I have a bug where all mission voices are the default ones from San Andreas. Not in the actual full cutscenes, but in the ones after them (for example, the audio bugs would happen in the part where CJ walks up to the BMX instead of the cutscene where the police arrest CJ -- those sort of cutscenes).

That would be an error during Installation then where it failed to patch the archive with the new sounds for the SCRIPT file.

So what's up. Been away for a while. Still no hints from SA-MP forums on the MP adapt... which is sad cuz I wanted to continue my RP project on your mod, and with GTA V Online coming to PC in September I'll be making that my main game together with my clan, so I dont know...

I've seen you've made quite a lot of progress, map has advanced a lot that's nice. Keep on rocking guys cuz in case the MP mod ever makes an appearance I'll surely be playing it and scripting on it.

My thought exactly. If the mod get an MP adapt, then I would script an rp script for it, and if its in mta, ill learn lua to script for it.

I have just played it and everything works smoothly. I like the way you allow the player to choose the frame fps limiter. It runs smoothly for me at 60 fps even on my old GeForce 8800 GT with 3x Antialiasing. I would be great if Silent would allow us to do so in his next SA patch.

 

Nonetheless, there are still some little bugs here and there, but this is the beta version, so who cares. 

 

BTW, I have found "Boomshine Blowout" difficult, the factory explodes as I have the last box. I don't remember having problem on PSP, though.

Reduce FPS limit. Higher FPS might cause problems with timing in this mission.

Which ones exactly? If you're talking about the doors, the VCS ones have that weird effect due to them being compressed down and warping the lighting on them, plus the 4bit colour turning it into visible strands.

OH wait, I'm also showing off the remastered textures too, I thought that was obvious :p The second shots are both improved compression and remastered, I'll try and get some other shots up later of the rest of washingtonS.

You mean you're using absolutely identical textures with higher resolution from other games? If it blends in, that's great.

I thought we already explained this? :p Yes, we're bringing East Island back to the quality it should have been, as it was left with mainly PSP textures, so we're sourcing it from the PS2 version of Vice City with some from the PC version to and not letting it go past the PS2 limit (So you won't be seeing a lot of 256x textures here) so it all fits in visually with nothing standing out.

I have found a little bug; I don't know if it has already been signaled here so sorry if it has. In the mission "Fear the Repo," Marty should appear in-game after the cutscene but it is actually Phil, who has nothing to do with this mission by the way. Furthermore, I get crash when completing this mission. I am aware this is still beta but I prefer signal my issues.

Are you sure you're using an up to date version? The last version we put out has all the missions in that beta fixed and playable.

NOTE: I changed the backing brick colour so it matches the wall texture around the rest of the church so it doesn't stick out anymore, odd choice by Rockstar when they messed up that building, but hey ho, tried to fix it as best I could.

Indeed, I might have downloaded the wrong version. I believe I took the first link in the OP. Matter fact, the game warns me there is an update available but when I want to make it, the application crashes and tells me to contact the modders.

Have you forgotten it's Rockstar game?

 

In your game Go to "Options", then "Game Updates", and update your game. You'll have to do this a couple times until you see that your game is up to date.

I'd prefer using external updater so none of files to update are in use.

They don't match with the building, they are re-used from the Marina Car Park to save space, the ones I've already posted actually. The best place to show this error would be on the ramp on the top of the car park, it has the brown brick texture but the top surface and path are still grey, and there's no brown textures for those. Compare texture number order to, again, the brown textures fit in the numbering area for the Marina and Port, where as the rest of the Car Park textures fit in for that building slot. There's loads of these little instances where they've cut back on the East Island, so it's only fair to fix them whilst we can.

that and the brown ruins the color composition anyway, brown isn't a cool color and totally doesn't go with blue
