the thing is that it's the escalade 3.0 and i can't find any without the tint

Edit the textures, some cars may have overlays on the windows. Just remove that or make it a bit lighter and you're good to go.

Well for the escalade there's no luck because there isn't a texture for the glass. Also, the cross hair for shooting is a bit off when I get close to a enemy I can't even hit them. Another thing is if I set FOV at 100 which is more accurate to how humans perceive things when in a vehicle the aim is a bit off but if I leave it at default the aim is fine that is when doing a drive by. On foot, it's off just a tad bit if you know how to fix this please tell me the solution.

I love this mod, but you should add the option to have the camera tilt. So when your in a heli its not always lined up with the horizon.

With the first person mod 1.22 (which used to work fine) in 1.0.0.4, the game crashes to desktop after it finishes loading my saved game. Running xliveless (as I did when it worked previously), ICEnhancer 1.2, and on Windows 7 x64.

EDIT: Crashes when I remove ICEnhancer too. This is on a pretty much fresh install of GTA4, with only some handling and visual mods. The crashing stops when I remove FirstPerson.asi.

-Hey, I have been using this mod for about a day and it workED fantastic. Recently, my camera has randomly started doing the "drunk" animation, even when I'm not drunk. Also, cars keep accelerating themselves and I can't stop them. Please help! I love this mod, it makes the game MUCH more enjoyable!-

Never mind, it seems launching the game via steam screwed it up tounge.gif

Im not sure this is a bump.
But...
Could you make a version where:
1. when you jump, and fall the cam doesnt go to Niko's thighs..
2. STILL have a head... I hate the fact that im walking around LC with no head :S sorry Realist freak here biggrin.gif

Anyone, is there a mod similiar to this that still allows the camera view to tumble around when you jump off of a building, get thrown out of a windshield, bail out of a car, AND is compatible with Steam version 1.0.7.0??? please help me!!!

Hello how do i disable fpm 1.22 while driving, i made my own cam incar in voffset i realy want to use that one while driving.
when on foot i want to use FPM 1.22 again.

have a peek at my handling modification.

I got the script hook and asi loader and both .asi and .ini files are in the GTA IV directory, but when I play the game the main menu options doesn't come up (like Play, Graphics, Exit etc).

when i crash or jump or whatever.. the camera doesnt become crazy like you guys... i have the version 1.0.7.0.. the mod works... BUT IT DOESNT SHAKE when i crash with a bike or i jump... i doesnt move...

This really is a great mod. Unfortunately - and I have found many online who agree - it is ruined by the fact that:
1) It takes over your standard bonnet camera.
2) You can't disable the mod in game like you can SNT and most other ASI mods.

it seems on-foot you added a new camera option but in vehicle you simply replaced the bonnet view. Some cars, especially custom done cars, need the normal bonnet cam, bikes in particular since uve disabled the horizon on them. Simple fix if you can't bring back the bonnet cam.. let us enable/disable this mod in-game with a hotkey!

QFA. Totally agree. As much as I love the first person view on foot, the bonnet view was my favorite one in car and it's now replaced. Please, at least make it optional in the ini, to have 1st person camera on foot only. wink.gif

Can you change the head removal a bit? I figured that you made it only remove the head of Niko. I use the Simple Trainer and I like to switch models, so when I put first person into them, their models will still have their head, and it is annoyance. Please change this into removing all heads in Single Player instead of just Niko.

That's probably not true. A script should be able to hide only the player's head, regardless of which model they're using.

This mod works well with EFLC biggrin.gif
The only issue is the crosshairs with the other weapons (ex. Assault Shotgun)
Can you make this fully compatible for EFLC?

What version of the game do I need? It won't work. I'm using 1.0.7 for IV and 1.0.2 for EFLC, it won't work in neither of them.
