for GTA IV and EFLC

"This awesome mod adds the full World Trade Center complex in GTA IV or EFLC, in the southern Algonquin.
It has been congratulated many times for its realism, its conformity, its quality and its precision.

This sixth version of the World Trade Center mod completely changes the visage of the WTC complex it had until now in GTA.

The plaza is more beautiful than ever ! The WTC 4, 5 and 6 have finally been added and the plaza layout has been perfectly reconstituted !
You can walk on the plaza, buy a drink, relax next to the fountain or admire the plaza sculptures…

But the plaza is not the only update of this new version. The south bridge has been improved as well, and new WTC 2 observation deck will make you gasp !
Observe the whole Liberty City from its highest point of view ! You can also use one of the several telescopes to zoom in on whatever you want !

Some bugs have been fixed again to bring to you the most powerful GTA IV mod ever."

Dude, that would be awesome... I don't know but i think that theres is a mod of parachute or something... jump from this building must sick.

I won't make an high detailled model because the towers are hudge and i will try to use less polygons as possible... I don't want to slow the game^^

Couldn't you model some floors on which the player and the generated pedestrians are able to walk. So there would be a life inside of the towers and it would be more realistic. Then you could also do the lifts inside of the building. Not like the Rotterdam Tower / Empire State Building in the game.

What about cols , it wont be solid...
I know how to get it ingame to IV but there wouldnt be cols.

Are you speaking about shadow mapper ? Because they are no cols yet, but soon normally smile.gif

Hello hbx84, to be honest, i am actually looking forward to seeing these two amazing buildings be completed, but the position is a bit of a confusion for me, what i mean is, where abouts on the map (in Algonquin of course) would you position it?

I'm thinking where the construction site is near the helitours or you could make room for where the actual position is in real life.

All in all, i am looking forward to this as i said before and can not wait until it is finished, good luck & keep up the good work. icon14.gif

There are two solutions.

Either I remove two buildings in this part of Manhattan, which corresponds about to reality

Either I straightforwardly remove all this part and I reconstitute the place of the WTC more or less. This second solution would be more appropriate because that would be more real and that would remove much polygon due to the buildings…. The problem is I do not know if we can change the trajectory of the roads… confused.gif

Man your making this tower very quick. You could make a whole new city in one week lol. But if youre worried about an overload of polygons leading to lower perfomance, you could make the tower from different parts so that view distance wont load the whole tower at the same time.

Actually my tower does about 52000 polys and when will be finidhed it will do about 55000 max I think...

I don't if it is too much or not. I can optimize it a little and I will delete some original buildings so it will do less polygons...

I use 3Ds max. I have made the antenna, doesn't look like the reality completly, because i try to use less polys as possible smile.gif

This is actually nice, albeit a bit controversial should this mod go mainstream. I've seen cops reacting to the Crown Vic mods posted all over Youtube, but I hope this doesn't generate some negative reactions or something.

Really great work. There is a hotel in GTA IV, not sure, but I think it's called Majestic. It's in the near of the middle park and there it's possible in one mission to go to the uppest floor and in a suite. Couldn't you make a floor or some enterable shops very high in the building? I don't know how the WTC looked inside but I think a life with persons etc. inside would be fantasically. So you could improve the building more and more for example removing a window to get into the building with the window cleaner platform from the outside (a platform like this is already in GTA IV). You could choose where you want to go when you are entering a lift (e.g. "Tourist platform; 70th floor; 1st floor" -> 3 possibilities).

//E: Is it possible that you re importing Sketchup models into your project file? So I could model a floor with shops etc. (without textures).

D$ 17 : its a good idea^^ i will make the tower and after if all is okay i will make a lot of things because i want the WTC to become the most attractive place in LC, where we could spend a lot of time^^

and you can export files in .3ds in sketchup and i can read them.
