Chelsea sign Marco van Ginkel

He's already been touted as the next Frank Lampard. I doubt he could live up to Lamps, but he's young and could be a great return for us.

Neville and Giggs together as coaches. They resemble a married couple.

Talking of oldies, I see Le Sulk is on his way back to England again this time to play for the Baggies, seriously he's had more clubs than a baby seal.

Why are Croatia rated higher than Brazil? FIFA's rankings are always really strange..

I know Columbia is doing well right now, but do they really deserve to be third?

Because we don't play FIFA Qualifying matches... hence it had been since the 2010 WC since we didn't play an official FIFA match and we dropped to 22nd... now with the Confed. Cup win we're back to 9th.

And how the f*ck is Colombia 3rd? I mean, I knew they were doing well in the South American Qualifying, but damn...

The only rankings I take notice of are elo ratings. They're far more accurate.

Current top 30 elo rankings:

1 Brazil
2 Spain
3 Germany
4 Netherlands
5 Argentina
6 England
7 Italy
8 Colombia
9 Portugal
10 Russia
11 Croatia
12 Ecuador
13 Uruguay
14 France
15 Mexico
16 Ivory Coast
17 Chile
18 Sweden
19 Belgium
20 Switzerland
21 US
22 Bosnia
23 Greece
24 Ukraine
25 Australia
26 Peru
27 Czech Republic
28 Costa Rica
29 Ireland
30 Japan

That's more like it...

One of the worst I've seen. barf8bd.gif It would make a decent dishcloth at least.

FIFA rankings have always been inaccurate. Everybody has different opinions I get that, but their's seems way off.

The one with the odd socks? barf8bd.gif Still think the away one is worse. Warrior Sports, pffft. Vinnie K has signed with them as well. I expect him to be wearing these...

Seems it is Negredo we're going after. Never watch(ed) him play so not gonna conjure up an opinion. But hear he was the 7th Top Scorer in Europe last season?

Luckily we get the sponsorship money straight up and it's up to Warrior to recoup those sales. Imagine the OCD in the dressing room when everyone has got their odd sock on the wrong way round.

Home kits are pretty much spot on, dunno why they have to take LSD to design the away and third kits.

Exactly. FFP has brought it to this. I would have had City stick with Umbro over Nike any day of the week (despite this season's kits actually looking pretty nice).

I believe this will be a good season for Liverpool FC... at least, a better one than the 2012-13 one confused.gif

As for my team, Panathinaikos... we'll be lucky to avoid relegation confused.gif confused.gif confused.gif

Psst Umbro is owned by Nike, so it's a (Lancashire) rose by any other name, still haven't seen the confirmed City Away or Third kits yet, the previous 'leaked' ones were apparently taken from:

Which was some guy who does mock ups. The same guy also has done these which to me look miles better than what we actually do have:

I like those ones, I like the theme they have, the pattern and colours.

I've got this years Home kit, and it's not bad, the only issue I have with the size I've got is that it's quite long for the size and the bottom of it should have small slits on the sides as it tends to tighten up at the hem... Next week on shopping with Gok Wan...

I know that but I don't think Nike have much of, or any, say in Umbro's designs, which I loved (minus last season's home kit, the blue was too faded).

Regarding a third kit, I hear this is it...

At first I thought it was a bunch of people, then I saw those 2 at the bottom and realised they'd have to be giants. What is it actually made up of? Flowers? It does seem a bit of a stupid way to reveal a new shirt, it probably looks way different in proper shirt form.
