No muzzle on left weapon, happens with all dual guns regardless of mods.

@007_Myers  I agree with your second Idea , It can be made as an ASI mod . 
But the Thunder , has chances that It wont match with Timcyc. Like the edge of the Thunder texture.
(Its my point of view)

What are you sayin' bro ? (i think it was zaz) didn't zaz already created a script that contain pF_lightning.cs right ? :T .. so all u need to do is the texture (make it bigger i suppose ?) :T

 

EDIT:And don't worry ... the lightning will be match in the timecyc (your own timecyc) .... im using gta v timecyc to sa it look's good ...

Hi, I would like to remove the same things as Semih95, but every time I use StreamIniExtender.cs it crashes my game after it's loaded. Do you know of any other way?

Hey SergeantSavidge,

I just tried to find out the textures and the name of them. the textures name are leaf1 and leaf2 you can see them in effectsPC. I looked in effects.fxp and there are several entries with leaf1 and leaf2 maybe the effects get removedd when we change this settings ? We should try out... or better someone who knows how to edit effects.fxp show us what entries we have to delete/change

If using CLEO 4.3, rename StreamIniExtender.cs to StreamIniExtender.cs3.

 

Another way would be to edit effects.fxp.

search for these effect names:

prt_sand and (I think) prt_wheeldirt

You then have to fool around with values from FX_INFO_SIZE_DATA for both effects.

 

Try changing stuff like VAL: 8.000 to something like VAL: 3.000

 

Restart the game so effects.fxp gets reloaded. Reloading a savegame is not enough.

 

You will restart the game pretty often until you find the correct entries that you have to change and until you like the new values.

Jetpack:

effects.fxp = jetpack

effectsPC.txd = shpere_CJ, blaze1, blaze2, blaze3, blaze4, fireball2

 

Nitro:

effects.fxp = nitro

effectsPC.txd = shpere_CJ, shpere

 

Probably "nitropurge" as well.

I think that is dirt effects. Try looking up dirt in txdworkshop and replace it with a transparent or black texture. Basic texturing knowledge required.

 

Anyway, has Function-X or anyone made a tutorial on how to mod effects.fxp the right way? like what those numbers mean. If they were given different lines each, it would be easy like making a timecyc. I wanna edit the size, the lifetime (decay rate) and remove the orange blur on fires. It kinda flickers at high speed. Please help.

 

EDIT: Is it possible to edit values in effects.fxp while the game is still loaded? Like enbseries.ini or something like that. I kinda have bad photographic memory and I can't distinguish yellow from orange given that they are not loaded or displayed at the same time. It's really bugging me. Also, again, I ask. What is the order of values in the effects.fxp? Is it something like: scale:x,y,z; rotation: x,y,z; and so on? I really wanna learn

@TheD94&oksa8: Yup it's made by DK, i improved the effect a bit more now, back then it looked kinda silly, anyway it was meant to be released with the new version.

@MRZ: Surely there will be a new version. Blue flames and explosions ? but what they are going to be used for ?

@perotorca: Did you really have to double post and then quote the entire thing ? The tire skidmarks is just a texture not a particle, you can find it in older versions...


Insomnia strikes, so i did a couple of blood effects to be used in the future... Hopefully ?
blood_shot > A blood being sprayed from a gun shot, IV style a bit.
blood_car > Blood with lots of glass flying around, to be used for windshield crashes.
blood_water > Underwater effect for someone being shot in the water, or maybe a shark attack ?
blood_armour > Well not really a blood, but some smoke from being shot while having an armour.
blood_detach > Blood spraying from dismembered limbs.

I did them because the default blood effect sucks and refuse to be fully controlled, and anyway lots of modders used the blood_heli particle which wasn't really suitable in most cases, maybe i will do one more for melee attacks ? Or other situations perhaps ?
Oh, and no pictures since they are not used for now, not a fan of teasing around really. Have some more muzzle flash instead.

I've lost every of my modded Overdose Effects and Project Reality.

 

I'll do some improvements as soon as possible for the sh*tty smoke.

You do know that this is just a non-soft particle issue and can't be fixed with SA's default particle system?
