Some new, higher resolution texture files for GTA3

Hi all

I just released the latest version of my texture mod. N'joy!

V.1.2 includes:
- new vending machine (real photo, 1024x512 instead of 128x64), not the same as in v.1.1
- Stop2_64 (real photo, 256x256 instead of 64x64)
- walk_dont (256x256 instead of 64x64)
- Miamibeige256 (credit and big thanks to txdeditor) (512x512 instead of 128x128)
- Spraysign2_128 (512x512 instead of 64x64)
- fire01 (1024x1024 instead of 64x64)
- chemsign2_64_A (512x512 instead of 64x64)
- indoor1 (real photo; 1024x1024 instead of 64x64)
- hospital_top (real photo; 1024x1024 instead of 128x128)
- added all affected .txd files in order to provide a fast installation
- all files of v.1.0 and v.1.1

V. 1.0 included:
- New grey doors (1024x1024 instead of 128x128
- New red doors (512x512 instead of 128x128)
- New notice signs (256x256 instead of 64x64)
- New Italian and USA flag (256x256 instead of 128x128)
- New background screens for the computers in the tw@d café (1024x1024)

the second garage texture is plain, no scratches or other details

Agree with Narcis_Speed. Second one needs some more 'wear & tear/scratches'. Though, it looks nice!

I did HD tree textures (1024x1024) replacing the original 128x128 files as well as the corresponding Lod-Files of those trees.

Furthermore I did an update for the pedestrian traffic lights (walk/don't walk).

I just have to pack the stuff and update the readme, so you can expect a release later this week.

Amazing job out there.

It would be awesome to have the whole GTAIII retextured. It'd be so asskicking that I wouldn't play IV anymore tounge.gif

Good, but the tree with the much colors isn't that good. It's got some 'shadows' on the left side.

Actually I have no plans on doing a GTAIIIrt. Time is very limited, that's also the reason why I only edit just some textures from time to time. But if I can contribute to any rt mod with my textures I'd be happy to help out! :-)

@Eduard: I attached a smaller version of the texture. I think what you mentioned is caused by GTAIII itself. Or are you referring to the darkers spots on the left bottom of the tree?

Hehe, I never intended to do a Soda machine! biggrin.gif I wanted to have a photorealistic looking vending machine in GTAIII, that's why I made a texture based on a picture I took of a Cola machine nearby where I live. At least Coca Cola is red and white, like Soda... cool.gif

Huge bump but I want to bring up a giant copyright issue on Wikia. User OGPat has shamelessly uploaded a ton of images without attribution, some of them from Fireburns (the VC textures are from here). I have no power on that site and this is not the first time Wikia allowed their own user to upload user-made art without permission.

EDIT: Oh, I should've searched more and posted this here instead. whatsthat.gif

Nice textures, that's some mad skills!

Also very interesting about the picture with "See you in Miami" and "Francis International"
They were reffering to the next GTA, which was GTA Vice City and probably GTA SA.
I can't wait to find an image which leads to next GTA VI and in which city it will be.
