Who do you prefer as a friend,Little Jacob or Packie?They are clearly Niko's best friends.In my opinion,Jacob has a genuine friendship towards Niko,being willing to help him even if he doesn't get anything out of it.Packie on the other hand rather regards him as a very efficient partner in crime.After all,he doesn't offer his support to Niko if money isn't involved.That's why I hold Jacob in a higher regard than Packie,who is a great character nonetheless.

Jacob!! I alwas enjoy hanging out with Lil jacob, love the way he talks. Subtitles help, that is if you want to make the effort to read lol. But ya, Jacob has been there for Niko
while Packe just talks about his lame life growng up and his brothers.

Thats a tough one. I think I have to say Jacob, I love the way he talks, he is one of more unique characters.

Jacob, easily. Packie is cool but Jacob blows him out of the water and then blows the water out too. Jacob is the better character but also the better friend.

Yeah LJ all the way - where was Packie during "Out of Comision", or "A Revenger's Tragedy"? LJ put his life on the line, with no hesitation and was there for Niko at The fatal wedding, ushering Niko away.

I prefer Little Jacob than Packie, both are cool characters, but Jacob is a sympathic, and funny weed-smoking guy, who is also a good guy to hang out with and he provides Niko great guns

Packie is someone Niko can roll with and have great fun, and Packie would protect Niko's back if the chips were down. But Jacob just has that streak of loyalty which is very powerful. Seeing how he stood side by side with Niko during certain very tough missions, when he didn't really have to, makes him my choice. I confess to using subtitles for Jacob, and trying to practise some of his patois. Cho!

It's hard to say, because we didn't get introduced to Packie until much later in the story.

To me Jacob seems to be much closer to Niko on a personal level. The relationship they have IMO is quite similar to what Ceasar, and CJ had in SA. Jacob seems like the type of person who would take a bullet for Niko if it were the case.

Packie seems more like a trustworthy business associate than a close, and personal friend. Sort of like Avery in Vice City.

Pfft little jacob is crazy. I can't understand that fool half the time. Where as packie had that dope Bank Heist mission. Which was awesome. It's between that and Lost and the Damned prison mission for my favorite one. Besides packie is more bad ass anyways.

Packie is definetly funnier but I'll say Lil Jacob. He's always got your back. I just wished he didnt give you such a busted ride when you do drug deals for him. Even Badman is kind of funny too. Plus, after i started playing, I couldnt say saying "I and I".

I would say Little Jacob. I could hang with him and pass a blunt. He has the good stuff. And he has the guns. I always call him for guns. I don't have a need for exploding cars.

Glad Brucie wasn't part of this. He just wants to get into Nikos pants .

Little Jacob is the best as he always had Niko's back. Also, I've been talking "rasta" a lot after playing GTA IV.

If in the next GTA game you were to play as either Packie or Little Jacob, then that may be a tough call. Little Jacob would be an awesome character (even if you could barely understand him), but he just doesn't seem like the guy that would gain a lot in the end. Packie on the other hand would be able to accomplish a lot, but he lacks the likeness of character in which Little Jacob provides.

Either way, they're both great characters in their own respects.

Little Jacob, no doubt. I wish there was a DLC featuring him and Badman. Like others have said, Jacob always had Niko's back, and would definitely take a bullet for him.

A better friend is definitley Jacob. He's always got Niko's back, but Packie is hilarious when drunk.
