I haven't been in any country for now, but I am planning to visit one this summer. I am not sure which to visit, between France, England, Germany, Netherlands or Austria. What do you recommend, guys?

For history, I'd recommend visiting Berlin, as you'd expect the German capital is full of historic landmarks such as the Brandenburg Gate, The Reichstag and Checkpoint Charlie. Berlin has beautiful architecture, friendly people and atmosphere. In fact the only place that I enjoyed visiting more than Berlin was New York.

Well you should have stated that in the beginning.

Now about your question, I would recommend visiting France. People there seem quite friendly, and Paris is just a beautiful place.

If i was to go to France, for some reason i'd rather go to Cannes first then Paris. Don't know why, suppose it's just the French Riviera that attracts me in general.

I've been to Canada near Niagra Falls. The difference between the American side and the Canadian side is very apparent. On one side you have a nice modern city, while on the other you've got an industrial wasteland. Guess which side belonged to which country... sarcasm.gif

Lol, strange, because I've seen two or three hot french girls in few pictures my mate showed me in his trip to France (he went to Versailles).
But I know the men are kinda ugly.

My first ever holiday abroad with the parents was to Lanzarote, Spain. Absolutely beautiful island, and even better with a trip to the local volcano, which absolutely stunk, lol.

2nd Holiday with the parents was to a camp site in Brest, France. Good holiday, but we tended to stick to the camp-site on that holiday, with like 2 trips into the local town, but I don't remember it that much.

Third holiday was to Kos, Greece, and that for me was the best holiday I've had. The place is just beautiful, and everyone was friendly as f*ck there.

As you may know, the next place I wish to visit is somewhere in America.

I did that trip to the volcano too! Funny, my first package holiday with my family was to Lanzarote. Before that we went camping in France too. We went camping in Carnac when I was 14 or 15 and it was the best holiday ever. I went on a day trip to Kos aswell when we were holidaying in Turkey.

To list where I've been..

Ireland
Scotland (2 times)
England
Wales (3 times)
Isle Of Man
France (2 times)
Italy (3 times)
Spain/Catalonia/Canaries
Czech
Netherlands
Turkey
Greece (Kos)

Been to each country in the british Isles a heap of times since I have family all over. Family used to go on holiday to different parts of France every year when I was a kid, ince then I have diversified a bit:

France - All over
Portugal - Mostly just the Algarve 4 or so times
Spain - Malaga, Madrid, Barcelona, Salamanca
Germany - Munich
Netherlands - Amsterdam
Norway - Oslo x2
Italy - Milan, Rome, Bari
USA - Florida, NY, Boston
Mexico - Lived there for 6 months so all over
Guatemala - Guatemala City, Lake Atitlan, Xela

Pretty sure I will have forgotten a place or two, hopefully going to get to Eastern Europe sometime soon.

Witty.

More on topic, Youngfresh if you're looking for countries with Rich culture there are a pile to choose from as alot of countries have very unique and rich culture. The places I have found that have the richest culture are the following,

• Oman, Muscat - Very rich in culture, not at all like the UAE especially Dubai since it's all been westernised, not that that's a bad thing Dubai is awesome but if your looking for culture and a more ancient, dated envoronment but fun to explore I recomend Oman. It's Islamic culture and Grand Mosques are simply amazing. Not to mention the Valleys and hills you can go and see. It'd also Safe, not like Yemen.

• Italy, Anywhere but I recomend Naples simply for it's famouse Buffalo Mozzarella and it's awesome Food. It has a great seafood, not to mention all the typical Italian stuff like Pizza's and Pasta which in every part of Italy are extremely authentic depending on which region you go to. Naples also has awesome Landscape and obviously it's famouse for it's crater in the ground, Vesuvius!

Even coming from an Italian, I now only go to Italy once a year when I used to go at least three times before I turned 7, and I can say it's worth a visit.

Hehehe.

Every country has a different culture, of all the countries I've been too I couldn't label one as the "richest". Depends on personal taste I guess and to taste it you have to have been there. Literature I'm not sure and a high IQ doesn't depend on your nationality so the only factor I can think of that plays a role in that is the state of the education.

Unless you're a bisexual prostitute I really don't understand why this should affect your decision.

Coming from the same country I must say, I'm not offended. While people might be generally ugly in France (according to some people), people in Romania are generally really dumb.

Northern Ireland (Home)
Republic of Ireland (Cork, Dublin, Brey, The West)
England (Manchester, Liverpool, Cheshire, Trafford, Birmingham)
Scotland (Ayeshire)
Wales (A dirt road we had to take through Wales to get to England again)
Germany (Was too young to remember, I assume Hamburg or near it)
France (Paris)
Spain (Balearic Islands and Canary Islands, never been to the mainland)
Portugal (Algarve)

Countries I plan on visiting soon would be Italy (Milan and Rome), mainland Spain (Madrid and Catalonia), USA (New York, Vegas, LA, the usual) and Brazil.

I've ever been out of the US but I have been to 26 states within the US on road trips which is kind of like visitng different countries to you Europeans. My goal is to visit all 50 before I die. So I will probably never leave the US since I will be doing a ton of traveling here and that will suck up all my time. I have no desire to go to Mexico and Canada is basically Minnesota and I grew up here so there's no point to go there. And I have no desire to visit Europe or Asia and obviously no desire to visit Africa or the Middle East for obvious reasons. So looks like I'm going to stay put in the good old USA unless I have to travel for work or something.
