Yeah why would the building containing her killers would be so heavily guarded in the first place if the killer was a drunken driver?
He's an arms dealer.

And the new Concept Art
I realy liked what they said on the last seconds of the video. The game realy has what they said and it will be the greatest serie from the game (I think).

Looks absolutely fantastic. Got a very "Jason Bourne" cinematic feel from watching the trailer. I never really got into the Splinter Cell games, but this looks like it will be a pretty big draw-in for me.
Exactly my thoughts. I've never been a huge fan of the Splinter Cell series but I've enjoyed the first one and Double Agent. I like the fact that they're focusing more on action with this one. The "Mark and Execute" feature looks pretty awesome too.

I was worried when it was originally "canceled" but now I'm glad to see what they've done with it. It's a must buy for sure.

I am so pissed they delayed it. I was just about to pre-order it and everything. I just hope Red Dead Redemption doesn't get pushed.
They said they have developed RAGE engine for this game and have worked on it longer then on GTA4. So if they delay it it will come as a surprise. They had enough time to make everything right.
As far as Conviction, remember the old concept and how they said something about release date in 2011. So 2010 sounds nice when you think about it.

I have every SC on PC, DA included, but I like the PS2 version of Double Agent better. So if this is released for PC, I will buy it, but I wont consider DA on PC to be canon, PS2 version had a better storyline so I'll just stick to that one for the plot.
Agreed. The PS2 version was really just a new chapter of the same old Splinter Cell formula (a good thing), fitting quite well with the previous three games, whereas the PC version obviously went in a new direction. Although I like 'em both, the former is much better in ways.
Anyway, still looking forward to this.

Looks sweet, shall be fun to find interesting and creative ways to take down enemies. Still can't say I'm a big fan of the mark and execute though. Wouldn't mind it as much if you only marked them for your radar I guess.

There's not many things better than killing people other than killing people in co-op. The co-op campaign is going to be awesome, really looking forward to that.

Man, Sam Fisher is so badass now. I can't believe anyone would argue on the Snake side of things when we used to have the Sam Fisher vs. Snake topic a while back.
I always liked Sam. Since Double Agent they really developed him into a great character and I like it (although again, DA on PS2 had a better story and Sam was had a more developed personality there). Usually I would just vote for Snake but now I'd have to seriously think about it.
Also Michael Ironside is the man!

Is that the final boxart of Conviction? Or Ubisoft will change it before the game release?
I'll put this game into my next year's shopping cart along with Mafia II and Red Dead Redemption. I'm very curious about Fisher's story. Is Lambert still alive? What happen with 3rd Echelon? Etc. For the gameplay itself, no doubt.. I'm gonna consider this game as one of the best stealth-action game ever made.
