I didn't like the Idea stealing your work without being credited hell I'd stop it if its going to continue so he cannot be feed by any updates made so he can't copy from what you made....
but also it'll be sad if this project is going to stop by some idiots who just copy and pasting....

hope that dumbass stop it.

I'm using gta_sa v 1.01
Mission marked man
Before patch game crashes when hitting car/two attacking cars.
What are bugs before patch?
When Phil kills last man in ambush(lockup) game crashes.

Are you sure thats not a collision problem? Never saw that happening in ordinary SA.

Edit: oh wait, i thought the lower part of the palm had no collision like some ppl have reported.

I found another problem on the mission "Marked Man":
When Phill/Vic kills all the enemies, after some 3 seconds the game crashes.
If necessary, I can send the dmp file.

First of all: I love that mod. I'm using it from "ancient" Beta 1 (there was only one mission and incomplete Vice City, but who cared). Also, I and all other Polish GTA players can be proud of you. biggrin.gif
Also, nice you uploaded fix for Beta 3. Fear The Repo crashes and "crazy ride through Trailer Park" bug were quite annoying (although Jerry's chair was funny tounge.gif). But now I have the same issue as RoxDox - at Marked Man mission game crashes after killing all Martinez guys (when chasing cars should spawn). I'll send you DMP file, just wait until I'll make account on MediaFire. wink.gif
And last thing: I can speak English quite good, but I think you should restore Polish language, like it was in Beta 2. Prove that it's still Polish mod. wink.gif

Ok guys...AFTER I INSTALLED THE UPDATES I completed the game and here is what i found out:

The first game crash i had was when i reached the warehouse in the ,,Boomshine Blowout''.After the cutscene the game crashed...when i reloaded the mission after loading my save game it didnt have a problem...here is the .dmp file from the crush: http://www.sendspace.com/file/h877o8

Another problem: When I played the mission ,,Truck Stop'' after stopping the truck and after Phil got in it he kept going in the wall !!! This is what happened: http://www.sendspace.com/file/5oxazy

Second game crash is after the mission ,,Marked Men''...after killing Martinez's men the game crashed...as i saw on an upper post another dude will give the .dmp file...

-As Rage is a badly ported engine from the Xbox 360, even III era maps lag eventually and have pop ins. It will take almost 9th generation hardware to run GTA IV PC flawlessly.
-No Rage TC will ever meet the quality of this TC, but maybe if its porting another Rage game like RDR.
-Now I understand how these guys feel about a Rage version and how it will only unmotivate them.
-As Rage completely changes the feel of the game it would be the same thing as Vice City Rage with Vic, VCS HUD and radio stations.

Rage TC's are not played for long. After a day or two, I'm board with them because all there is to do is drive around. Maybe there is races and gangwars in some, but they get repetitive fast. This one, its a week later and many people are still playing. Don't worry guys, it most likely wont get released. I haven't seen Johnathan make a TC to release. I'm wondering what happened with the Bully 2 TC. He will get board and start another one. Trust me, I used to be like this back when I first joined the forum.

I hope this mod will continue and eventually have the full VCS storyline. I hope this doesn't stop because someone wants a Rage version.

I would say VCR & IVSA had a really good run, IVSA statistics are still counting each day.

It CAN run without lag and pop ins. It's simply that every conversion does not do it 100% correctly, according to how R* did it. IV has been out for like 4\5 years now. Yes, it was and still is a sh*tty port. But with the latest patch and todays hardware it runs totally fine, you're overreacting.

That's even worse. Map won't fit inside the bounds; horses will move like humans; the amazing RDR time lapse and the less amazing timecyc from IV, it will never work out well. tounge.gif

I agree that rage conversions are over now. The interest in 3RC and VCR (beta 3) is relatively low, IVSA has quit cause we wanted to do something else.

Oh and as for him finishing and releasing VCS Rage, the chances are close to none. tounge.gif

I've installed the last updates, and the game runs smoothly. Amazing now, after new fixes. I've played just a little. The only bug still present that I remember was on the second mission - Phil's aiming the ground, and his mouth and Vic's bugged during the conversation. But it's becoming the definetive TC for SA.

game crashes after you do 16 taxi fairs. no crash report or error, just disappears from screen. icon is on start bar but can t continue.

Not really. It's old as hell game and it would make things pointlessly complicated.
