GTA: Protox Astra

Protagonist: Bryce Callatis
Nationality: British

The game is set up in 2015, on the shiny Europa, one of Jupiter's moons, but players may also travel to Callisto, another Jovian moon.

(Jovian = something that comes from Jupiter, it's like Terra > Terran......so, Jupiter > Jovian)

PROTAGONIST'S STORY:
20-year old Bryce Callatis was working for FBI back on Earth, now destroyed by the 2012 Apocalypse, so he had to move to Europa, where he continued working for the JMD (Jovian Military Department). Bryce has access to FBI trucks, SWAT tanks, Panzers, every military vehicle imported from Earth. He has got a wife, Emma Callatis, and two children: Tony Callatis and Rose Callatis.

ACTIVITIES:
Darts
Pool
Space Shuttle Piloting
Bowling
Military Warship Weapons Specialist >>>> this activity is available during civilization wars
Play a sport with your son (ehhh, 2-players sports?)
Take your daughter for a walk (yes, it's annoying and childish)
Callistocopter Tour

CIVILIZATION WARS:
There are two other civilizations you will fight with during GTA: Protox Astra:
> Spaceghouls - creatures with a zombie-like body, who can walk through walls. They have got weak weapons, but they are killed very hard (@5-7 RPG shots)
> Protoss - creatures with robot-like bodies, with strong weapons but low health points (1 RPG shot is enough to kill them)

WEAPONS:
Desert Eagle
RPG
M4A1 - with silencer
Silenced Pistol
AK47
AWP sniper rifle
Phazer (electric guns)
Laser Guns
Grenade Launcher
Sawed-Off Shotgun
Grenades & Smoke Grenades & Flashbangs

VEHICLES:
Bikes
Enterprise > a bike with no wheels, you actually.......fly with it!
Spacecrafts
Wraith (a.k.a Military Warship)
Battlecruiser (the greatest spacecraft in the game, unlocked at 100% game completion)
Interceptor (smaller warship used for raids)
Military Terran Vehicles
FBI Truck
SWAT Tank
Panzer (a.k.a Rhino)
Roadblocker (giant truck which can block the entire road)
Terran Common Vehicles
Infernus
Comet
Buffalo
Turismo
Cavalcade
Blista Compact
Vortex (the hybrid vehicle from SA)
Rancher
Landstalker
Moonstalker (used to walk through craters)
Admiral
Coach
Tahoma
Greenwood (if it ain't broke, don't fix it!)
Helicopters
Skylift
Swift
Hunter
Sky Crane
Maverick
Planes
Hydra
AT-400
Andromada
Dodo
Shamal

TO BE CONTINUED. Please comment!

my first thoughts are its so un-GTA its unreal.

Yes, you could make a fantastic video game out of it, i like the whole video game concept. but is it right for a GTA title? Id have to say no.

this is where we need a non-GTA video games concept section of the forum, this could be a good concept there.

Sounds like a great game and all, but it just isn't GTA. The GTA series are all about crime on the streets, not about spaceships and planets. R* would have to be insane to go down this sci-fi route.

I agree with your whole post.

Keep GTA within the bounds of reality - and atleast the warped sense of reality SA had, although in my opinion, preferrably a maximum of IV's realism.

yep, hit the realism-band-width nail on the head there. icon14.gif

unfortunatly, this idea goes outside of that band-width for a GTA.

Lol shooting up carebears would be so fun lol.gif

Would this idea work? Under its own title, yes. As part of the GTA series? NO.

Pretty good though it wouldn't make a good a GTA game though it would be a cool non-GTA sandbox game.
