About local double-player, that would be pretty useful in duet missions like ones with Louise or Lance, but I don't see it comfortable to control two characters with one mouse and keyboard set. I think "keyboard+mouse / gamepad" or "gamepad / gamepad" would be good, if possible. Or driving Vic with keyboard and shooting Lance with mouse.


Yeah, keyboard & pad or pad & pad is probably the way to go.


I can't wait for this to be finished! I hope they convert Liberty City Stories as well!

Moar fixes! This time figured out by _DK.

Nah. They'll toggle on again without problems but when unlit, they appear too dark.

It's best seen on ZR-350:

Guys please help me , i just installed gta from this pc since the other one i had was very laggy cause of my bad proccesor

i fixed the d3dx9.dll thing but another problems appears

i go at vice city stories and the .dmp file apperas here , i saw some topics with same problems but all of them were closed from an admin which said to post here for these problems like dump :S

Add the game to DEP excludes.

And you might want to remove colormod so the game performs better.

how to remove the colormod?


Remove all 3 colormod files from the game directory, BUT update your game first (the very first version of Blue Hesper wanted to redownload it when removed).

in no way was I suggesting I would only donate if they do what I want, no one come close to the work they have done so far with any mod and I'm amazed with their work. I will donate but they were also saying that later down the road they would look into a donate with suggestions and they would look into it.

 

the liberty city stories thing is only a dream to me because it is the last game i need to complete my collection and it seems these guys are the only ones who could do it. 

 

Also I am willing to donate $60 for a lcs mod like this one and I'm sure other people are too.

 

 

Silent, I know it could take a lot and I don't expect, I just thought it would add so much more to your mod as well as san andreas, not even sure why no one tried to implement it better than JarJar did. probably because of online multiplayer.... anyways I know you need to rework the controllers into the game and I would expect that first, I was only giving a wishlist.

 

Amazing job with what you have done, I only wish there was more dedication like this on other mods.

anyway who knows, maybe after this mod; someone can do a GTA 2 TC aswell... cuz I have always been curious about having a GTA 2 mod on Renderware

It's getting near the end of the school year for some people here, so yeah, not a lot is being done on the mod moment, and I can't do anything else at the moment without full co-operation, CP was feeling ill last I heard of him so nothing much has happened there and well, everything's just kinda moving slowly again at the moment, Silent is working on some minor engine glitches, such as the above fix he posted, now working on vehicle parts losing their colour glitch, etc, and just looking over the fixes Rockstar did with 1.01-onwards to see what can be brought back into the game.

BTW I found a glitch I don't know how to recreate. I believe it occurred in SA as well as the PSP version of VCS (an alternative way)

 

In the PSP version, if you had godmode, entered a vehicle, and during the animation did the "destroy all vehicles" cheat, you'd enter a blown up vehicle.

 

The last time I played VCS, I had invincibility, and was blowing up cars with a rocket launcher, when I saw a blown up car had a ped still in it. I cant remember exactly what happened, but I entered the vehicle and could still drive it blown up. It still had fire on the hood. I figured out if I blew up a vehicle with a ped in it while I stood next to it, there was a chance of the ped living, and the car still functioning.

In III and Vice City you can easily recreate it even without godmode. You just have to choose an already occupied vehicle and GESUNDHEIT or ASPIRINE it once you're in, because it'll explode again otherwise.

I was able to enter it just in time and type the health cheat. It was fixed and drivable but it had the black "blown up" texture. I took it to the garage to fix the wheel and when I took it out, it was still black. Pay'N'Spray restored the vehicle to it's original color. Anyone else ever noticed this?
