I think close to perfect!!!

Looks good, the mirrors should be black though.

By the way, will you release the E-150 van you posted pictures of a while back?

Looking good, but has miss accuracy.

It has 1994 Police Package rims, 1994+ rambar, the mirrors as ^ stated, wrong lightbar setup, no NYPD license plate.

Here, Feel free to compare. I made mine with tips from an ex NYPD officer. It is all accurate and even has correct light setup, which was the hardest of all!

I am a person that really wants things accurate, like my version. It's your project, yeah! I just wanted to point out what would make it like the real ones.

Hey, what's vinyl by the way?

Yeah sure, but what work do you mean? The vinyl? What is it?

Are you refering to the paintjob/liveries?

Oh sure. They're 1993 liveries, though. So not 1994.

Ohi Compeast,

first I want to thank you for your great job, your cars give me amount of fun I'd never expect from playing a video game.

My question is if there is any chance to get this and '91 model equipped in LAPD Aerodynic and release to public. At this moment I know one ELS model of LAPD Caprice and since it's my number one car I'd be happy to see it done by a professional on basis of a really good model.

By the way, Poctik, you should add this black part the mirrors of the Caprice had.

Has anybody think about 2.0 version of 1991 Civilian Caprice?

I mean with better modelled wheels, because planar texture looks very ugly :(

In 3d this wheel will look awesome :)

I never knew cabs had bigass bullbars like that. Or are you making some crazy modded taxi like what they had in Midnight Club 1?

Dat push bar!

It's not a push bar, it's a bumper guard. In the 90-s and in the beginning of 2000's was these bumper guards. It was a rare type.

Well... it’s basically the same...

By the way, I guess you already know about it but the numbers of the taxi sign should be the same than the license plate ones.

Yeah i know, it's WIP... It's called a medallion number. You can see a example on the video with FCV P72 1999, above

For the license plate do you use bump maps or it's simply a texture? It looks pretty good...

By other hand, do you know which medallions were used in the 1980’s? Talking about this (spoiler):

I didn't found any picture of medallions that was used in the 80's. :/

Check this link http://www.chauffeurbadges.com/24.html There some of unidentified medallions, without a expiration year.

Its 1999, but this is the closest i can find so far (lol converted into a clock!) that thing in the middle is the pop rivet holding the medallion into the car's body.

I think that Compeast converted a Checker to IV. I don't know how it ended up, though.

@universe I finally made some research, and Thanks to Wikipedia, Apple used as a reference to horse racing courses. New York city had a number of horse racing courses, so the sports writer  (john Fitz Gerald) called it "the big apple"

@roadrunner, liberty city needs the checker badly.
