Neither PC is overly great, however they should run San Andreas. Don't expect to run GTA IV on them though.

The second one will run SA better, as the first one has an AMD Sempron processor, and from experiance, with an Sempron processor, you will only get around 10-15fps. That is the processor my old XP laptop has, and that is all it gets with SA and it only gets around 20fps max. with III and VC. If that is the results on XP, I doubt it will even run on Windows 7 with a Sempron processor.? you'll be a lot better off saving your money and getting a PC that has higher specs.-I mean for example, Wal-Mart.com has A LOT of low price laptops and desktops that have higher specs than what you posted.

But, neither PC is capable of running IV or the EFLC.

I've got 5-year old Toshiba Satellite. Running SA on medium settings is not a problem. I am on XP, but suppose installing Kubuntu will make it even faster.

I have seen Quad core machines run SA like crap because they always seem to put a total crap video card (often times integrated chip)in them. If my fps is not = the refresh rate there's that dizzy/drunk feeling you always seem to get when panning the camera.
