Edit: Soon it won't matter if Hack Man releases his tool. The original models will all be available soon, just in San Andreas DFF format. Besides which, if I were to use VC models in my mod, I'd prefer VC ones over VCS (unless I needed something from VCS that wasn't in VC).

I suppose that it's better to have all the original content.

I guess he want to convert VSC PC to RAGE.... Seriously people should stop with this idea, VCS PC have been entierly created for SA keeping the EXACT content of VCS to have the same game as PSP and PS2 version. The point of VCS isn't to improve graphics (ofc it will because of GTA SA PC version) and physics, NO, the point of this mod is re-create the entire game to the PC for people who don't have PSP or PS2 for exemple. Converting it to RAGE will be a big downgrade and will result a fail. nkjellman, maybe you didn't have this idea but i'm pretty sure you did.

I thought about it before, but now I think its stupid.

On Rage you probably would just have the map, which isn't that different from VC. Maybe the VCHD team could do some things like have a VCS add on that contains Vic, VCS hud, and VCS radio.

I don't plan to do anything except play and admire the work the VCS team put in. I hope this project never dies. smile.gif

Where did he say he would release it? Would be fun to play around with it but how does it benefit him or vcs team?

Yes, I'm talking about the wheels smile.gif These inconsistencies between cutscene and in-game models have been around since VC, so I'm not surprise that VCS has it too biggrin.gif

So by default they are extracted in the dull colour? I've noticed this a few times now such as when Luten did a straight convert of LittleHa, all the neons were dull, and the same with CP when he did DowntowS Rockstar Sign, again, it was duller and darker than it should have been, each one had to be corrected to get it looking like it does in the actual game.

Pretty sure it are the normal colors. SA neons also had these colors and for IV:SA it would just need the "emissivenight" shader to lit up at night. In III-era I think it was done by (night) vertex color brightness. biggrin.gif

i would like to answer this.

just look for LCS's PSP and PS2 versions. There is a huge graphical difference with the brightness, contrast and gamma.. Also really too much amount of saturation were used to make that lifeless GTA3 rendition bring back to life.

its the same with vcs. only with vcs, they figured out how big were the difference between LCS's versions, so they kept vcs's differences in a lower level.
