What's the reasoning behind having milk come in bags in Canada, Montenegro and a few other countries?

Probably because it costs less to make, easier to recycle and not to mention would take up less room in the fridge.

We get milk in plastic bags, probably for the same reason Rebel mentioned. Certain companies sell them in bottles too but the risk involved is more since they have to be handled careful and all. And knowing how the delivery guys handle things here, that is not a viable option.

I can't imagine a bag of milk taking up less space than a carton of milk in the fridge door, or a bottle for that matter. All of the rest seems about right though. Thanks for the replies.

We had milk in bags when I switched school districts. Suppose to be cheaper.

Nothing beats drinking out of a carton though.

I have had milk in cartons, pouches and bottles. Apart from a slight difference in taste depending on the manufacturer, there isn't much that could tell them apart.

It's normal milk, exactly like you get here in the bottles and such. Its not like that packaged milk you get in the non cold isles.

EDIT: Like Jake said, the Lurpak might be too hard from the fridge and you end up tearing your bread in the process.

I think that's what I meant. Maybe. I can be too dramatic at times.

I think the real problem isn't with the Lurpak, but with the cheap ass bread you people are trying to smear that sh*t on. Seriously, throw out that cheap Wonderbread sh*t and be a man and go by some real bread like Ezekiel bread. You can spread semi-cured concrete on Ezekiel bread and not lose a crumb. My answer. Best answer.

And what the f*ck is that? I love my Hovis 50/50 or my Farmhouse bread smile.gif

I have a random question though that I've pondered about for ages; If you stand at the front of a moving bus, do you land in the same spot, or land nearer the back of the bus? It's not one of those things I want to find out myself. tounge.gif

Onto the missing people again, where are -

- Vegas
- R2D2
- EmSixteen
- 40oz
- Cerbera

Maybe they still post, but I never see them. GTAforums is too friendly without them, lol.

40oz commited forum suicide if I remember correctly, I think the rest are still around/lurking.

And uh at the question you ask, do you mean where would you land if you walked out in front of a moving bus? I mean it kind of sounded like where would you land if you were on a bus..which wouldn't really make much sense.
I'd say you'd probably end up both ends, I mean you might hit the bus, and be carried away by it until it stops but I'm sure there would be some sort of blood/body pieces trail from where you hit it, which would mean it would be behind the bus wink.gif

Nope, the 'one that doesn't make sense' was the right question, didn't notice how badly I worded it till now. If you got onto a bus and was stood at the front, and then it started moving and got upto a good speed, then you jump up in the air, where would you land? Same spot or further towards the back?

I'm not 100% sure but I believe you would end up in the back of the bus, but on the floor like the image below.

Correction:

If the bus is going at constant speed then you would not fly anywhere, you would jump up then land exactly where you were. This is because even though the bus is traveling at full speed, so are you

However if the bus was accelerating and you jumped then you would move backwards, imagine the situation, if the bus is traveling at 10mph when you jump then because it is accelerating when you land it is moving at 12mph, you have been traveling at 10mph while you were in the air where as the bus has been traveling at an average speed of 11mph, so while you were in the air the bus traveled an average 1mph faster than you, so inside the bus the affect on you would be you would jump backwards at 1mph in relation to the bus

The same occurs if the bus is slowing down, if you jumped and it was traveling at 12mph then when you landed it was traveling at 10mph, you have been traveling on average faster than the bus so the affect of you inside the bus would be that you move forward.

Are you sure you live in Canada?

In Canada, milk bags is the most common thing there is. That's how I always get my milk, I get 3 1L milk bags in a pack. I much prefer a milk bag than a carton or something like that.

You'd stay where you were. It has something to do with pressure equalization I believe. I'm no good at physics or sciences but I do know that you won't go flying down the bus like you do when the pillock of a driver decides to stomp on the brakes.

I have a question:

How do you embedd videos from youtube to this site. I use the BB code given here but all I get is this *For example, i'll use one of my favorite songs*

HTML
<object width="445" height="364"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/GnHLgxKUsEA&hl=en&fs=1&border=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/GnHLgxKUsEA&hl=en&fs=1&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="445" height="364"></embed></object>

That looks like HTML mumbo-jumbo to me. The answer is simple. Take the numbers seen after the "v=" and insert them into this code, like so.

CODE

There's a tag called the YouTube tag. It's essentially the same as any other BB Code tag, but with the word "youtube" in square brackets, like this:

No, just get the number in your chosen YouTube video. They all have them, just after "v=" like I said. That's all you need.
