Damn... sounds promising. Though, if the second one is great I must play the first one. But then again, the first one sucked BALLS gameplaywise.

Liking the look/style of the game already :].

Here's a little tip:
If you haven't played the game, you can't say it sucks balls.

Have a nice day.

As I said before, I played the demo. And gameplay is almost every time the same as it was in the demo, only more.

This said: the gameplay in the demo sucked BALLS. Felt chunky, played crappy...

Here is a tip: read through the topic, and have a nice day. sarcasm.gif

Playing as Lynch sounds awesome already. They better put some intense shootouts in there. Some Call of Duty moments wouldnt help.

But to say all of the gameplay sucks when you haven't played the full game is quite ignorant since you do not know of all of the gameplay styles which are in the finished product.

Here's a tip: Don't be ignorant, and you won't be seen as such.

Have a great day at school, son, look both ways before crossing the street, we love you.

Thing is, most of the times... and I said MOST of the times demos represent the full game gameplaywise. Yes, it only represents the story for maybe a poor tenth of the game. But there seems to be nothing wrong with the story.

As I said the gameplay/controlls sucked hard. And how is that ignorant? I'm not someone who wants to waste 50 eurodollars on a game when I know (after I played the demo) that the controlls are bad. I could also torrent it but then again: that's something against the rules so.

How is that being ignorant? It could also be ignorant of you not understanding that the controlls are bad and that someone can find the controlls bad.

And yes, I might get it for a eurodollar or five if I actually see it laying somewhere for that price. But I haven't. Up to that date I won't spend any money on a game that I can already predict that has clunky gameplay.

I played the Far Cry demo back in the day. It was fun, though the way the weapons felt was odd/bad in my opinion. A year or two later I bought the full game for 5 eurodollars and in fact, the controlls/feeling/gameplay was exactly the same. Story was longer but when the gameplay doesn't have a good, solid value it's done for.

So excuse me for being such an 'ignorant person'. I don't need your love our attitude, thanks for the effort though DAD.

New trailer: http://uk.xbox360.ig...d=9dkpl1re1fa1s

Looks brutal and intense. Loving the gritty, camera action style - especially with the chaos vs Lynch's tranquil scenes.

Really looks great.

I just now watched the new trailer on YouTube.

Let us all hope the game turns out as realistic and intense as the video biggrin.gif

I'm really looking forward to this and True Crime. It's nice to see that some developers are still striving for originality over going mainstream.

I bought Kane & Lynch: Dead Men after finding out it was made by the same people who made Freedom Fighters (one of my favourite games). I was very pleased with it, though I found it to be a bit too short for my liking.

I've been waiting for a sequel for ages, and ever since hearing about Dog Days in Play Gamer, I've been on edge about it! The footage I've seen so far is very intense and seems to delve a lot deeper into the duo's backstory. If the gameplay is as hectic and frantic as the videos make it out to be, then it sure is going to be good!

I have a feeling this is going to be a very disturbing and mature game.

This is interesting, you may remember Jeff Gerstmann getting sacked for giving Dead Men a bad review. He`s had a first-look impression on GiantBomb.

No news of any delays yet, so still May 31st.

I wasn't impressed with the first game (the story was good, but the actual gameplay was rather disappointing), but this seems pretty promising.

@fullmetal: You should really look harder, I bought it a year ago for five euros at Dixons. It's really a great game.

Yeah though most shops that sell games don't have the game anymore. Or well, I recently found it for 20 euro's which is too much for the game I guess. The story seems interesting but most of the times story really make up for broken/crappy gameplay (which was the case with the demo as I said before).

Maybe I'll just order it through some internet site if there are any good deals. Or, maybe 'my brother' can 'get' me the game. I just hope for them they'll make the gameplay better this time around and maybe add online co-op/multiplayer so the game has a longer lifespan + is worth buying (full priced).

I'm pretty sure I read Dog Days will have online co op for the story mode this time (as opposed to only the Fragile Alliance thing from the 1st being online) wink.gif

I quite liked the first game. It was mostly just because it felt different in style and tone than most games. And it was made by IOI which makes Hitman tounge.gif

And the action music was great I thought (composed by Jesper Kyd, who again, also made the tracks for the Hitmans).

It's nice to see Jeff Gerstmann being positive about Kane & Lynch 2. People with less integrity (or less brain power) might hold a grudge, or something...

Only in co-op. Lynch will be the main character (single player). Which is fine by me. He was the cooler of the two. I just hope they fixed cover, weapon mechanics. That was all that was really wrong with the first one.

I didn`t make that very clear. The co-op campaign is the same as the single player campaign, so you`ll be able to do all the levels as Kane, but you`ll have to have a partner play as Lynch.

In the SP version it`s an AI Kane.

It's nice to hear that they are trying to make shooting, cover system and AI better. Hopefully they're way better than in the first game.

Man I really loved the first one, it was more climatique than some of the Tarantino movies. It was so crazy and cinematic and scary, I f*cking shat myself in the prison mission. And the last one was beautifull. I can't really wait to play Dog Days, seeing it's even more thriller-like than 1.
