Nice job, but I prefer the yellow ones. There are even some cars where I can't really see that yellow indicator, but I see something red, like on Presidente...

Why should you make 'em red, when in real life, most cars have orange hazard lights?

I like the default one. But nice try cookie.gif cookie.gif . Then I have opinion why you are not make it blue or Green to see it clearly. Red is for Brake light. White is for Reverse light. Then Indicator should be green or blue

I think a green rear light would look really worse. mercie_blink.gif

OMG

People! In North America, certain cars have red indicator lights. For example: Corvette from C1 to C6, '08 Hummer H2, '06 Cadillac Escalade, Oldsmobile 442, Chevrolet Express. Everyone posting on this topic is European so you are used to orange indicators. Some photos:

I wanted to add some more realism to GTA IV than Rockstar did and as far as I know, in one of the first missions Roman says 'It's America!' so red indicarors are very adequant to this game.

OK, great job, but I still prefer the orange one.

If you have another colour idea (green, or pink or what? tounge.gif ) maybe I'll change my mind.

The red colour is confusing for me smile.gif

when you see a crashed car on the street, what color you see with the hazards on (eg. Ford Taurus, Dodge Magnum)? ORANGE, you destroyed the realism by far, without offense icon13.gif

Oh dear... Actually mazda 6 is a Japanese car, so it's got orange indicators. Mercury Sable has got orange ones, so I didn't change them in Solair. REMEMBER: NOT ALL OF THE AMERICAN CARS HAVE RED INDICATORS. Just look at the 70s muscle cars. Dodge charger? - red hazards. Mustang? - red ones. 1995 chevrolet silverado? - red ones. Ford Expedition? - red ones. Corvette? - red ones.
Have a look:
<- Red hazards.

Almost every cars I see on the road have Orange indicator, the only ones I see with red indicator are muscle car or old cars (maybe some new cars, but I don't see them).

But you are trying to bust the theorem of red indicators showing American spec cars with orange hazards.

@DarkZ: I don't live in NA, but I'm interested in the USA and I've seen lots more than a couple of American cars with red hazards so don't say that you see only ORANGE.

@crashsilumator234: Don't excite so much, I'm sure that you have never seen a real American car. BTW, ESP = Electronic Slip Protection, ABS = Anti-Lock Braking System. SURPRISED? I know something about cars though.

Anyway, if you don't like my mod - just don't look here and do your own mod with stupid ORANGE hazards and you'll be satisfied that you did better than me and R*.

And if you're still confused about this issue - some proofs:

'09 Ford Expedition

'10 Ford Mustang

'06 Ford Mustang

'04 Ford Focus Station Wagon

'04 Ford Focus ZX3

'04 Ford Focus Sedan

'09 Jeep Commander

'09 Chevrolet Corvette

'09 Chevrolet Tahoe

'09 Cadillac Escalade

'09 Chrysler 300C

'03 Chrysler Town & Country

'09 Dodge Grand Caravan

'09 Dodge Ram 1500

'09 Dodge Challenger

'09 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD

'05 Jeep Wrangler

'09 HUMMER H2 SUV

'09 Lincoln Town Car

'05 Mercury Grand Marquis

'09 Jeep Grand Cherokee

'09 Chevrolet Avalanche

ALL WITH RED REAR INDICATORS.

Knowledge does not depend on the place where you live, so if you want to know something about for example Poland or any other country you don' have to live there just read some books about this country or search the Internet for some information that interests you confused.gif That's a pity that there are people in this world who think just like you... confused.gif

True.

I'm also interested in NA and their cars. I've even seen imported cars from US here in sweden who had red hazards!

Well, I live in Kansas, USA, and while I haven't really examined turn signals (as we call them here) very closely, I can tell you that on the street most of them are orange. When I think of the color of turn signals, I think orange. Although this could just be because there are so many non-American cars on the road here. Next time I'm out driving I'll have to take a closer look.

OK, but in the first post i wrote that this mod is fo American made cars and I checked All of the GTAIV cars' resemlers whether they have red turn signals or not and I changed the color only in cars which had red ones (Lincoln Town Car, Dodge Caravan, Corvette C5, Pontiac Sunfire, Ford F-150, Buick GNX, Dodge Charger, Ford Expedition, Chrysler 300C, Chevrolet Silverado, Chevy Camaro, Olds 442, Chevy Express).
------------------------------------------------------------
I have got the second version of my mod which includes red turn signals on cars in v. 1.0 (without Manana) and white turn signals in European and Japanese made cars (but i don' know how to make 'em illuminating in orange, so when a car for example Perennal is turning right the signal is also white), ut I don't want to release it 'cause I don't want to have the same rumour like in this mod.

Oh look! autistic people! wow.gif

Why do you care so much? they're goddamn turn signals. and for the record, American cars with red rear turn signals are normally using the same bulb as brakes, That's why they are red. so this mod looks weird because there are turn signals that look like they have the wrong colour lens installed for no reason.
