How to modify the GTASA headlight?

If any could help me? I have this project on editing the gta sa headlight...user posted image I wanted to change to become more realistic...

you can find the texture in models/particle.txd
and the texture is called 'headlight'

using paint, photoshop, gimp and any other image manipulation softwares

hey bro i used photoshop cs6 to change the colours via the hue n saturation
n even the brush saved them in 32 bit bmp file but an error occured
"STREAM READ ERROR"
what to do now??
can you provide me a link to some video??
