No. He doesn't work for Rockstar Games anymore...

it's a different game. originally made for 360/PS3 but the devs didn't get enough budget so they develop the game specifically for tablet. the concept is pretty revolutionary and unique though; set during 1979 in Iran, we can choose different paths to execute the mission.

Navid Khonsari, the brain behind this game, was former Rockstar guy. the fact that AGENT was originally developed for Xbox/PS2—that time Khonsari still in Rockstar—maybe this 1979 THE GAME inspired by Houser's AGENT. just my opinion tounge.gif

Last time I checked, it was still set in the 70s. Because of this, I think it would be really cool if Agent were extremely stylised and had a really unique soundtrack.

what do you mean by "extremely stylised"?

Frequently used dynamic soundtrack, cinematic lighting (moreso than other R* games) for cutscenes, vibrant colours, that sort of stuff.

That sounds very much like Max Payne 3's presentation. It could also be a game where you can play both sides, Communism vs The West, or you become a double agent. I can't imagine Rockstar creating a game like this & making it Pro-American & UK, or Good vs Evil.

Rockstar's catalogue of franchises is quite extensive now & there are many which deserve a sequel, Bully is one such game. However, I'm not going to scoff at a new R* North developed IP.

Exactly ! This proves their next game is AGENT. Rockstar always hints their next game in every of their games.

That's an interesting idea. "Pick your side" and work as either side (there really is no good V evil in such a case, just perspective) being able to chose to be a double/triple agent or something would be great in a game .I don't think I've seen a game that TRULY gives that level of freedom. It's always restrained.

Irrelevant for me, though, as i am not (yet) a PS gamer, but i do keep half an eye on this...

I'm going off the idea of a cold war plot for Agent. If you look at most of the TV shows and movies about spies in the cold war era, they are nearly all symbolic of the cold war, and instead of realism used fantasy and sci-fi themes to tell their stories. James Bond, Our Man Flint, The Avengers/New Avengers, Jason King, The Man From U.N.C.L.E, Mission: Impossible and The Saint were what people watched in that era.

'Spy-fi' as opposed to real spy fiction (or even reality) is a much richer genre to take influences from. It would probably add more humour and have better gameplay too - think of all those crazy weapons and gadgets the spies and their enemies posessed.

Agent has been listed as "coming soon" in the Social Club since its inception, actually.

@above, it could be custom made.

Uh, let the fiction out of this. The Cold War is a little exploited genre and therefore has plenty of options and settings to choose.

No, it's in a mission. I tried to take a screenshot myself when I was playing but the Snapmatic servers are down.

Perhaps announcement in October? Or is it a little too early with V out just about a few days ago?

I'm a little worried for this game after Max Payne. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED MP3, I just felt the single player could have been better if it wasn't for the tacked on feeling multiplayer. I think the same can be said for GTAV. Again, amazing game, but just seemed like corners were cut for multiplayer

as for Max Payne 3, i agree with you. but GTA V? nope. GTA V is a great game. its singleplayer story mode is f*cking A! i even don't remember when the last time i really enjoyed a single game as much as i am with GTA V. so i hope AGENT will have the same value with this Rockstar North's behemoth. and i believe the Scotland team will deliver it... as always.
