Well whatever the music used in V. I would be happy if you can listen to music off of your hard drive. Like the SA X-box 1. Where one of the radio station was a user station and played all your saved music. I was bummed when I learned that IV PS3 doesn't support this feature.

Pleas Rockstar make some Neo-psychedelia/ Experimental/Synthpop/ Psych-folk /Trip hop station. I want to cruise down the road listening to Animal Collective, Dungen, MGMT, Grizzly Bear, Panda Bear, tame impala or maybe even MeW.

And you got a real mixed taste junkie2115; Slayer, Black Eye Peas, The Game, Sonic Youth and Nirvana?

Im a huge rap music & GTA music fan even in my iPod i got Playlists named Game Radio , Liberty Jam 101.3 , Playback FM , Radio Los Santos & The Classics i also have Beat 102.7 just to say i got it
i turned out to other stations such as Vibe 98.2 (R&B is cool so i don't mind) , K109 , Fusion FM , JNR & LRR if wasn't connecting a Flash-drive to my Xbox 360 (Since the iPod touch doesn't work with the Xbox OS)

It depends on the city ........... if San Andreas, then a lot of Gangsta Rap and sh*t like that ....... if Vice City, then Electro, House, Hip-Hop and 1 or 2 80's Radio Stations.

PS: If it's another city, then let R* choose the music.

I really would like all types of music stations. Yes, even mainstream pop, it's just a thing, I don't like it, but I'll listen to it occasionally, and in IV, I really didn't like rap or Spanish music, so all I really had to listen to was LRR, Radio Broker, and Integrity 2.0. So yeah, I wouldn't mind a mainstream pop, or like a Top-40 radio. Or maybe even just a mix of current songs.

And like what most people say, we should be able to have our own radio station. I was thinking be able to connect to our iTunes.

Tricky - Run DMC
Bring the Noise - Public enemy Feat. Antrax
cool.gif put your song list or whatever songs you want on GTA V

lol, skindread...Jamaican screamo is funny
GTA V should have more Underground music, for three reasons:
1. Mainstream SUCKS
2. and It would make the cost much higher
3.Mainstream gets overplayed and for this reason it gets old, repetitive quickly thus making the game seem outdated quickly.
I think that GTA has potential to be excellent for music if it contains underground and somewhat underground songs... this means NO Lil wanye, Drake, Black eyed Peas, POP, ect.
needs to have some:
you got a mouth- Mean Tangerine
Dimonds aren't forever-Bring Me the Horizon
Super meat freeze- Mord Fustang
NJ Legion Iced Tea- A Day to remember
The downfall of us all- A Day to remember
Clint Eastwood- gorillaz
Terrorist- Lowkey
Obama nation- Lowkey
gone for a long time- The Johnstones
Muse Breaks- Infected mushroom
smells like Teen Spirit- Nirvana
come as you are- Nirvana
breakfast in America- Super tramp
no no no- Yeah Yeah Yeahs
seven nation Army- The white stripes
Valarie Plame- The Decemberist
inis Mona- Eluveitie
ghost- Tupac
Office- Pepper
Is there anybody out there?- BCee feat. S.P.Y.
Giants in the Ocean- Sky eats Airplane

there is 21 good songs that are not songs that the average person will hear in a day.
I would not be surprised if many of you have not heard most of these songs, if that is the case then give them a listen.

Ohh man! you sooo cool!!

There's often a good reason "mainstream " become mainstream. Yes sometimes it's because alot of money went into branding an PR, but sometimes it's because the music is really good.

And don't make it out like your the hippest of hipsters, the coolest of catz! Several of the track you choose a considered pretty mainstream, I mean gorillaz, Nirvana and Super tramp are some of the last tree decades biggest bands, not exactly"underground"

And also, Rockstar has always been good at mixing the radio, and they often use alot of mainstream bands, they just go around the biggest hits.

And again, "smells like Teen Spirit- Nirvana" Really........ Not like it's some super secret gem, but properly the most played piece of 90's rock ever.

Well, not the current mainstream, no Lady Gaga, Kesha, or Bruno Mars, I was thinking older mainstream, maybe the 2004-2009 range, before it all turned into failure wannabe club music.

Haha @aloman yeah, I forgot Tupac, Nirvana, Gorillaz, SuperTramp, Bring Me the Horizon, A Day to Remember, Yeah Yeah Yeahs are totally NOT mainstream. Anyways, if you wanna say "No Lady Gaga" and whatever the hell you mean don't say "NO MAINSTREAM" because there is SOME good mainstream music.

Anyway- Some Rise Against, Alexisonfire, Arcade Fire, Cage the Elephant (Ain't No Rest for the wicked" and "Shake me Down"), The Clash, Danzig, The Dirty Heads, The Doors, "Shipping up to Boston" by The Dropkick Murphys, IllScarlett, MGMT, Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Social Distortion, SOAD, The Tragically Hip, U2, Ubiquitous Synergy Seekers,

oh and off course

I'll post here what I posted in some other long-forgotten thread which served the same purpose:

Alternative Rock:
Death by Diamonds and Pearls - Band of Skulls: The first time I heard this song, I thought to myself, "this song sooo belongs in a GTA game". Can't really explain why, it's just a gut feeling.
Ulysses - Franz Ferdinand: I can imagine this being used in the trailer; footage of crap exploding edited to match the song's beat.
3's & 7's - Queens of the Stone Age: If only for the guitar, this song is one to drive fast to. Very fast. Preferably in a desert. San Andreas anyone?
Everyday I Love You Less and Less - Kaiser Chiefs: This song sounds mentally disturbed. Just perfect for going on a murderous rampage.

Classic Rock
The Witch - The Rattles: My reasoning for this would be the same as the Kaiser Chiefs one. You can feel your straitjacket tightening bit by bit throughout the song.
Sympathy for the Devil - The Rolling Stones: Just some good old classic rock, plain and simple. I can imagine it being played in the background in a Phnom Penh '86 style "shooting sh*t up out the side of helicopter like we're in 'Nam" mission.
Enter Sandman - Metallica: Not really "classic rock", yeah, but LRR in IV wasn't as much classic rock as "pre-2000 rock", but it worked. IMO, this song wouldn't sound out of place in TLaD's more heavy metal orientated LRR, or perhaps V-Rock if it was released five years earlier.
Blockbuster - Sweet: The song starts with a police siren and is about a criminal. Sounds GTA to me.
5-4-3-2-1 - Manfred Mann: Doesn't this song scream GTA London 1969 to you?

Electronic:
Gangster Tripping - Fatboy Slim: If, in some alternate dimension, GTA San Andreas had been set in England, this song would have been been in it. When a GTA set in Britain next appears (which trust me, it will; probably not for five years but it will), this song must be in it.
Acceptable in the 80s - Calvin Harris: This song would work well if GTA NeXt is set in a modern-day Vice City, as some fans believe. Then people can be like "lool its funni cos gta vice city was in the 80s and this game is liek that game but not in the 80s lololol", and all will be well.
Audacity of Huge - Simian Mobile Disco: This song is catchy as hell, which I think any good GTA song should be.
Propane Nightmares - Pendulum: The GTA series hasn't had any drum 'n' bass songs since III/LCS, so here's one that would also fit nicely on an alternative rock station.

Pop
Temptation - New Order: I predict that we will see another GTA set in the 1980s some time in the future, as it is an era that has so much to give to a crime game, even if GTA Vice City portrayed it so well. This song is the 1980s, as far as I'm concerned.
We Are the People - Empire of the Sun: GTA hasn't had a modern pop station since III/LCS, for good reason, as the only modern GTA after that was IV. It would feel wrong if a GTA game had a station of pop songs that were big at the time of release, as going back to replay the game, even a few months after release, would make it feel rather dated, like a Now That's What I Call Music CD; however, to me, GTA's parody of the different musical subcultures present in America wouldn't be complete without a way to spoof those who listen to pop. Rockstar got around this in III/LCS by making the pop bands themselves, but an alternative method would be the usage of indie pop to fill the pop shaped hole in the soundtrack of a modern GTA. The songs would have that pop feel to complete the span of genres available to listener, and also give the player the opportunity to discover new songs, which I feel Rockstar has always tried to do in their soundtracks. [/pointless waffle]
Our House - Madness: A different way of solving the pop problem would be the inclusion of an adult contemporary station. This would allow for a wide range of classic songs that wouldn't fit under the other station genres, similar to Vice City FM in EfLC, but not constrained to the 1980s. For this track in particular, it would be quite surreal to hear such a jolly and innocent song while on a rampage, which would match the tongue-in-cheek feel GTA radio often has (though nothing could match having a five star head police chase to that one gospel song in GTA 2).

In my opinion, i would like to see the return of "V-Rock" in this next GTA cool.gif ... but keeping the usual style as we know it: a crazy radio host, and of course: THE VULTURE!!!!

Here goes some songs that i would like to see... or hear... lol:

Def Leppard - Let It Go

Dio - Stand Up And Shout

Iron Maiden - Run To The Hills

Motorhead - Overkill

Scorpions - Dynamite

Airborne - Blackjack

... (they all have that "80's style"... huh biggrin.gif )

If all those songs would be on this next GTA, i would be very happy!! devil.gif

Come on, you gotta admit it would be awesome to play with that bad ass white boy who thinks he's black cos he got signed by Usher but is actually a 10 year old girl who would get beaten the sh*t out of if he went anywhere other than the "suburbs"
