GTA:Virus Alert is a major modification for grand theft auto vice city

Set in 2002.You play the role of Jack Thompson, a new recruit of GAZP(goverment
association of zombie prevention)and just after your training vice city is infected so you are sent there.
You have a small computer chip in your suit which speaks to you called Susan.

Planned Feautures include
New Player Model
New Map areas and buildings
Some Missions
Some peds are turned into zombies
New weapons
New effects(blood ect)

Needed at the moment
Coders!!!!!!!
Moddlers
Texture editors
Particles file editors
rahkstar2.gif panic.gif

Here is some info.
Missions 0%
New textures 30%
New cars 1%
New Weapons 1%-replaced ingram with skorpion SMG
HUD 0%
Main.scm 23%-done some stuff
animations 20%-got a beta zombie walk
particle effects 90%-blood,fire are done
Player model 90%-
Map 11%(added some overturned buses crashed cars ect)

Were also working on getting some missions in the game.


THE ORANGE RADIOACTIVE SKY WILL NOT BE IN MOD ANYMORE.
It reduces draw distance and makes the game freeze too easily

This mod is nothing special. See other VC Total Conversions and Major Modifications and you'll see that there are 1000 of Zombie Conversions for Vice City and other GTAs. Why is everyone so fond of zombies?! mercie_blink.gif
And do you have experience in making such big mod, except for texturing? monocle.gif

There are already 3 good VC zombie mods. One released (Long Night) and other 2 still in progress, but with much more stuff (Requiem and Pedrising).

I really dont see why a new one is needed, and you dont even have anything usefull done.

Yes, and not to mention Zombie mods for other GTAs: SA, IV. And you are right, he has to add something special to this mod, or it will be just a copy of other Zombie Mods. alien.gif

I do. I see he only made retextures. Thats all he is showing.

don't worry dude keep making this mod and doing ya own thing just make sure ya don't use and other work from other mods and relax when ya on the forums we don't want to see you get banned because you over react to some negative feed back tounge.gif good luck with this mod i will be tracking. wink.gif

Undead, you are wrong. He used original VC's SWAT Model and added little blood on it and white glassess, his model is nothing like your model, check it. wink.gif

Im not saying i have no experience,i can script im just not that good i can texture and this is only meant to be a small mod for
people to enjoy before pedrisng/requiem come out because theres not going to be a beta version only the final for those mods.

also im new to modding anyway so go easy on me i just wanted to try a zombie mod because i love zombie films and games(like deadrisng icon14.gif )

Yes i will admit it looks a lot like yours but its not,its the original swat texture from the game i added a gas filter to the side MY SELF and swear i have not stolen yours,however if you are still unconviced ill take the gas filter off.

and the reason the long night hud and other long night things are on there is because i have parts of long night installed (probably should have reinstalled suicidal.gif ) but there not being stolen they wont be in the mod.

Also go to the youtube link in my first post AND READ THE DESCRIPTION IT SAYS WEAPONS,CARS,PLAYER MODEL(the one by undead)WILL NOT BE USED IN THIS MOD AS THEY ARE BY OTHER PEOPLE

Also undead after that trailer and i know its only been one or two days i uninstalled your player model and made my own
with help from wikus because he really wanted to make a skin.

Does anybody besides wikus have any faith in this mod???

Also its not like undead horror mod
the reason the zombies are there is nuclear radiation,so techniclly they would not be all gory and half decayed and that crap

yeah i do... i think. tounge.gif narr i think what ya doing is cool, everyone starts somewhere and why not on a "small" zombie mod creating just a run around small zombie mod for gta vice city and not a TC is probaly a smart thing for you too do because its not a major project to work on. hope to see more progress in it wink.gif

No there infected with nuclear radiation thats why there green and thats only the beta texture.

ok radio active zombies sounds cool!!!! how many types of peds will be zombies and what to you plan on doing with the toher peds? just let them walk around? tounge.gif

this is the story.

In 1990 a power plant is built in vice city
2002-it has a meltdown with a special type of nuclear material that
has just been invented.

this causes some peds to turn into zombies,while other peds say normal(about 50/50 of each normal/zombies)

Your then sent in to eradicate any zombies(possibly with help from survivors if i get round to it)

so this a lot different from long night,kinda like requiem i suppose though. icon14.gif

i can code just not very well i wanted a coder to make the peds attack you without putting riot cheat in or some crap.
and also make it so you cant be wanted by the police.And prefrebly get rid of the police alltogether.


at the moment im working on the map,adding crashed cars,overturned school bus ect.


also how do you add the flames near the cars,like in the requiem and 28 days later mod trailers
