| I have my own methods on naming 'em, you see..|
Well, we know how we named Richmond Island (Staten Island is in Richmond State), but take Ridgepeck, the new neighborhood in Alderney..
It is based on Teaneck in New Jersey, and to be honest I first named Ridgepeck as Ridgeneck. Teaneck.
Anyways, I was looking for the first part of the name by simply Wikipedia'ing it and this is what I found:
| Teaneck was created on February 19, 1895 by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature. Teaneck was formed from portions of Englewood Township and Ridgefield Township, both of which are now defunct. |
Then I just added Ridge there and decided to be ultra-creative and change the n to a p. Simple as that.
