Ok, basically, you must use the US exe version. The installer does not supply the .exe to meet the anti-warez requirements. Please copy your own gta_sa.exe from your SA dir to your LCS dir , or get the US 1.0 version elsewhere (I don't care).
Release notes are in the setup file.

Alright i've tested it now.
The loadscreens flickers at first, then in the first cutscene i see some suitcases, but no persons hold them and there drives a woman in a car, but it's invisible. mercie_blink.gif The missions and the overall mod is pretty much fun and the voices are setted up perfect. Keep up the excellent work! icon14.gif

I installed it, and started it up. It doesn't start at all, the hourglass off the pointer disappears and that's it.

Maybe it's because of the ENB series, can anyone tell me the names of ALL the files needed to run ENB, so I can delete them?

Also, I installed it in my existing SA folder, tried it as a solitary install, and also, nothing happens.

Wow! This is the first SA mod I've seen which uses its own audio handling method (except an upcoming mod of mine). I haven't tried it out yet, but it looks like it's a lot better than the old beta. Good job!

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that this install ust go into its own directory.
As per testing/compatibility, it is fully self-sufficient to run by itself.

Gundog, try deleting d3d9.dll

hell, i'm never has a chance to see this mod, because it's always crashed! i think this uncompability with some systems was removed...
BTW, nice work, guys! Good luck with next beta and the final release!

Bloody hell this mod is a blast from the past, haha, surprised my name is still on the list considering most of my work has either been scraped or replaced with different versions!

Just checked out the beta and I have to say...
I'm dissapointed.

First, The map has most of my models converted from the VC engine with no actual improvement confused.gif
They were made when I had no f*cking Idea about 3D and they suck because of that (take for example, The Dolls House, where you can see 2 doors that are flat planes instead of actual "doors" and, when you guys were converting them to a higher engine, you didn't even fix that :facepalm:
Second, the prelightning job on them is terrible, and so are the textures cryani.gif why on earth did you keep the PSP textures? They won't look any good on higher resolutions (for example, people who use the game on 1680x1050 like me suicidal.gif )
Also, there's a lot of buildings that were made on the VC beta and now are missing for example: Leone's Casino, Fully Cocked, Big Shot Casino, FIDL (or whatever its name was in the place where you have supa save in gta3) to name a few.
Toni and Vincenzo have really weird walking animations (probably because of rigging, probably because of SA's animation sucking).

Oh, and... fourth: WHY ON EARTH DID YOU BOTHER CONVERTING MY VEHICLE MODELS FROM VC? :facepalm: If you guys had the real LCS models, what makes you think it could be a good idea to convert my models? (for example, the Ferry and the Avening Angel's bike).

On the other (bright) side I liked what you've done with missions since at least for the time I tried it it didn't hang up and the cutscenes were really pretty.
The work on Forth Staunton wasn't the best but it was good at least.

I'm dissapointed mostly because, after all these years (I started LCS VC in 2005) first, it isn't done, and second you guys are STILL just using a bunch of models made primarly by me and hackman.
It's just sad.

Don't look at this post as something attacking your mod, but more of a real, objective critic.

To finish this up:
I never said my models were good, but I think that after all this time and conversion, all the work I put on them is just mentioned as "Special Thanks to TripleAs Director of the abandoned GTA:LCS->VC conversion project." it's just... too little.
It's not that I wanted more, but its just... everybody thinking that Dageron made all this bothers me.

PS: Make the community and yourselves a favor, remake all the lousy textures and put some decent work on the models.

TripleAs, those are very nice points, however, the old team is no longer working ont he project (except me). All I do is scripts. There about 5 people working on this right now, who are in reality newbs in modeling/etc.
Viger74 and I are working on scripts, but I have absolutely nothing to do with models.

Want to help out? We'll gladly accept your help.

You forgot to mention one thing: what's changed since beta 3.0.1 ?

And the most important

Does crashes in ammunation (and while exiting game) still exists? Because of that I couldn't complete this beta because game was always crashing in "Snuff" in ammunation.

This topic has been closed as this mod contains the complete SA engine and works without requiring a pre-installed SA version.
This is considered warez and therefor not allowed on these boards.


EDIT: Topic opened again, the author will modify their mod, so that will not run without a proper GTA San Andreas pre-installed.

It's the same version without the executable.
Fall semester is in, and I personally will not add anything to this mod until I get some free time, which will be in January. Other team members might, and there are rumors of a release in november, but that's all i can tell you.
