v1.5 is just ausum
just the nitro wasnt looking so gud,so i replaced with muzzle flash and it is looking pretty neat
i think us should try it in the next version

Oh, and as you've done some of these insects, any chance you could make few more variations? Like one effect with one fly, another with one mosquito, and same with butterfly/grasshopper and similar? I think they would come in use if they spawn in smaller groups, rarely seen 10 butterflys at once.

It's 5 times better I'd say.
Also, Function-X, I modified some textures so that the blood looks much realistic and also the smoke and muzzle flashes. Can I release it? (credits will be given, of course)

Function-X- is a natural person , he have to balance between gaming and his life
either his work at school or at work or even with his friends , he can't make his life all about Gaming.
besides , Such a perfect Mod can't be done in few minutes.

and @Function-X-, Can you do something like a kind of "Death Effect" using CLEO files? Like when you get hurt, the screen flashes red for a sec, and when your health is low,the screen becomes redder and redder, (if possible blurrier and blurrier). It's just a suggestion. I know a similar kind of CLEO mod exists, but, thats not pretty much stable.

About requests of having my effects in your modding pack or whatever, go ahead people, i don't really care, i did this as a free modification for everyone to enjoy.
but i just wanna point out that modified versions of my effects 'might' be unstable, use them on your own risk, i really waste a lot of time making them as perfect as possible.
Regarding the bad performance on some PC's, i think i forgot to say this earlier, but compressing the textures inside effectsPC could really help you, Just make sure it's DXT3 if the texture has an alpha channel.
About the BF3 videos, honestly i don't mean to brag or anything, but all those stuff are highly possible and very easy to do, the only difference would be is the amount of textures 'sprayed', and the bloom/brightness thing (not sure about the correct term here) when explosions happens, not to mention the lightning on the ground and walls, they really add up.
But these videos make a really great inspiration, keep posting them people !
Also wanted to mention something about the GTA V explosions seen in the trailers, i really do hope that Rockstar try polishing them a bit more, because at the moment they look prehistoric, compared with today's standards.

I have few requests, about gunflashes. Can you make one gunflash that is just "puf" of smoke, instead of a flash? And few more variations of silenced gunflash?

@oksu - AFAIK, gunflashes are located on the weapon's txd itself? You could simply replace the texture to a blank one.

There are two types of gunflashes, one that is non-animated and included in weapon model, and another one which is controlled by effects.fxp. If the model gunflash isn't found, the gunflash from effects.fxp is used. So far, only one gunflash is used, but DK22Pac is making Gunflash script which fixes few gunflash related bugs and allows to use any gunflash particle you want.

If you add a little bloom to the fire texture it looks close to IV.

Try to put a black/dark grey texture on sphere. It will eliminate ALL the glow (NoS, fire, explosions).
About the weapons, put a black/dark grey texture on gunglow
