Am I right in saying that Silver Palmetto is going to be more of a map and texture update as well as perfecting a few other things, other than a missions update? Either way, it would be awesome to have a few more of those missions added. :)

At the rate things are going, we're not really sure which direction to take at the moment. Our "fame" is catching up to us, and that's a bad thing, as people expect more as to what we can give, for the first time, we're starting tot hink "Silver Palmetto" will be a huge let down for most people.

Empire Buildings will come when the story requires them. Pretty sure they've said this before.

I honestly think that keeping the swimming as San Andreas style is useless, because when you will dive, you'll find nothing but empty space!

(No oysters, no dolphins, no fishes...) 

Unless you miss my post earlier, the point of keeping SA style is to ease off Silent and NTA's stresses so they can bring more VCS stuff to the mod rather than just trying to fix things that ain't broke. Removing a feature is much more time-consuming than leaving it as an option (Don't like, then don't use). If, however, any of you guys could actually do that, feel free to contribute to the mod.

When Phil gave the Stinger to Vic there, he said "Go see how she shoots" and Vic replied again

 

but in the original versions

 

 

He doesn't say anything.

I noticed that as well, but I guess you can't got wrong with some extra dialogue here and there. Btw, thanks for using my video for the PS2 version of the mission, haha. :)

Yeah the game has a lot of unused audio still left behind that's still got code for where it's used in missions, seeing as it's there, why not use it? we're not using all of it, as I said in VCS BEta topic in the VCS Section, there's a load of other stuff to, such as Phil rambling during "Boomshine Blowout", which we couldn't make sense of where that was supposed to go, etc.

That said, Empire Buildings code IS being developed. But the 'playable part' (owning business/takeovers) is just a top of a coding iceberg. For now, nothing indicates the code will 'surface' in Silver Palmetto but it doesn't mean it won't be there ;)

Can I see Empire Building System in the future in VCS PC.

The VCS PC Team is proud to announce the ROCKSTAR'S VISION DLC which will download RemoteJoy on your PC and assist you through setting it up on your PlayStation Portable system. The team did consider using PPSSPP but decided that this didn't fit Rockstar's vision due to the fact it can't use the PSP as a controller and can up-res video -- further altering Dan and Sam's grand mobile vision.

Blasphemy! Rockstar's vision never included cords, FPS and FOV displayed on the screen nor did their vision include the game getting that much FPS. And if that FOV can be changed, you especially should be hanged for such atrocities against Dan and Sam's vision of VCS!

Seeing how we get negative feedback for making the textures more consistent in terms of quality than the PS2 ver, I doubt going that far from The Rockstar Vision™ would be any appreciated by the people :pp

Exactly! I find those your fixes very useful. You just have to try to keep the original atmosphere and it'll be fine for me, for example. I don't understand people who want exactly the same version as on PSP or PS2. Of course, if R* ever released VCS for PC, it would be that, but it'd sure miss something, and your guys are making the game R* would do if they really tried.
