For me definitely when I was doing Snail Trail and following the train. Then my Sanchez fell off the track around Angel Pine and it took a while to get back. Then unluckily I happened to be too close to the reported when he was looking for a taxi and failed.

Also Photo Opportunity when I'm near Angel Pine and suddenly the car rolls over.

Anytime it's a mission that takes me clear across the map, and I fail a long way from the starting point. No wonder they added taxi rides and try-again text messages in IV.

Agreed. For example, I forget the name of the mission but you act as a decoy so the Da Nang Boys can follow you. Not really a hard mission, but I have failed it, a far distance from the start. Hate that.

I hate flying those remote control planes where you had to shoot those delivery vans. Its the mission you do with that geek. I can't remember his name. But I think I got the hang of it now

The one that springs to mind is "Wrong Side Of The Tracks", must have attempted this numerous times only to fail because Sweet can't shoot for sh*t.

It's actually Big Smoke, but yeah he sucks at shooting. I attempted that mission about 7 times, because of his horrible shooting.

Anyway basically any mission that take you across the countryside/desert, and failing it a long way away from the start point. Thank god IV has a replay option.

Actually the desert missions in SA are fun because the roads are easier to get the hang off and the missions themselves are fun for me. In comparison to the countryside missions which are so boring IMO.

The only part of SA storyline I'm not a fan of is the countryside and the SF missions which require you to get to the countryside.

Sub-mission 'Air Raid'.

It takes so long for Zero to go through his Spiel.

I find Air Raid absolutely frustrating on PS2. Even though I beat it on first try, one thing annoys me on missions where you have free aim and must shoot certain vehicles and even with a Minigun it's hard because you can't use the d-pad to move the target but only that left manual stick.
On PC it's very easy. I also hate Supply Lines on PS2 because the fuel runs out really fast.

air raid is the hardest gta mission ever on the ps2 . I also hate grove 4 lyf as it was a bit overly clichéd and I felt it was much harder than normal gang wars

the key is Failure. When you fail the mission, how annoying is having to redo it.

If you can do it then it is not annoying, with regard to topic title..

I concur!

The first one is not really annoying with a mouse, but the other 2 are frustrating.

I have to add that if taxi/vigilante (not with Rhino/Hunter) qualifies as a mission, I hate those even more then the destroy the RC dealer vans mission.
(and yes, I managed to get busted at about 45 fares, and on level 12 vigilante)

Though I'd fare more on "Air Raid",the hardest is "Vertical Bird".
Sneaking to the boat very lowly and ending up in the water several times. Simply annoying.

I hate most of the missions involving chases and flying

but Grove For Life is just really annoying as hell, when I was about to finish the last wave of Ballas I suddenly ran out of ammunition and the fool Sweet didn't even used his AK47 to defend me at least

I don't get why people are having a hard time with 'Grove 4 Life'. I think it's even easier than normal gang wars because Sweet is there to cover you when you reload.

My most annoying mission failure by far, in any GTA I've played, was one play of "Breaking the Bank at Caligula's".

Got in, opened the garage, got the money, shot our way out, made my way up to the rooftop. After all that, all I had to do was leap across the roof and get the parachute. Except when the cutscene ended, I was facing the front of the building, and when I hit the jump button, instead of climbing up the roof, I fell to my death.

Was not amused, to say the least.

As far as Sweet is concerned.
Forget him. Treat the war as before.
I found by accident that if you leave him behind in the war zone he servivds nicely. (run CJ to the other end of the zone.)
Once a car got 'parked' on top of him while I was cleaning up the zone. At the end I had to move the car from him to get him on his feet again.

Trap him somewhere like the garage in Grove Street or just out-run him and get into a vehicle before he can join you. Then you can do the mission without having to worry about your useless liability of a brother.

The odd thing is that even though he's not there - he still talks to you notify.gif

Yeah, the AI is so annoying. Your homies just wander around(sometimes getting in your line of fire).

"N.O.E." is a nightmare too.

If N.O.E is the mission where you have to fly a package to (blueberry?) and stay at a really low altitude, dear jesus I am right there with you. I hate that mission.
