Does this Mod still give you a Felony warning for speeding because the train you were in was naturally going over the speed limit or has that been fixed?

I also think having the option of either disabling the Mod or making it less harsh is a good idea because I found it a problem during missions in TLAD, especially since the mission destination GPS screen disappears when you have to lose the cops unless you had manually set a GPS route to the mission destination before hand.

Is it possible to configure the ini to a point that only gives you a star if a cop sees you commit a felony? Having a felony every time i did something wrong got a bit annoying. I like the idea of the risk of speeding unnoticed, and trying to avoid being seen.

For example, when you get into a stolen car and trigger the alarm without moving, you will see the cop icons flash on the radar, but you dont get a star, they are simply in suspicious mode. This would be a good way to have the system work for when you are breaking the law out of sight of the cops, that way it doesnt annoys us with all the flashing, cop radio chatter and such.

Sounds cool. Destroying property will get you 1 star already though, i've hit newspaper dispensors/etc and gotten a wanted level. I think you have to stay in that are though.

Not for me. I seem to have a red flashing radar and 1 star as soon as I break the law, regardless of cops around or not. So I spend the whole time with a red radar, radio chatter and 1 star, which just gets annoying. It would be better if it worked like every other crime, in that you only get the star if you are breaking the law in front of "the law". If that is how it's supposed to work, then I guess something is broke in my game.

I might be wrong here, but I think what it's supposed to be doing is: give red flashing radar and 1 star on felony, and if no cops see you within a short time (LookOutTime in the ini), the temporary star is removed. That seems to be the way it works for me.

Try adjusting the settings in your ini to see if you can get the temporary wanted level to go away like it's supposed to.

In that case mine must be working correctly. It's just that it gets annoying having that flashing, chatter and star every time I break the speed limit or run a light. I would have preferred a system that matches the standard GTAIV system, in where you get away with it unless seen. For example, running a red light or speeding isnt a felony unless there is a cop in sight. Hitting another car on the other hand should always be a felony, and work much like the system does now. That way it would work much the same, just without the extra annoyance of constant noise and flashies. Can't have everything I suppose tounge.gif

HippieCommunist: Could you make it possible to enable/disable the "Look out" thing, and when disabled there won't be any lookout and you will only get a wanted star if a cop is nearby (Seeing the act)?

Already tried.

Under LookOutTime I tried: 1, 0, (0,5), (-160), "false" and tried to write nothing but the "Look Out" still happens for a second and that is annoying since it isn't realistic (If you are crossing a red light), but the "Look Out" thing contains a lot of realism if you smash up peoples cars or damaging puplic things etc.

I hope HippieCommunist makes it possible to disable/enable the "Look Out" thing (If you are crossing a red light), so they only respond to your crime, if the cops are nearby!

HippieCommunist doesn't seem to respond to any thread in here + PM. Why can't the source code of any mod be released if it isn't under any development any longer or the author have no interest in his mods?

Hippie communist I need some help. I have to use xliveless because GFWL won't allow me to save unless I update my game. So now I have patch 1.0.4.0 and xliveless but I can't seem to be able to run your asi with xliveless. Using aru's scripthook isn't an option either since it will crash with xliveless.

What do you suggest me to do?

I have patch 1.0.4.0, xliveless and an old version of aru's scripthook (0.2.6), and they all work fine together. I tried a newer version of the scripthook (0.5.0 I think), and it made my game crash. So I recommend trying the older scripthook versions.

please update it,get a star when a cop/copcar is nearby,
someone has noticed that if you stop the car on the red light & then you keep going while the light is still red the cops won't take you?

I used to like this mod, but recently I'm noticing cops chase me for running red lights, when I'm still behind the light! So all the effort I put into obeying the traffic laws still gets cops after me.

That's probably Rockstar's fault. It seems like they didn't pay very much attention to intersections. The traffic lights are on the wrong side of the street, and sometimes the game thinks you ran a light when you didn't.

If this game were as open as Bethesda games like Oblivion or Fallout, modders would have fixed things like this already.

Doesnt work properly. You get wanted for driving over a bump in the road and it gets really irritating. I'm now using this with just the Speeding and Hitting Pedestrains enabled. Love it though still.

Now what we need is a mod/script, with which police wont arrest you at level 1, but only tickets you (like in Mafia)! Does something like that exists?
Because its stupid to arrest me only because Ive smashed to trash can, etc.

This mod works great. In heavy traffic, I can drive past some cars and even hit one without a siren going off, but when I put the hammer down they give chase!

Now if only they could actually catch me.

It seems that obeying real life laws still gets me in sh*t sometimes.

Is it possible to add "Right Turns on Red" unless thats a law that only valid here in Canada. As far as I know, most roads with lights you can make a right turn on a red light, but on multi-lane roads with a turning lane you can only make a right on red if you're in the right turn lane.
