Very nice project.

VC is still my favourite GTA, I wish I could help.

I got much time from june, when this project is still in dev (I hope so!) i will help.

Maybe a idea to add the VCS radio stations ? VCR's script is fully editable, I can even do this if u guys want?

Another idea, for the time bieng maybe u can use these trees:



I can send them to you (who is the project leader?) if u want. Some palms have a weird flicker bug.
They even move because of the wind.

Nice work. Do you think you could upload the trees at least?

The default ones are too 2D (low poly) for Rage.

Come to think of it the old VC trees were from a time when using 3d trees just became more common. I'm sure everyone remembers when games had trees that were flat polygons that rotated with the camera.

I know. It would be like IV SA though.

GTA VC HD should team up with GTA III Rage. That way they can combine the mods for EFLC, but release them separately on IV. EFLC version would be like the GTA III/VC trilogy in HD.

I'd rather keep the hype and interest growing.

That's the reason why most modders release betas. If it were 1 full release, it would be forgotten because it isn't a public game

I'm not saying there won't be betas, but releasing chunks of the mod at a time actually loses interest. For past experience this is the best way to go.

Double Pack I mean.

IV:SA has HD trees. It wouldn't be HD enough to fit in the pack, and EFLC can do two separate games, unless you manage to get it to allow GTA IV to load also.

yea, but wouldn't be better if you change the grass texture ? you can change it to gta 4 grass, gta 4 grass will look great with these tree textures biggrin.gif

I have to be honest, even though the VCR timecyc creates the atmosphere very well, its WAY to saturated (mostly during the day, but I like the nights). You should use a different timecyc for this mod. I'm going to see how the Ghostown timecyc looks.

To get the HD feeling are the textures all being remade? I'm a little confused. There's so many mods all converting like this, be much better if all the teams clubbed together, be done in half the time.

Just tried it out. The Ghostown timecyc doesn't look as good on VC as it does on Ghostown.

I think that the timecyc should be tweaked. Lower the saturation down is the main thing I would say.

If you complain so much i could help with the timecyc i know how to edit and make 1.Depends what you want also can remove little bloom to add realism.For saturation can be done aswell.

You should cut the mesh above the "IV" hands and attach the hands to the VC smoothed model. It looks like he dislocated his hands from their sockets. I can kinda imagine him running with his hands flabbing around as he screams in pain. Also: The edges on the shirt as way too round, and the shoes are edgy in the middle. Attach those polygons to give it that "smooth" look.

I didn't said anything about the autor, but yeah i knew that Vakooja did the texture, i remember the VC/SA Mod. Congrats to Bammargera, Vakooja (and Bzdun, i think).
