|There is a guy now who sells 3G iPhones 8GB with 1 dead pixel in each of them (1900 points feedback - super seller) for 700PLN which is less than 200 Euro. Should I try to make a small business and buy 3 of them and then sell them in Ireland for 300 euro each? ^^|
I would totally buy one off you if i had the money. That's almost a 200€ difference!
But you have to make sure there unlocked and Work for other networks.
the main networks here are. Meteor, O2, Vodafone and 3.
Meteor is the most popular for general use but O2 and Vodafone are close competitors for business. Just make sure there Unlocked.
Yeah try and fix the dead Pixels first too.

I can barely afford money for a phone now days anyways. But at work 4 Touchscreen Tocco's came in from O2 as freebies and i barely afford one as it is. Maybe i'll knock in and ask for one.
Anyways. Best of luck with enterprise into the Irish Market.
Where will you be selling?
That offer is very lucrative since We have Paddy Tax on thing's like that over here. Say an O2 iPhone plan costs 500€ it has 100 Texts, 100 Minutes and 1GB download limit. in the UK it's 400€ Has 500 Texts, 1000 Minutes and Unlimited Download limits.
See what i mean.

Long story short, my mate had one and dropped it, smashing the glass screen on the front of the ipod (though the actual lcd screen is fully intact and working). He rang up 02 and they sent him a replacement and when it arrived the courier was suppose to put the broken iphone back in the box and take it away, but he never did. So now my mate has a spanking new iphone and his smashed screen one. Its been almost a month now and they've never asked for the old one back and it hasn't been black-listed and still works with 02 sim cards so my mate has decided to try and sell it for £100 (112 euros).
My question to you guys is, is it worth buying it off him? But keep these things in mind:
- A replacement touch panel will cost me around £30 and I can repair it myself, so in all the total cost of the iphone will be £130 (146 euros). This will mean the front will be new and the back of the iphone is in good condition (few scratches here and there but nothing major)
- Unfortunately it is on base band 02.30.03, this means that at the moment it cannot be unlocked to work with all sim cards but I strongly believe in the next couple of months they will release an update to unlock this base band.
- I'm purchasing this in the hope of selling it in the coming months (once I can unlock it) for £230+. This price range seems reasonable having researched some bids on ebay.
So all in all, I should make a profit of £100 at the very least. Worth buying?
