Nope that's pure timecyc mod biggrin.gif

@grandtheftauto: Hmm I don't know, are you sure you installed everything as the readme says, and you don't have other mods?
Are you using EFLC or GTA? It works both in EFLC and GTA for me.

@stephen That bike is the hakuchou which you can find in EFLC (well you can download it for GTA IV too tounge.gif )

EDIT: Working on cloudy and rainy days now.

I strongly recommend to install ENB series on your GTA because it makes the reflections very high quality. You don't have to enable it, just install it and the reflections will be HQ.

Sorry, Where I can find it?

Thanks

Ok so long time no update, but release is here.

Version 3 includes:
- new sunsets
- a bit tweaked nights
- new extra sunny and foggy weather set
- a few tweaked weather sets
- and a nightvision!

Pictures in the first post, download link today.

EDIT: Uploaded it on gtainside.com as well, I guess it's waiting for approval smile.gif

Looks good. But I can't help but be disappointed when I compare this to the photorealistic screenshots of ENB running with some timecycle tweaks.

Well yeah, but it's just a timecyc mod, so it'll work with EFLC and GTA IV's latest patches. Unfortunately I can't make it like ENB Series, since it has a lot of new effects.

Are the nights really this dark?

http://img59.imagesh...1/lp6704sv2.png

What about the performance hit? And this is very realistic, I'd recommend this over any other mod as it looks very crisp and doesn't have all the unrealistic crappy fog, bloom and other stuff that other mods have.

Yes those are all unedited shots. All I did was go in display settings and removed the hud.

Yeah I'm doing something like that, but I'm gonna make a much more colorful version. I set the desaturation level to a higher value so players can adjust to their liking (of course I'm gonna include how you should have the configuration smile.gif )
BTW another picture to show you how dangerous to fly a helicopter at night biggrin.gif (don't worry it's 0:00, so from now on the world will be more bright)

Wow, that's so true, I have a lot exp from flying with helicopter at night... biggrin.gif (In one mission I did like 5 times suicide, cause there was night lol.gif )
And thanks for this AWESOME mod!! icon14.gif cookie.gif

My problem: On noon and day, the textures of the buildings which are far away are very bad, is there a way to improove this? to lower the view distance, or the quality.
I would prefere the IV days, is there a way to do this?

Nights: 10/10
Days: 3/10

Nope GTA uses a lod system which makes the buildings in the distant less detailed. I bet they added that foggy weather type so you can't really see that, but I don't think it's that bad. Still looks much better than the original.

BTW been working on update, and since I'm in love with this picture:
http://2.bp.blogspot...Los_Angeles.jpg

I decided to make LA style sunset for New York as well. It happens on smoggy days, so the whole sky will turn yellow.
I also brightened up daytime a bit, and made the textures a bit sharper (at least I think they look sharper), so here are a few teaser pics.

Well to be honest I changed a lot since then. The sunsets and the rainy weather is pretty much the same. I'll upload it if any1 is interested in it.
There are a few pictures on my steam account:

I'll upload it to front page.

Hey bud,

This mod looks wonderful, I have it installed but haven't opened it up to see for myself. I was wondering before I load up the first time, does it matter if I have a Time Sync mod which syncs the game to my real time? I don't think it would effect anything as it just simply changes the time to my real time, it is an ASI mod not anything else.

Nah that wouldn't affect anything, other than your in game time is gonna be the same as the time on your computer.
Also I released a new version on gtapolicemods.com and I forgot to upload the new one here, so I'm gonna upload it soon.

EDIT: Alright update in the first post, and sorry guys I can't optimize it to ENB, since I have the latest patch, and ENB doesn't work properly there.

Well not really tbh, if there will be any updates, it'll be on lcpdfr.com / gtapolicemods.com
I'm saying this, because I did make a lot of changes since my latest version, but it's not done yet.

Ok sure. Thanks.

I think you should try editing the shaders as well, it could give you more possibilities to edit how the game looks, just like what DKT70 did with his. I have to say, your mod has the best night lighting I ever seen in GTA IV.
