent the ballas members, the GSFs, CJ and the present Ballas members in their normal daily lives (without the gang clothes). The weapons are there such as the assault rifles, SMGs and miniguns but are only shown during the cutscenes.

Rallying the Troops:
- Length: Very Good , as it can be done in 7 minutes. The player as a no-name ballas member and Frank want to recruit more former Ballas members before starting the war with the GSFs. Most of them have normal lives which start to get enough to live with.
- Difficulty: Very easy . The player just have to go to many different objective destinations around Los Santos in order to recruit more members and watch the cutscenes that help progressing the storyline. No gunfights involved.
- Variety: Good amount of the characters which represent the Ballas members, with and without the gang clothes. No weapons can be found in this mission.

The Uprising Begins:
- Length: Excellent , as it can be done in 10 minutes. The protagonist and his ballas members start to assault some GSFs members. Before this, they need some weapons scattered around East Los Santos, they need to pick them up before starting a gunfight in Los Flores territory.
- Difficulty: Hard . The enemies have many different weapons with average accuracies. However, there's two enemies that the player needs to take his eyes on: the rocket launcher guy and the driving enemy that runs over you. Not to mention the cops involvements whenever a shooting takes place. Hopefully, the armors and health packs makes this mission far doable for most people.
- Variety: Very good amount of model characters which includes the GSFs and ballas members with different weapons such as: Desert eagles, shotguns, assault rifles, SMGs, katana, and rocket launchers.

Overall the missions are very good and looks more promising icon14.gif . I like how the author put a lot of different animations between different characters instead of just standing there looking static. I can tell that he puts a good amount of effort for designing those missions. I can't to see what happens in the next missions biggrin.gif .

I'm back!

Today, I'm going to review 3 missions made by pauliux2 from his The Killer series.

You can download his missions at: http://dyom.gtagames...search=pauliux2.

Now, it's review time,

- Writing: Very Good . They're generally well written even though there's some grammatical mistakes. Most characters have a gangster language, while some of them, like the mastubator, says a lot of profanities. Nice text coloring in order to facilitate the readings.
- Presentation: Very Good . Nice viewing angle between different cutscenes. There's a good amount of character animations which is a good thing instead of just standing there in a static position.

The Killer trailer:
- Length: Very Short , as it can be done in one minute. This mission only shows the character casts of pauliux2's new series, in order to recognize them.
- Difficulty: Very Easy . There's No gunfights or anything lethal involved. Just watch carefully the cutscenes.
- Variety: Good amount of character models of each cast. They mostly have a civilian-like appearance. However, no guns can be found in each cutscene.

Bringing The Friend:

- Length: Very Good , as it can be done in 8 minutes. The player play as a black civilian called John, who lives in his own (CJ) house and has a task from his friend to help a masturbator to fight against the armed Aztecas in El Corona, Los Santos.
- Difficulty: Medium . Most enemies carry weapons such as SMGs and pistols, have strong accuracies and appear in quite large numbers. Not only that, the cops get also involved if the player breaks the law. Fortunately, there's a good amount of healthpacks and armors whenever the player is damaged.
- Variety: Good amount of character models which include the protagonist, the masturbator and each members of the Varrios Aztecas gang and there's a good amount of weapons that each character carries.

Lost Home:
- Length: Short , as it can be done in 3 minutes. The player John decides to eat at a local pizzeria when suddenly his own (CJ) house is blowing up by explosions. There's turning events which unfortunately cannot be spoiled.
- Difficulty: Easy . However, while it looks easy on paper, the random explosions and fires can annoy the player. Otherwise, no gunfights involved, just go to the objective locations.
- Variety: Decent amount of character models which includes John and some unknown characters. There's two cars which can be found there. John only carries a silenced pistol, that's it.

Overall, the missions are very good and interesting icon14.gif . The difficulty is alright for most of the time which is enjoyable to play for most average players. And the length are pretty much at the same level as the official GTA San Andreas missions. Kudos for the author to make those missions and keep up the good work biggrin.gif .

Hello everyone,

Today I'm going to review 3 missions made by Tug66666 from the Power Is Everything series.

The missions can be download at: http://www.gtaforums...howtopic=455529.

Let's start the review,

- Writing: Excellent , they're perfectly well written even though they're not all written in traditional English. The instructions are very clear and comprehensive and the dialogues are very well structured.
- Presentation: Very good . Nice viewing angle between different cutscenes. One mission that really amaze me is the Gathering the Supplies mission, especially the rail shooting part.

So much more to do in life:
- Length: Good , as it can be done in 6 minutes. The player plays as John and he's been tasked by his older brother Vinnie from the Romando's mansion at Muholland to rescue an old friend from the thugs at El Corona, Los Santos.
- Difficulty: Easy . There's a few enemies who fights with their fists against the player and Vinnie's friend. Beat them down until they're K.O.. No gunfights involved.
- Variety: Good . There's a good amount of characters models which includes John, Vinnie, Vinnie's friend and some local thugs. Unfortunately, no one carries a weapon.

Know your Enemies well. Know your allies Better:
- Length: Very Good , as it can be done in 7 minutes. The player John has been tasked by his brother Vinnie to pick up more of his friends around the eastern half of Los Santos in order to plan his future domination in Los Santos.
- Difficulty: Very Easy . The player just have to go to many different objective checkpoints around the eastern half of Los Santos to pick up 3 buddies in a 4 door-vehicle. No fights or anything lethal involved.
- Variety: Good . There's a good amount of characters models which includes John, Vinnie and 3 of his pickup friends. Unfortunately, no one carries a weapon.

Gathering the Supplies:

- Length: Good , as it can be done in 6 minutes. The player John has been tasked with a friend Pedro to steal a weapons carrying truck. Things aren't going as smoothly as they're ambushed by local gangs while attempting to steal the truck.
- Difficulty: Easy . The main attraction of this mission is the rail shooting part, so expect a lot of enemies that chase the player and Pedro while at the same time shooting at them with average accuracies. Don't forget to put the ''ZEIIVG'' cheat code in order to get the full chasing experience.
- Variety: Excellent amount of character models which include John, Pedro and some local gangs with weapons such as SMGs and pistols and vehicles such as the motorbike, two different cars and a truck.

Overall I like the series storyline and missions a lot icon14.gif . I like how each mission are connected together in order to plan a future domination of Los Santos led by Vinnie Romando and that he uses the protagonist as his pawn that solves his problem than his brother. Good job Tug66666 and keep up the good work biggrin.gif .

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review 4 missions made by JOJOXX. They're part of the Jobs from Mr.Bernard series.

The missions can be downloaded at: http://www.gtaforums...howtopic=427609.

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing: Decent . There's quite a good amount of structural, grammatical and typing mistakes that can be found in these missions. But if we look at the bright side, at least they're pretty much straight-forward to understand them. Nice coloring text by the way.
- Presentation: Excellent . Nice viewing angle between the different cutscenes and impressive moving and action animations that are synchronized to the timing. Some cutscenes are hilarious such as the falling guy at the ''=P1= The Hero'' mission.

=INTRO=:
- Length: Short , as it can be done in 90 seconds. The player plays as Brian, an ambulance worker in San Fierro who got his apartment being destroyed by an unknown perpetrator. Brian wants to know the truth behind this.
- Difficulty: Easy . Most the missions consists of cutscenes, except one part where the player must escape from his apartment without getting burned. No gunfights involved.
- Variety: Good amount of characters models such as Brian, the perpetrator and the non-playable characters (NPCs). Good amount of cars and objects such as fires and explosions.

=P1= The Hero:
- Length: Very Good , as it can be done in 9 minutes. The player Brian has been tasked to by an unknown person to kill the Vagos gang inside the parking lot at esplanade north, San Fierro and rescuing the remaining Triad members there.
- Difficulty: Hard . The enemies have very good accuracies and carries weapons such as the SMGs, the assault rifles and the combat shotguns. As there's no healthpacks and armors, the player must be very careful on surroundings in order to stay alive. Use the parking cars as your shield against the enemy fires.
- Variety: Very Good amount character models such as Brian, the Vagos and the Triad members with different weapons and vehicles. The player is initially equipped with an AK-47.

=P2= The Revenge:
- Length: Very Good , as it can be done in 9 minutes. The player Brian and his Triad allies are going to attack the Vagos base in east beach, Los Santos and killing the ringleader there.
- Difficulty: Medium . The enemies have an average accuracies even though there's a lot of them. The player also have his allies to assist during the gunfights even though there's no healthpacks and armors. Some enemies are very well hidden so the player has to get a good sense of observation in order to kill them.
- Variety: Very Good amount character models such as Brian, the Vagos and the Triad members with different weapons such as the MP5, M4, AK-47, molotov cocktails, sniper and rocket launcher. There's only 2 vehicles that can be found in this mission in an otherwise deserted battlefield.

=P3= The betrayer:
- Length: Excellent , as it can be done in 13 minutes. The player Brian must kill a betrayer who was a former friend of the triad leader and his hideout is full of agents that surround the Carlton heights area in San Fierro. Because their defense is tight, the Triad leader gives him a mosquito helicopter to fly around the area and kill the enemies without too much difficulty.
- Difficulty: Medium . The enemies have an average accuracies even though there's a lot of them. At the indoor gunfights, the player gets plenty of healthpacks in order to facilitate the mission. Just proceed inside the rooms carefully.
- Variety: Very Good amount of character models such as Brian, the Triad leader, the agents, the NPCs and the betrayer with weapons such as the pistol, Ak-47, micro-uzi and MP5.

Overall, the missions are very good icon14.gif . I noticed some hilarious bug at the "=P3= The betrayer" mission where an enemy wants to blow an helicopter with his rocket launcher but missed completely as the rocket exploded at the nearby balcony where the enemy is situated, so it looked like a messed up cutscene. Otherwise, good job for JOJOXX for making those enjoyable missions and keep up the good work biggrin.gif .

Hello everyone,

Due to the results of the DYOM contest #3 and the request to write a review about it. I decided to review a mission called The Wanted by GTA!!!

The mission can be downloaded at: http://dyom.gtagames...ct=show&id=5524.
The topic about this mission can be found at: http://www.gtaforums...c=410137&st=120.
The walkthrough videos for this mission has been done and can be found there:
The Wanted - part 1
The Wanted - part 2

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing: Excellent , as pretty much at professional writing level. Nice text coloring too, to make the objective clearer for the readers.
- Presentation: Excellent . Excellent viewing angle and timing between cutscenes. Nice objects placement to make the mission more epic.
- Length: Very long , it can be done in 16 minutes. You play as Jason freeman, a member of a team tasked to kill Andrew Jackson. The player and his 3 allies has to go to many different places around Los Santos to find the main enemy.
- Difficuty: Medium . For a long mission like this, I'm really impressed that the difficulty stays smooth, making more accessible for most people. The enemies generally have low accuracies and there's plenty of health packs and armors. The player is equipped with an AK-47 or M4 and the same can be said to your allies weapons.
- Variety: Excellent . There's a lot of different models, mostly from the bad guys side. A lot of different weapons that the player can try, good choice of vehicles like the patriot and a motorbike. Very good use of objects like the mansion's entrance and the suspended platforms, very original.

This is an impressive mission and the design was done with excellent quality icon14.gif cookie.gif , highly recommended mission. Excellent job for designing the mission and keep up the good work biggrin.gif .

Hello DYOM users,

I was thinking to add a top 10 DYOM missions that I reviewed so far on my DYOM review topic. The top 10 can be modified and updated each time I write a new review. The DYOM users can choose their 3 favorites missions that are reviewed, made by other DYOM users and their choice can be changed or edited as a new review will be posted constantly.

The top 10 DYOM missions will be posted at the first post of my DYOM review topic as it would make easier to check. So for those who are interested, please write your 3 favorites missions that are reviewed after this post biggrin.gif .

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review 2 missions made by UNRATED69. They're part of The Jackson Brothers mission series.

In order to download the missions, please go to this link at: http://www.gtaforums...howtopic=454909.

Now, let's start the review.

- Writing: Excellent . Everything. Everything is well written and well structured which makes it a lot easier to understand the objectives and dialogues. Nice text coloring in order to highlight the important words.
- Presentation: Very Good . Nice viewing angle between each different cutscenes and the some parts of the missions such as the dealing part in "Bite the Bullet" mission, the objectives are executed flawlessly.

Hotel Shootout:

- Length: Decent , as it can be done in 4 minutes. The player plays as Bo Jackson and he's been tasked by his brother Dave Jackson to kill some Southerners who injures him from his house at the hotel east of the Caligulas's casino in Las Venturas.
- Difficulty: Hard . The enemies have very strong accuracies and carry some different weapons. To complicate things further, the player has only a pistol which lacks an effective range and there's no health packs or armor at the gunfighting site. Use your surrounding as cover against the enemy fires.
- Variety: Very Good amount of character models such as Bo, Dave, the cowboys models as the Southerners gang with weapons such as the pistol, SMGs and shotguns and three cars: one locked, the other unlocked and the last one used for the enemy with drive-by shootings.

Bite the Bullet:
- Length: Decent , as it can be done in 4 minutes. The player's brother Dave present to our protagonist a guy named Mikar. The latter one wants the player to watch his deals with some strangers at the rooftop to make sure that the whole operation is doing well.
- Difficulty: Easy . The player is far enough from the enemies without getting damaged. However, the player must protect Mikar from the strangers after the deal went wrong, so the player has to kill them fast with the Tec-9.
- Variety: Good amount of character models such as Bo, Dave, Mikar and some strangers as a normal ped models with weapons such as the pistols, and SMGs and the parked car for the player to drive at the beginning.

Overall, the missions are very good and well written icon14.gif . The missions follow the same structure of the official GTA missions: straight-forward, comprehensive objectives and simple gameplay settings. Good job of designing these missions and keep up the good work biggrin.gif .

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review 4 missions made by Chimpso, which are part of The Columbos series.

The missions can be downloaded at: http://www.gtaforums...howtopic=456019.

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing: Very Good . Although there's some typing mistakes, it isn't a very big deal. It is comprehensive and detailed enough to understand what the missions is all about.
- Presentation: Good . Nice viewing came angle between different cutscenes. Otherwise, nothing too jaw-dropping there, just the usual dialogue cutscenes.

Lighting the Fire:

- Length: Short , as it can be done in 3 minutes. The player plays as Jimmy Colorado and he must reclaim his past gang glory with his brother which was annihilated by the Grove Street gang in Los Santos. This is a prologue mission that explains the storyline.
- Difficulty: Very Easy . Since it's a prologue mission that it's heavily cutscene-centered, the player only have to walk into different objectives checkpoints. So there's no gunfights or anything lethal related there.
- Variety: Decent . There's a few characters like Jimmy and his former friends with some vehicles there. Otherwise, that's it for the mission.

The Locals:
- Length: Short , as it can be done in 3 minutes. The player Jimmy helps a guy to fight against the Grove Street Boyz in a brawl fighting in Las Colinas, Los Santos. The guy in question is later revealed as Guy, your new partner for your future gang.
- Difficulty: Easy . Since it's only brawl fighting in an alleyway in Las Colinas and that the player have an ally to assist him, the enemies can be knocked down without much trouble.
- Variety: Decent amount of characters models which includes Jimmy, Guy and the Grove Street members with a weapon such as the brass knuckle.

Cornelious:
- Length: Decent , as it can be done in 4 minutes. Jimmy and Guy meets a guy named Cornelious and the latter tell them to kill a group of Grove Street members in Las Colinas if they want him to join the party.
- Difficulty: Medium . The mission can be tricky and annoying because the player is brawl fighting in a hilly street where your attacks are less effective than in a flat area and cops can see your actions. Just stay away from the cops and the mission can be far doable.
- Variety: Good amount of character models such as Jimmy, Guy, Cornelious and the Grove Street members with melee weapons such as the baseball, a knife and a brass knuckle.

First Turf:
- Length: Good , as it can be done in 5 minutes. Jimmy, Guy and Corn are gunfighting against some waves of the Grove Street boyz in order to gain some territories in Las Colinas.
- Difficulty: Medium . The mission now involves gunfighting, which the enemies have average accuracies. However with your allies, the mission can be done even without a healthpack.
- Variety: Good amount of character models such as Jimmy, Guy, Cornelious and the Grove Street members with both armed and melee weapons such as the pistol, tec-9 and baseball bat.

Overall the missions are interesting both in gameplay and storyline icon14.gif . They pretty much follows the same size as the official missions albeit a little bit short in terms of mission gameplay objectives. Otherwise, good job and keep up the good work biggrin.gif .

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review 2 of the missions made by Beto_kafra. They're part of The Big Dept series.

These missions can be downloaded at: http://www.gtaforums...howtopic=455968.

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing:
Good . The storyline, the objectives and the dialogues are written in a detailed way which is a good thing. There's some grammatical errors which can be found at these missions, but as long they're comprehensive enough, it's not that much of a issue. Nice text coloring.
- Presentation: Very Good . Nice viewing angle between different cutscenes. Nice use of different animations for each characters in order to give the cutscenes more life than just standing there looking static.

Hostile Reception:
- Length: Good , as it can be done in 5 minutes. The player plays as Robert who just came to Los Santos from the airport. His close friend Wayne, who is also his sister's boyfriend, picks him up and drive at Idlewood when they're ambushed by the Japanese gang called the "Hitokiri (manslayer) Boyz".
- Difficulty: Medium . There's two waves of enemies: one wave which consists of brawl fighting and the second wave consists of Gunfighting. The brawl fighting can be done fairly easily if you're careful enough, but the second one can be quite annoying, mainly because of the police involvement. Otherwise, their accuracies are average at best.
- Variety: Very Good amount of characters which include the protagonist Robert, his ally Wayne, the Hitokiri "Da Nang" Boyz and Robert's sister which many of them carry weapons such as baseball bat, katana, pistol and SMGs and one car.

Shooting on the Morning:
- Length: Good , as it can be done in 6 minutes. Robert's sister Melanie wants the protagonist to buy some foods at the Idlewood's grocery store from the new house. Unfortunately, the Hitokiri are still looking for some troubles around the area and the player must escape the hazard.
- Difficulty: Very Hard! This is a mission where the player must react fast and memorize the enemy's position, otherwise he will be killed easily. The player has to gunfight against the enemies with strong accuracies inside a small grocery store. After this, he must escape the grocery store before he gets run over by the enemy motorbikes and cars with drive-bys on top of it. While doable, the whole process can be messy for an average player.
- Variety: Very Good amount of characters which include Robert, Wayne, Melanie and the Hitokiri Boyz with weapons such as pistols, baseball bats, shotguns, SMGs, healthpacks and vehicles such as 4-door cars and motorbikes.

Overall, those missions have a very good design and it's sure look interesting icon14.gif . The difficulty can be annoying for some players in those missions because of the police involvement on the first mission and the proximity of the enemies on the second mission. Otherwise, the author did a good job for these missions and must keep up the good work biggrin.gif .

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review a mission made by VideoGameFan4 due of his request. The mission is called Dark Secret .

The mission can be downloaded at: http://dyom.gtagames...ct=show&id=7239.

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing: Excellent . Anything is pretty much flawless like it's written by a professional. I like also the way that some of the dialogues are trying to scare the player like when they're written in CAPITAL letters with lots of exclamation points (!!!). There's no text coloring, but it's not a big deal.
- Presentation: Very Good . The viewing angle of each different cutscenes are accurate. The mission has an horror theme written on it and the execution, like the character animations, fits perfectly for such theme. There's some bugs like some characters pop up more than once which can be seen in this mission though.
- Length: Excellent , as it can be done in 12 minutes. The player plays the role of Kyle, a young person who recently heard about the weird things that happens in Area 69 from a neighbor in a desert town. The military at the site caught the protagonist for trespassing the area and sent in the Area 69 prison. At this moment, the player will discover many unexpected things.
- Difficulty: Medium . The mission is mostly focused on exploration by walking to many objectives and following the story. But, as the mission progresses, the player have a armed weapon to fight against the enemies carrying a melee weapon and later a armed weapon with average accuracies. Pretty much a smooth mission difficulty-wise.
- Variety: Very Good amount of character models such as Kyle, the area 69 director, the army and the weird enemies. The weapons that can be seen and found include combat shotgun, chainsaws, assault rifles and desert eagles.

Overall, the mission is very interesting and enjoyable icon14.gif . I like the way that horror theme in this mission is executed even though that sometimes it can be a little bit over-the-top, especially about the identity of the enemies. Otherwise, kudos for the author to make a great mission biggrin.gif .

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review a mission made by jordz0005. The mission is called The Warehouse .

The mission can be downloaded at: http://dyom.gtagames...ct=show&id=7248.

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing: Good . While the objective of the mission is crystal clear. The whole mission description and dialogues are writing in short sentences. There's a also a lack of apostrophes but it's nothing major.
- Presentation: Good . While the mission is pretty-much straight-forward, it seems that most the characters have pretty much static animations. However the camera angle between different cutscenes are accurate.
- Length: Short , as it can be done in 2 minutes. The player plays as a SWAT member and he must kill the Rifa gang members including the leader inside an abattoir (meat factory).
- Difficulty: Medium . There's around a dozen of enemies in this mission with average accuracies. However some area like the box container area seems to be a little bit harder because of the narrow paths and visibility. The whole mission is doable for the mainstream player though.
- Variety: Good amount of characters models such as the SWAT members, including the protagonist with a M4, a detective and the Rifas gangs members that carry weapons such as the AK-47, Tec-9, Micro-Uzi, Sawn-Off Shotgun and Shotgun.

Overall, the mission is well done icon14.gif . I would say that this mission needs a little more depth like having a witten storyline with more animations on it. Otherwise, keep up the good work for the author. biggrin.gif .

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review a mission made by VideoGameFan4 called Broken Dreams .

The mission can be downloaded at http://dyom.gtagames...ct=show&id=7351.

Now, it's time for the review,

- Writing:
Excellent .
Nice foggy and rainy effects in order to add the overall atmosphere.
- Length: Long , as it can be done in 17 minutes. The player plays as a hiking man called John, decides to take a hike at Mount Chilliad and it's surroundings. There's many unusual twisted events going on there and the ending, without spoiling it, is somewhat unexpected when compared to most endings to this mission theme. Most of the mission consists of traveling into objective checkpoints which are very far apart at each other, especially at the Mount Chilliad part.
- Difficulty: Medium , the enemies carry non-armed weapons. Sometimes, they fight against the player on a 1 vs. 1 fight, or they come in group of 4 enemies at the same time at certain points in this mission. They can killed easily as the player have a long range weapon as an advantage, but they also have huge amounts of HP (1000) which makes them highly persistent.
- Variety: Very Good amount of character models such as John, the enemies as different normal peds with weapons like chainsaws, knife, silenced pistol and shotgun and two different vehicles to travel through the whole mission.

Overall, I found the mission interesting, particularly because of the detailed storyline icon14.gif . As the author described at the mission link: "Fans of the Silent Hill series will LOVE this mission, as I took many things from various Silent Hill games. Including the title.", this mission is indeed inspired to the Silent Hill video game series. As for the question he sent to me about if I understood the whole storyline: I would say "yes", though for some people who aren't familiar about the theme, might be confused about it. Anyways, good job for the author to make this mission and keep up the good work biggrin.gif .

- Presentation : Excellent . Accurate viewing angle between different cutscenes. Some scripted parts of the missions are just cool to watch it, such as the enemy truck that tries to collide into your defense at the "Unwelcomed Guests" mission.

The Snitch:
- Length: Very Good , as it can be done in 9 minutes. The player John has been tasked by his brother Vinnie to kill a betrayer named Jimmy at Palomino Creek Town Cafe. Things aren't that easy as the FBI guards assist to Jimmy's defense.
- Difficulty: Hard . The enemies carry mainly a pistol but has very strong accuracies. Not to mention that the main gunfight happens in a narrow alleyway and that some enemies are very well hidden, throw the player off-guard. The player also has to escape a 2 star wanted level, so know your surroundings carefully.
- Variety: Very good amount of character models such as John, Vinnie, Jimmy and the FBI guards carrying weapons such as pistol and micro-uzi with objects that add more depth and strategy during the gunfights.

Bop 'n Roll!:
- Length: Good , as it can be done in 6 minutes. The player John has been tasked by Selvis, an Elvis wannabe, to kill Jackson and his goons, who also look like Elvis at Alahambra club near downtown los santos.
- Difficulty: Hard . There's a brawl fighting which John and Selvis are against Jackson's goons. At the gunfighting part, the enemies mostly carry pistols with very strong accuracies and as they're everywhere in different directions, the player must find a safe area quick.
- Variety: Good amount of character models with John and the 3 different Elvis models carrying weapons such as pistols, mp5s, metal knuckles and baseball bats.

Unwelcomed Guests:

- Length: Decent , as it can be done in 4 minutes. The player John has been tasked by Vinnie to defend his mansion against the Unwelcomed Guests by going at the rooftop of the mansion.
- Difficulty: Medium . The player carries a country rifle, a long-range weapon which is effective against the wave of enemies that try to destroy the mansion with mostly molotov cocktails.
- Variety: Excellent amount of character models such as John, Vinnie and different ped models as the enemies with weapons such as country rifle, molotov cocktails, assault rifles and objects such as explosive barrels, crates and ramps to make the enemy truck "jump".

Overall I like the series storyline and missions a lot icon14.gif icon14.gif . I like about how the progression of the missions makes John to become a more reliable person for Vinnie and his friends in order to solve their problems. Good job Tug66666 and keep up the good work biggrin.gif .

Hello everyone,

Today, I'm going to review 3 missions made by Chimpso. They're part of the SAPD chronicles storyline.

The mission can be downloaded at: http://www.gtaforums...howtopic=444547.

Let's start the review right away...

- Writing: Very Good . Although there's some typing mistakes, it isn't a very big deal. It is comprehensive and detailed enough to understand what the missions is all about.
- Presentation: Excellent . Nice viewing came angle between different cutscenes. There's some very cool cutscenes such as the one police officer that has been gunned down by a sniper and one enemy that was falling from a very high altitude object, both from the "End of the Rope" mission.

Short end of the Stick:
- Length: Excellent , as it can be done in 10 minutes. The player as officer James has been tasked by officer Blackmore to kill the San Fierro Rifa gang outside and inside of warehouse, west of Doherty, San Fierro by sniping from a rooftop and to infiltrate inside their base.
- Difficulty: Medium . The enemies have very strong accuracies and a few of them are positioned where they can annoy the player if he left it unnoticed. Fortunately, the player is initially equipped with a sniper. The interior gun fighting part can be tricky too, proceed with caution.
- Variety: Very good amount of characters which includes the Officers James, Gerard and Blackmore and the rifas with weapons such as sniper, micro-uzi, desert eagle and ak-47.

End of the Rope:
- Length: Good , as it can be done in 6 minutes. The player Officer James has been tasked by Blackmore to do one more task which unfortunately, before he can give the speech, has been sniped by a Rifa lieutenant called Carlito. James must avenge Blackmore's death by attacking the Rifas with the Triad's help.
- Difficulty: Easy . The enemies have average accuracies and the player also have like 5 triad allies assisting him during the heavy gunfights. Watch out to the explosive cars at the beginning of the mission though.
- Variety: Excellent amount of character models including James, Gerard, Blackmore, a SFPD secretary, the San Fierro Rifa and the triads with weapons like snipers, ak-47, mp5, micro-uzi, desert eagles, vehicles such as motorbike, car and the police helicopter and objects such as the construction crane.

See the Light:
- Length: Good , as it can be done in 6 minutes. The player James and Gerard are thinking to investigate Jizzy pleasure dome club in San Fierro. James to decides to go directly to the dome by himself and a bodyguard near the entrance intercepts him. Unfortunately, the bodyguards want to kill him so he must escape to a safe place with a speedboat.
- Difficulty: Medium . The mission mainly consists of escaping away from the bodyguards, so expect for some objective checkpoints to go through. Do not stop moving, otherwise the enemies will kill you easily, especially those equipped with rocket launchers.
- Variety: Very good amount of character models such as James, Gerard and the different bodyguards models with weapons such as desert eagle, shotgun, combat shotgun, pistol, SMGs and rocket launchers and vehicles such as the police car and the mini speed-boat.

Overall the missions are interesting both in gameplay and storyline icon14.gif . The mission that suprises me the most is the "End of the Rope" mission because of the cool cutscenes. Good job and keep up the good work biggrin.gif .
