I might be going a bit mad but junk the crap 3-spokes for a set of CCWs or BBS and I'd be all over that Supra.

I agree there's something ALMOST appealing about it, like an FTO or a Fiat Coupe, but the massive scoops are what kill it for me. :p

You do know that Porsche is a 1:1 scale pedal car right?

It's also f*cking awesome.

And call me crazy, but I actually quite like that M3...

Edit: Wait, that was before I saw the super ugly interior!!!

The interior is the least bad bit of that M3. The rear arches are truly awful.

Ok yeah, you're right. It looks different on my phone, but now that I've seen the full car on my pc, it doesn't look that good anymore haha. I still don't think it's the ugliest thing ever, but it's way too over the top...

The interior, lambo-style doors, massive rear wing, everything.

I don't mind the Beamer or the Supra. Though I wouldn't want that M3 in gold. And I would probably fix that rear arch.

I'd like the Porsche more if the body was smooth, painted and had the badges and stuff... Oh, and actual Porsche or imitation Porsche rims. Skinny tires just don't look good on a 911.  :p

You ever pedal 10 inch wide tires on large aluminum wheels?

I think the body is actually foil over cardboard on a PVC frame.

I think they did a great job and everything else is just superfluous (and more expensive :p)

To me it just looks like a bunch of mis-matched designs thrown together.  The front is round and bubbly.  The side is a little more chiseled.  And the rear is kind of a mix of both.  It just looks weird.

I don't like the new Charger.

slide_0003.png

Yea the Charger was going a good direction but it's just starting to look sort of vulgar.

I love where the Chrysler 300 has been going.

Classy but not understated.

*New Beetle*

My parents almost bought this pile of elephant excrement six months ago, I even saw it in my driveway, needless to say my stomach did not hold my lunch after that.

And what exactly makes the New Beetle a "pile of elephant excrement"? The fact that it doesn't have a screaming, overpowered V8 engine? (Useless for anything but the track anyways.) The fact that it's front wheel drive? (Which is better for city driving even if it means slower track times.) It's not ugly, not by any means, and it sparked something of a revolution in the automotive industry when it was released in 1998, followed quickly by the new Mini and PT Cruiser in 2000, the Mustang in 2005, the Charger and 300C in 2006, the Fiat 500 in 2007... Say what you will about the designs it spawned, but it left an impact for sure.

So maybe it all comes down to personal opinion, but no, it's far from "excrement'.

Keeping in line with the theme of the topic, have these.

How did a beetle inspire those cars?

A Porsche would be way more relevant in that argument.

And unfortunately beauty is all opinion.

I'd much rather have a Golf for the same price.

First of the "retro" designs. The Golf is okay, but comparatively it's just another hatch. The Beetle is unique. :p

Ford Bronco concept. An ugly rendition of the Toyota FJ.

2016-Ford-SVT-Bronco--1--front-three-qua

The final product looks a little better. Just needs a different paint job.

The news that Ford was building the 2016 Bronco and that it would be released in 2015 was just an April Fools joke. From what I could gather, they apparently cancelled their plans for the Bronco to focus on the Expedition SUV and the F-series pickup trucks.

Na, I'm with Arctic on this one. Plastic chrome, wheels from a piece of furniture , odd proportions and a front end like a house brick.

That is absolutely hideous!

And while trying to find out more about the Egoista, I stumbled upon another hideous Lamborghini...

The Lamborghini LM002, aka the Rambo Lambo!

800px-Lambo_LM_002_1.jpg

I never knew Lamborghini made vehicles like this. Not as hideous as the Egoista though, that's for damn sure haha!

Wow you didn't know about the LM002? It has a ton of history behind it. We almost had LM002 instead of Humvees had then been more reliable.

I've never seen or heard about it before, no.

Lamborghini's next SUV, the Urus, is even worse in my opinion. Even though it is still a concept, Lamborghini's CEO confirmed late last year that it will go into production, unfortunately...

LM002 is a cool vehicle, it may not be gorgeous, but it's tough and as far as utility type vehicles go, pretty damn luxorious inside.

Very interesting to read about too, especially the prototypes.
