hey everyone i'm recieving this error I try to run GTA 4

The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail.

And this is what is from the application log

Activation context generation failed for "C:\Users\dylan\Downloads\GTAIV\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV.exe". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC80.ATL,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="8.0.50727.762" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

I'm using Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 64-bit. thanks

Here's a solution that I read on another forum where the user got the same error while running Bioshock. See if it works for you.

Uninstall AVG, if you have it installed.
Uninstall the VC++ redistributable from Programs and Features in Control Panel.
Reboot your PC.
Reinstall the VC++ redistributable. Should be present in the game disc. If not, you can download it from Microsoft's website.
Reboot the PC.
Now, try the game again. If necessary, reinstall the game.
