You should start some IV trucks
Understandable if you don't want to.
Or maybe Helicopters if you are capable.

Is this going to be a fixed school bus colour, or is it tweakable, like with templates?
Posted 08 June 2010 - 12:31 PM
@XTREME0235: I have a Peterbilt 2005 but it's not finished yet. It need suspension but i lost interest with it for now. Maybe i'll comeback with this project later. I have no knowledge and interest to do an helicopter.
@Schaefft: The bus is a long time project. We've never seen a real american model school bus in game and now we'll have one. It would be fun to see it in IV but i can't do it myself because of my crappy laptop. So if you know a good one just let me know
@Rob.Zombie: I know it's not like a sport car but the point here is just to add a bit of realism to the game. I see a dozen of these Blue Bird flat nose busses every day. They are very common so it would be fun to see them in game.
@JJJ8: I dunno yet if it will be tweakable but for now it's a 2 color (yellow, black) and you can change it. Maybe i'll do templates to do an Army, Police, Prison or Fire Dept bus.

I would love to see it in IV and i'm interested in the Army, Police, Prison and Fire Dept versions of the bus.

But it totally lies on your hand, so even if it stays like the current version, it's still good and cool

As suggestion you could make wheel arch smoother.

They aren't finished yet and there's a black plastic cover over the edge of them. For now is't just a global shape I'll do them tonight and more pics will follow.

|Hello my people. Few updates but not much. Front of the bus is done exept BLUE BIRD letters on the hood. A couple mirrors are missing in the front. The back bumper is just for viewing purpose. I will re-do it! These wheels are not mine but waiting authorisation to keep them. Again just for an idea what it will look like. The right side is just a mirror of the left side for now. Take a look.|
Wow, it looks awesome....and I love the wheels! Keep up the good work!

@PCM_Bxbugs123: Thanks mate. Sure i will need help to convert it for IV because my laptop can't handle the game very well. We can check for an alternate version too like Police, Prison and Army.
@Sylvania: All textures you see there will be redone exept the warning lights on the top. The headlights are ugly i know. I have to make a template for all of them. The STOP sign is the best that i found but i'll search deeper for a better one

|What can I say, its looking great like always, I love the model Im just wondering how the guy wants to get up a hill with the rearaxle placed on that position.|
Hum!! I must admit that it looks strange!! I have checked some pics on Google but Blue Bird buses are very differents from one to another. They are very customisable. The rear axle seems to be placed right between the 4th and the 5th window from the back but some buses have larger windows than others. The school year will end tomorrow so there will not much buses on the road till automn. I'll go to the school bus depot to check for it
Now just a little update today before going to work. Side door is done, rear door handle shaved right mirrors adjusted and like Schaefft said rear axle moved to the back. 4 new pics for you. Enjoy!
