Hey everyone,
i have recently made my first mod for gta,
it is a sound mod for any tuned Mazda rx-7

this mod came out extremely well so i decided to go and release it on gta garage

if some people can test it out and post back here to let me know if you like it i might make some more sounds in the neer future to the same quality.

Its for San andreas, i wont bother making a video for just that simply because i dont have the right programs right now.

if you could just install for a bit and test it out that would be great ? :]

Please can some people try this mod out?, i really want to know what people think of it so i can decide weather to make more in future.

i would like to do some sounds for a nissan sr20DET motor but wont bother unless people like thse ones please :]

I tested this mod and there were some bugs....

like when i get out of the car, the foot steps were car revs, and when people honked their horns, they were car revs as welll... also there is the whole thing with the engine idle... it was like tzzzztzzzzztzzzz but those are normal issues with sound mods and the only way to fix that is to make sure the sound files are the EXACT same length as the original file, and the same quality as well... Other than that its a good mod. The acceleration transitions sound perfect

well septakid audio bugs caused by sound mods do happen, watever sound mod u installed, so its not really the problem of this mod dozingoff.gif

Thanks, i dont have any sound mods other than this one so it was fine.

Ive had the footsteps and horn problems before, i think it happens when you stick loads of sound mods in at once.

the quality is part of the problem, it's 44100 Hz and it should be 18000 Hz

Also the length of file Bank_002/sound_001.wav is 3.036 seconds and it should be 3.500 seconds.

like was said earlier, it has to be the EXACT length down to the millisecond! And the quality has to be the same as well when you make sound mods or it will do that tzzztzzztzzzz and the horn will be car revs...

Just wonderin' if you have managed to fix this mod yet; I'm hopin' to put the sound (once its fixed) in San Andreas with this car here :

ill be making v2 someday, just depends when i can upgrade my motherboard and graphics card, my pc still has agp slots :L and theyre crap.

That car looks nice but u can get nicer kits, i think they look nicer with their pop up lights and black tail lights. they look sooo nice lol

Ive started making new sounds on my laptop, so i wont be able to test them out because GTA wont run on it.

so im going to need someone to test them out when they are finnished.

one thing i need to know is how to change the frequency of the sounds?
as septakid said; it's 44100 Hz and it should be 18000 Hz

well if you use Audacity to edit the files, it should say the frequency at the bottom right hand side of the screen. You can just edit the number and it will change it for you

And I'll be okay with testing your mods for you

Oh k thanks, i did use audacity to make them but never noticed that.

i may have some sounds for testing in a few weeks, i dont have alot of time to make them. im out riding the skate park most of the time.
