Yeah, the clock disabled is a halloween thing as the timecyc has more night hours in this pack, so if you try and play normal missions, they will appear as night, same for the crazy lamp posts, I wanted them to appear somewhere so a halloween night mod with zombies roaming fit with it.

Dont take anything serious here, just a bit of fun with the mod to test the dlc engine as a way to have some holidays themes.

Also, see if you can find all 20 pumpkins. :p

The files won't dissapear from your game, but the option will not show in DLC menu anymore... till next year, of course :p

The game can't recognize any packs not being official, but if one makes a good enough DLC, I don't see why we couldn't start supporting it.

Has anyone else this Truck Stop Bug? Everytime I try this mission Phil dies, even if he just sits in the car after I blocked the Truck. Are you going to fix it or am I the only one with that problem?

oh this "dlc" system got me thinking how cool it will be if someone will do a addon for VCSpc to support more SA features like gym, clothing, barber's, schools etc..

The DLC system could be really helpful for modding San Andreas. You could use stuff like multiple timecyc's and just change them in the menu, or handling/weapon.dat mods.

Feel free, I don't remember making any limits smaller than they were in SA so it should work just fine :pp
I'd be seriously curious to see how it'd look. A kind of re-conversion.

DLC Ideas (One of which you guys already are doing, but not as a DLC):

-Interiors like Malibu and Pole Position with a VCS style (like you stated you wanted to add, but as a DLC)

-Enterable interiors: Ability to go inside any VCS interior from the campaign. That is the ones that are converted. It includes cutscene interiors, and interiors that are only available on certain missions.

-Flyable jets at the airport. Basically the VCS planes that are in the airport already, except they can be entered and are not dummy props. However, I think the lear jet might need to be added.

 

Also I have one question. Do you think you guys may ever fix the map being too high causing the water around Vice city to not line up with the endless ocean? It may be harder to keep save compatibility and you would have to play with the Z-Axis cords every time you do a mission. (Ether saves wouldn't work, or old saves would have saved cars and Vic spawning too high lol.) But do you guys think instead you might be able to raise the endless ocean water so it works with the map on its current cords? May not be possible but it will save a lot of extra work if your planning on fixing it.

Those interiors will make an entrance in the official release as stated before.

Any other interiors and "basic" stuff should not be on DLCs but on the official releases, else the game will just get too split. DLC should be for little bonus stuff like that Halloween Event or a few more missions.

Anything core should stay in the core.

Yep, and that's how we're planning to do. Keep little, R* style enhancements (like extra submissions we have now) in the main game and use DLCs for something we may want to do BUT it stays out of the original game concept too much.

It's already converted and uploaded. You cannot actually come inside, but you do can save vehicles in garage.

when i try to launch the game, i wind up with an error message saying the game couldnt launch because "VCSPC.DLL failed to load" what have i done wrong?
