Everyone knows "The Three Leaf Clover" is highly based on the movie "Heat"(Gamplay Wise), the cutscene of the actual robbery is a parody of a 1991 film "Point Break", starring Keanu Reaves, Patrick Swayze, & Gary Busey. Now normally I would just find a video on youtube and send Gta_talk the link, but unfortunately there is no video of it on youtube or any other site I can find. To make matters worse my video capture card dosen't work, so im asking anyone who's reading this to if they can get a video of the scene (Its in the later half of the film)

Thank you, but Im looking for the whole scene (mainly the part were the undercover cop talks to the security guard on the floor and starts shooting) because the "TLC" has it down to a tee, but you can have this cookie if you want cookie.gif

It's in sh*tty quality and with japanese subtitles. The scene you're writing about is at 31:26.
It must be pretty good movie. I must find it for myself. smile.gif

The scene is more heavily based on Heat. The Only thing they really took from point break was the bit you said about The guard talking to the guy on the floor like Eugene does to Luis.

But the fact that he started to shoot is also a clear renfrence too, right?

Well yeah but a whole thread to explain that one little piece of a cutscene that we already know is heavily based on one movie takes inspiration from another.. its a bit much dont ya think? Like you couldve just posted this in the Secrets and Easter egg section.... Anybody who has seen point break would know that your right so there's no real need to even prove it.

Yeah I guess your right, but my motive was to get proof of it so I could add it to the Secret & Easter Egg thread (You need some sort of evidence or gta_talk won't add it)

I thought you only needed evidence if it was in game like a hidden object or a sign etc. Like there are other movie references in there that don't have evidence to back them up. Anybody who has seen the movie can verify that its a genuine reference to that scene so surely thats evidence enough no?
