First of all I'd like to thank Tommy-Vercetti for the banner, gamesguru for the map & LeRay0409 for help with the tables. Secondly, this event is open to ALL 360 gangs.

WHAT IS TURF WARS?
A clan based event where rival clans challenge each other to claim each others turf. It's all in good fun so no turf will officially be lost. It's just to spice up the dull mutiplayer scene. It seems we've had no real reason to engage in clan matches for a long time. At least this would give us something to actually fight for. I'm hoping it'll give a bit more structure to the gang scene too. The event will be held on Monday's and Tuesday's and will be hosted by a representitive from a defending clan.

PREREQUISITES:
Obviously a gang and at least four locations that you call home. I must insist that your turf be an enterable building so that it can be used during games. For example: there would be no point in defending a rooftop (Eh, Niall wink.gif ). Simples!

RULES:
•Gangs are allowed up to 6 pieces of turf.
•Gangs must come up with creative mini-games/rules/objectives to achieve during games played at their respective pieces of turf. Please be creative, guys!
•If a defending team is killed then the turf is lost and the match is over. If an attacking team is killed, they are allowed to return to the turf to try and keep on the attack.
•If a gang wishes to obtain a rival gangs turf then please issue a challenge and arrange a turf war in this thread. The gang that owns the turf then states the rules for the match.
•If a gang wishes to arrange a turf war at their own turf then please issue an open invitation in this thread. If a gang accepts the challenge you must then fully explain the rules of your game to them.
•Points are rewarded for successfully defending/successfully taking over turf.

If you wish to join the event, please fill out this table:
CODE
[tableb][tr][td]Gang Name[/td][td] [/td][td] [/td][/tr][tr][td] [/td][td]Gang Turf[/td][td]Turf Location[/td][/tr][tr][td] [/td][td]Gang Turf[/td][td]Turf Location[/td][/tr][tr][td] [/td][td]Gang Turf[/td][td]Turf Location[/td][/tr][tr][td] [/td][td]Gang Turf[/td][td]Turf Location[/td][/tr][tr][td] [/td][td] [/td][td] [/td][/tr][/tableb]

POINTS:
One point for a semi-defence/semi-takeover.
Two points for a successful defence/successful takeover.
Five points for an impenterable defence/hostile takeover (meaning all gang members successfully defended their turf/took over a rival gangs turf without dying).
If a gang is able to obtain all of a rival gangs turf over a period of time then that will earn them 20 points (shooting them waaay up the leaderboard)*.
*This can be achieved by either taking over a rival gangs turf over a certain amount of time or during a Domination game where you'll aim to take over all a rival gangs turf in one sitting.

GAMES!

ANGELS OF DEATH:

CLUBHOUSE CATASTROPHE
Story: After the downfall of The Lost, the Uptown Riders MC subsequently lost a powerful ally and quickly became obsolete in Liberty City. With revenge on their mind, they hire a gang of rogue hoods to eliminate the cause of their downfall - the AOD. They're ordered to eliminate all existing members and steal the Algonquin chapter and Alderney chapters Presidents bikes as a token of their victory.

Rules and Objectives: The AOD must stock up and set up a defence at both of the clubhouses (or depending on how many AOD are online at the time, just one clubhouse at a time). When ready, the defending team must then make their way over to either clubhouse. Their objective is to obtain a bike hidden in each clubhouse. Once one clubhouse is taken over and the bike retrieved, the defending AOD must then attempt to beat the attacking team to the next clubhouse. If either team spots any opposing team members on the way then they're allowed to take them out by any means neccesary. If an AOD member spots an attacker on the stolen bike and they manage to kill them, the bike should then be returned to the clubhouse. The attackers must then attempt to steal the bike once again. Once both bikes are stolen the attackers must make their way over to the Pay 'N' Spray in Northwood and respray the bikes. Once both bikes have been resprayed the game is won by the attacking team. If one clubhouse is taken over and only one bike retrieved, but the match ends before the second clubhouse is taken over and the second bike is retrieved, both teams receive points for a successful defence/takeover but no turf is gained/lost and the game will be a draw. Both clubhouses must be successfully defended/taken over for a win. If no bikes are retrieved then it'll be a home win.

Preferences: Automatic weapons. No explosives. Auto-Aim off. Blips off. 40 minute time limit. 10 minute stocking up period.

XEROING IN
Story: The AOD have been hired to guard some important documents in an abandoned warehouse in Bohan, by an unknown man through a third party, from a very dangerous terrorist organization. What is on those documents? Why are they so important? Who are they being guarded for? Who cares! Aslong as the AOD are getting paid they don't give a damn! Just as boredome begins to kick in, there's a commosion outside. The organization has managed to track down the documents! Happy days!

Rules and Objectives: The attacking team must get all of their members into the office room on the top floor. Attackers MUST begin their attack at the bottom of the factory regardless of whether they spawn on either the top or middle floors. If a member makes it half way and gets killed, they must begin their ascent again. If an attacking player defeats all defenders and makes their way into the office while their other members are still making their way up, they are still fair game to be killed. All attacking players must enter the office room for a win. If no attacking members make it into the office then that'd be a win for the defenders.

Preferences: Automatic weapons. No explosives (however, gas canister's can be used to a players advantage). Auto-Aim off. Blips off. 30 minute time limit. 10 minute stocking up period.

PRISON BREAK-IN
Story: After the AOD took control of The Lost's assets and they were forced to disband, a bitter member decided to turn rat. He ratted out the AOD, their partners and even Johnny K himself. As a result, the partnership between the AOD and their suppliers turned sour. The rat is now being held in the Alderney State Correctional Facility and is waiting to be transported to a secure unit to tesitify infront of the D.A. The AOD, however, do not need this to happen. They've busted their way into the prison to seek out the rat and take him back to their clubhouse to "have some fun with him", but the suppliers aren't going to let them have all the fun and decide that they're going to take out the rat themselves and anybody that gets in their way.

Rules and Objectives: A simple blips-off match at the prison... with a twist! Defenders must first prevent the attackers from making it through the main gate and into the prison. Once attackers are in the prison, defenders must then prevent the attackers from making their way to the middle tower to kill the rat (a fellow team member). Once the attackers have taken the middle tower and killed the chosen member then the match is won. If the attacking team fails to kill the rat then the AOD exact their own revenge and the match will be a home win.

Preferences: Episodic weapons. Auto-Aim off. Blips off. 30 minute time limit. 10 minute stocking up period.

RISE OF THE FOOTSOLDIERS
Story: After months of preperation and paying off the right people to keep the law at bay, the AOD are setting up and getting ready to distribute H all over the city. They're cutting the H in the apartments in a projects building in Northwood. A rogue gang, however, gets wind of the upcoming deals and sets out to kill the AOD and take the H for their own. It'd be handy if the AOD suffered no losses, but it is absolutely imperative that the buyers contacts be kept alive. They won't deal with just anybody. The contacts have priority. These deals will pay off well and keep the AOD afloat for a long time. Nothing can go wrong!

Rules and Objectives: The AOD must stock up and then make their way to Dwayne's apartment building, find an open apartment and set up a defence, while two chosen AOD members make their way up the building and hide out on some of the upper floors. When the AOD are in position the attacking team must make their way to the apartments. Their first objective will be to clear out the open apartments of AOD members. Once all the AOD are dead, they must then make their way up the building to find the contacts. Once thecontacts are dead, the attacking team must then make their way up to the roof. ALL of the AOD on the lower floors plus BOTH of the contacts must all be killed for an away win. If either of the contacts survive then it'll be a home win.

Attackers: Please take note which AOD members you have killed before you make your way to the roof. If there are any remaining AOD that you haven't killed and you all make your way to the roof, you haven't won the match.

Defenders: No cheating and running out of the building. You MUST stay in the building at all times.

Preferences: Episodic weapons. Auto-Aim off. Blips off. 30 minute time limit. 10 minute stocking up period.

SQUATTER'S RIGHTS
Story: After the daring prison raid and the murder of Billy Grey, Johnny was wanted by the FIB and was considered top priority and was therefore inbedded in the mind of every law enforcer in Liberty City. His accomplises Angus, Terry and Clay were quickly taken down and Johnny was subsequently forced to exit his squat and leave Liberty City. The FIB had tracked him down to the squat in Acter Industrial Park, but he had already fled by the time they arrived. They have since placed a special task force on 24/7 watch incase of a possible return. Meanwhile, during acquisition of The Lost's asset's, the AOD have got wind of this old squat and decide to go check it out completely unaware of what awaits them. Suspecting that Johnny has returned with new members, the task force moves in...

Rules and Objectives: Brian's safehouse. As this place only has a small interior this match will be a simple run 'n' gun takeover. The team with the most kills at the end of the game is the winner. The whole property is available for use. Also, remember guys, you have the gas canisters to use to your advantage wink.gif

Preferences: Episodic weapons. Auto-Aim off. Blips off. 20 minute time limit.

------------------------------------------------------------

HARE KRISHNA:

SHACKING UP
Rules and Objectives:The Hare Krishna must collect weapons and ammo before planning a defence strategy on the third story in the Crack Shack (Front Building). When ready, the attacking team must attack the Crack Shack by eliminating all enemies inside then remaining on the third story. Defenders may not stray from the third story of the building, but are allowed to attack enemies from the third story (Attackers on the inside only). Attackers may enter from the roof or ground level, but may only kill while inside the Crack Shack (Front Building). The winners are the team with the most players remaining on the third story of the Crack Shack.

Preferences: Episodic weapons. No explosives. Auto-Aim off. Blips off. 40 minute time limit. 10 minute stocking up period.

DANCE, BITCH!
Rules and Objectives:The Defenders must stock up on weapons and ammo then head to the Bahama Mamas Nightclub, where the defenders will take position and ready themselves while a chosen member of the team (aka ‘boss’) will enter the club owner’s office and stay there. When the defenders are ready, the attackers may enter the club in the aim of killing the ‘boss’ while the defenders try to keep him alive. The defenders may not enter the office unless the attackers have breached the office. The ‘boss’ may not leave the office but is allowed to attack from the office (This is not recommended) and kill any defenders that have entered the office. If the ‘boss’ is killed the attackers win, if the ‘boss’ stays alive within the time limit the defenders win.

Preferences: Automatic weapons. No explosives. Auto-Aim off. Blips off. 30 minute time limit. 10 minute stocking up period.

MAN OVERBOARD
Rules and Objectives: The Defending team must stock up on weapons and ammo, then make their way to the Cruise Ship just south of Alderney. When ready, the Attacking team must attack the Cruise. Both teams are only allowed to enter the Cruise via Parachutes. The attackers must rid the boat of defenders then remain there. The winners are the team with the most members on the boat after the time limit.

Preferences: Episodic weapons. No explosives. Auto-Aim off. Blips off. 30 minute time limit. 10 minute stocking up period.

REACH FOR THE STARS
Rules and Objectives:The defending team must stock up on weapons and ammo before making their way to the MeTV/LC Rampage Hockey Club Offices interior. When ready, the attackers must attack the tower, eliminating all enemies and holding the office. The team with the most members in the office at the end of the game are the victors.

Preferences: Shotgun weapons. No explosives. Auto-Aim off. Blips off. 30 minute time limit. 10 minute stocking up period.

------------------------------------------------------------

STAR JUNCTION SYNDICATE:

SJS HOME OFFICE:
Story: SJS is usually pretty tight lipped when it comes to the Home Office. But we can declassify that SJS was founded here, and this address will always be considered our Home Office.
We'll see if there's no point in defending a rooftop. (Eh, LeeLee ph34r.gif )
--( CLICK HERE FOR SNAP MAP )--

Rules and Objectives: Rules? There are no rules, and the only objective is simply to try and remove all SJS from the premises by any means necessary.
Good Luck! You'll need it.

HINT: All weapons (except grenades) can reach the rooftop from the streets, heli's not required.

Preferences: GTA IV Free Mode, A.A.-Disallow, Police-Off, F.F.-On, Weap.-Standard, Reticule Health-Off,

MORE TO COME!

------------------------------------------------------------

THE EXILES:

The Libertonian (Museum Pieces):

Story: The Libertonian Museum was a tourist hot-spot in Liberty City, accounting for around 20% of the Algonquin's traffic both nationally and internationally. However, during Autumn 2008 it was shut down due suspected gang warfare. Police have yet to make any public announcement, however allegations have been made that diamonds were involved as well as an un-named notorious biker gang and Dominican Drug Dealers. It's been a year since then, and it is still shutdown. However long time 'love them or hate them' Liberty City gang The Exiles bought the land and now occupy it. They stock the majority of weapons and materialistic possessions here. Often holding drug deals here under maximum security.

Rules: Each team has a 5min arming period. Then both teams will take one edge of the rooftop (North or South); the host team (The Exiles) will take the Southern Side. When agreed, both clans will then run to the centre and fight until the death. Until there is one last person standing (or none). Once you have been killed you can't join back on the rooftop (if you spawn there, then you must get off). Once this has happened, everyone has another 5min stocking up period. We will then meet inside the building and take cover all around the middle office desk. Then when called, a Russian Roulette reminiscent battle will happen, with everyone all in a circle, seconds from their fate. Just like the rooftop battle, it is elimination based. Once this round has finished, we must stock up on only Grenade Launchers. Once everyone is ready we will get into positions and begin the final battle. Use of anything but the Grenade Launcher will equal a Kick from the game.

Preferences: AA/Off - Cops/Off - Time/35mins - Weapons/Episodic - Blips/All - Chat/All

Sprunk Factory (The Climax):

Story: During the occupation of The Libertonian, The Exiles of Alderny Division thought it was wise to seek out a big abandoned building as well. Eventually the division bumped into the the abandoned Sprunk Factory. Since then, The Exiles have used it to smuggle drugs they have bought from rival gangs, often doing deals with the Angels of Death. Additionally they launder money for their smaller companies, including laundromats and butcher shops (used to sell human body parts as pork, beef and turkey) that are scattered around Alderny. However during February, there was a huge battle in the Factory between The Exiles and Hare Krishna. Hence why it is severely damaged and burned out. Locals said it was reminiscent to recent riots held at the local elections. Such acts continued, until both gangs signed a treaty, due to the escalation and exposure being received from the media. Since then The Exiles have been rebuilding the factory, and are continuing to use it for the latter services.

Rules: The clans have a 5min arming period. Once you have collected weapons, all teams must find delivery trucks. Once these are found, both teams (maximum of 4 players each) must meet up at the entrance of Funland. Both teams then must work up a wanted level and try to get 4 stars. Once you have 4 stars, you must then travel to Alderny and shake the wanted level; although they can't kill each other. If anyone dies during the journey, they can meet up and then get back in the delivery truck racking up their wanted level. However, they can't stock up, only using weapons they have spawned with. Once a team has lost the cops they can arrive at the Sprunk Factory and stock up and take their positions and wait for the rival team to arrive. Each team must park at the opening entrance, before going anywhere else. After this, the battle begins, and the first to $2500 wins.

Preferences: AA/Off - Cops/On - Time/$2500 - Weapons/Episodic - Blips/All - Chat/All

Subway Hatch (In The Burrows):

Story: The Exiles are notorious for trafficking goods via the LTA system. They even privately own their own train of which they put the majority of goods on. This train goes through a small area which has shelter and housing, like a shanty town. This is where many drug deals are taken place, and where items are stocked and shifted to another rail line if there are any suspecting police following a trial. During Autumn 2008, The Exiles saw the news and noticed that are group of Irish bank robbers used a Subway Hatch relatively close to one of their Railway stops. Since then, The Exiles have bought the land illegally from the Liberty City Mayor. Since the purchase, The Exiles have rebuilt it with numerous facilities, sheltering their homeless members, and also sheltering local homeless people as part of their numerous charities they run as apart of their 'good publicity scheme'.

Rules: Both teams must stock up. The robbers must only use AK-47s (also Sticky Bombs for the vault only) and the police must get SMGs, Pistols and Rapid Fire Shotguns. The robbers can't have Armour, but the police can. The Exiles are the bank robbers, and the away team are the Police. Once the robbers are in the bank, the police must speed to bank (in police cruisers) and take down the culprits (starting point is Helitours' Car Park). The robbers must put three sticky bombs each in the vault. Once they are detonated, they must escape with the loot. The team must then split into two divisions and each get into an escape vehicle
(maybe the vehicle you arrive in: SUV or Sedans only). You must then make your way to the hatch and go into the hatch to win. Although you can only go into the hatch after you have lost the police. The police are not allowed to 'bunk' by the roads near the hatch, as this is considered an un-fair advantage and cheating.

Preferences: AA/Off - Cops/Off - Time/40mins - Weapons/Powerful - Blips/Team - Chat/Team

Battle Station (All-Aboard):

Story: One of the newer areas The Exiles have taken from LTA. Taken in Winter 2009 due to it's use and popularity by the public. The Broker/Dukes division use this line for general transportation use for its clan members, freely arriving at many of their spots of which they work, secure, deal, trade, etc. However, there is a small building underneath the train station. This is where Exiles manufacture weapons, mainly the powerful military issued AA-12 with Explosive Rounds. However, the police raided the station withing weeks of its use. Fortunately however, weapons had already been transport to Pier 45, where they would be sold to foreign gangs arriving from Canada. Ever since opening, many rival clans have been making deals with The Exiles to apprehend powerful weapons for cheap prices. However during November 28th 2009, The Exiles made a deal with the then dying and frail Dukes Biker Division who was trying to rebuild The Lost MC. Due to The Exiles ties with AoD, they thought it would be better to let AoD know of such trading. The AoD payed The Exiles good money to manufacture faulty guns, that overheated, back-fired and jammed. Within two Days of making the transaction with Dukes Biker Division, Exiles called AoD who then ambushed the Dukes Biker Division hideout, and then slaughtering the said members. Reports that long time biker and ex-convict Johnny Klebitz was one of the few that survived.

Rules: One person from each team must get a delivery tuck and park it around the East side of the station. Once they are both there, both teams must stand by there team's trucks. Note that you can not stock up prior to this. Once that has happened, all members must retrieve AA-12s with explosive rounds (you can not kill opponents during this period). Once you have received your shotgun, get into your team's delivery truck. Once that is done, your team can race to the Dukes Ring. Once that is done, your team can wait for the other team to arrive. However, the team must sacrifice one of their members to be killed, due to losing the race. This said sacrifice, must walk into the Ring and be shot from the opposing team above on the balcony. Once that is done the three remaining people on the losing team (4 members on each side for this game) can get into position; when ready the final shoot-out begins. The last person standing (or to die) will be the victor, and take the victory for team. Also note that once killed you can come back in the Ring, except the player that is 'sacrificed'. Finally, only the AA-12 can be used, unless you are on a respawn

Preferences: AA/Off - Cops/Off - Time/30mins - Weapons/Episodic - Blips/Leader - Chat/All

Pier 45 (Pier Pressure):

Story: Pier 45 was a hot-spot for drug deals, yet a gang had never thought of possessing it. That was until former AoD and Droog member noted such a fact. It was then that the Algonquin division silently acquired it from the state. Since requiring Pier45, The Exiles' drug trading profit has gone up by 7% since the few weeks it has been in use. The only deals that now take place are for foreign gangs from other states and countries. However, the actual Pier 45 building also receives the gang revenue, with a restaurant and in-door facilities open to the public, and recently, celebrities. However, The Exiles have since, used and upper room floor to torture and interrogate others, including gang members and rogue drug dealers. Many people have reported loud screams and cries for help during the late nights when the Pier is closed to the public. The police decided to check out the area, due to calls from locals at disposition. However, it was reported that cops did not find anything suspicious; however, it was believed that the cops where bribed, as they are now under witness protection.

Rules: Teams must stock up on pistols and grenades only. Then each team has two boats with two members on it: one driver, and one shooter. The driver can not shoot until the shooter has died. When out of pistol ammo, you can 'kamikaze' by charging a grenade and letting it explode when an opposing boat is near. However you can't get off your boat, and neither can you throw the grenade (this is the only time you are allowed to use a grenade). Going back to the start, when on the boats, all 4 boats need to be at a fair distance, and then the battle can start. There will be 5 rounds of this (best of 3) around 20mins each. The losers must be then tortured up in the centre of the top floor of the Pier after the match.

Preferences: AA/Off - Cops/Off - Time/NA - Weapons/Weak - Blips/All - Chat/All

Abandoned Hospital (Medication):

Story: One of the biggest drug dealing hotspots in Liberty City's history. With over 55 raids in the 3 years prior to 2004. However, since The Exiles acquired it in 2004, there have been only 4 raids. Including an attack by rogue criminals which killed many members. Since then, The Exiles have bought out both apartments north of the building, and each room is housed to Exile clan members, and in some cases, their family members. Using a system, The Exiles are warned of any suspicious people and incoming raids. When this happens, the island is put into 'lock-down', with many undercover Exiles staying in the cars of the Car Park. Not only that, but many Exiles in the apartments, lookout from balconies, including professional snipers; including gamesguru, Sellars and Wreckless Jake; known for being the best snipers in Liberty City. Using this system, The Exiles have kept their members, drugs and deals safe.

Rules: The Exiles must stock up on Snipers, Grenade Launchers, SMGs, and Pistols, but not Armour. The opposing team (the police) can use any vehicle but can only use: SMGs, Armour, Pistols and Rapid Fire/Pump Shotguns. Each team will have two teams of two people. The first two in The Exiles will wait in the Abandoned Hospital (this team should only pick up SMGs and Pistols). The first two of the police team must take out the two in the abandoned hospital. This will then give one side the advantage. Once those of the first two teams have been killed they can't return to help. The remaining two teams and the survivors, will now play a game of hide and seek, with the second Exiles team using Grenade Launchers and Snipers; The second Exiles team can not help in the first part of this match, and neither can the second police team. Once the 'hide & seek' part is over (once those people have been killed), we move onto the next part. If The Exiles win they must try and make it to any of their Turfs (except this one) whilst the cops must stop them. But they can only start at a police station, and not bunk on the island or the bridge to it. If the cops win, The Exiles must try and stop the police from escaping the island via the bridge for the remainder of the game (this means The Exiles can bunk at the bridge, but they can use any weapon except the RPG, AA-12 and Grenade Launcher); also cops can only escape the island on foot, and can't use a vehicle. This last section will decide who will be the winner.

Preferences: AA/Off - Cops/Off - Time/$1250 - Weapons/Episodic - Blips/Far - Chat/team

Bullish! The AOD have already got this one in the bag!

Is it just me or does it look really sloppy? It looked fine in the previews, but obviously it's all stretched out in the previews due to their being no usernames on the screen. It looks real messy and bunched up now confused.gif

Nitty: Having blips off adds to the challenge. It makes both sides play more cautiously and increases the longevity of matches. A series of blips on, run and gun matches would become repetitive and we'd all become bored of the event very quickly. Hence, why I've only opted to have one of those matches and insisted that people use their creativity when making their rules. Although blips set to far could work aswell smile.gif

Blips also add realism...but it's better no-one knows where anyone else is...

I'm thinking us Exiles must come up with a mini-game mode called Museum Piece.

It was inevitable wink.gif

Niall: Sure thing. I'll edit after 16 V LCPD.

Joe: Goodo. Just let me know once you're done. A map would probably take up too much room. However, snap map locations of all turf would make finding rival gangs turf a little more convenient smile.gif

Swooner: I'll get that edit done right after 16 V. f*cking awesome idea, man! It's going to be like an actual mission! biggrin.gif

EDIT:

Swooner and Niall: Scratch that. It's been done!

Aye! that's enough of that from you, sir.

I'll have a go at the map, which will be editable in PS allowing gangs turf to change colgate.gif

Or I'll try to find an Interactive map.

I've only just noticed this post. That does sound like a good idea actually. Maybe we could have our very own impossible trinity and finally have that AOD v HKTO v Exiles match wink.gif

We're going to have to wait for The Exiles to write up their rules first. Remember, be creative, guys! tounge.gif

Speaking of which, I'm going to revise out games and possibly change a thing or two.

I have no idea what you're talking about rolleyes.gif

Front page has been updated. I've added an "unclaimed turf" section for those that would like to gain some more turf. There's not much there right now but it will keep being updated once something springs to mind smile.gif
