I'd really kill for a San Andreas-compatible Blender .dff Import/Export plugin right about now. At the moment, Gmax has pretty much failed me the current .dff I/E plugin for Blender doesn't have San Andreas compatibility, thus putting what I'm working on at a complete standstill. @.@


@ STWMarshall: Vice City weapon data? Actually that's easily done in Notepad++. All you need to know are the values for each weapon model and some basic hexadecimal know-how to manipulate modifiers such as if the weapon is heavy (meaning you can't run nor jump with it) or what-not. The GTA Modding Wiki has what more you need to know in order to get started. o.o

How to open the weapon data file? sad.gif

You can use Notepad to open it, but I prefer using Notepad++. Basically when you first try to open a .dat file, you'll be asked to select a program to open it. Find Notepad or, if you have it, Notepad++, and .dat files will be assigned to Notepad(++) for opening. At that point, the information on GTA Modding will be able to help you. o.o

a tool that keeps recording the clips, when enabled the tool will automatically press the f2 button every X seconds set by player. someone could make this? i hate it when i miss scenes in my video's

Is there a VC GXT editor that supports special characters? The three that I encountered (CyQ's, Barton's, and feroGT5's) don't properly support them. I've made a list of all usable characters here. So far the hex editor is working great but cumbersome.

EDIT: Nevermind. After a long, laborious search, I came across Zverik's GXT editor. This is the best GXT editor. It can edit GXT files from multiple games and support for the special characters. I remember this editor back in my early days of VC modding. I wonder why this tool became so hard to find these days.

Hey! im new to gta forums, and just wondering if there is a tool for adding cars to the map, as i am making a coach station at the doherty garage and need coaches to be there all the time, many thanks, tom.

Simple key presser.

Download the .rar file, open it up, read the readme and then open up the programme. The setting which you'll need to use are below:

Obviously you'll need to select GTA under the applications tab. And the time interval section is done in milliseconds. So you'll need to multiply X seconds by 1000 in order to get the correct setting. Aside from that those settings are the ones which will work for you.

this doesnt really fit here, but can someone make a tool to convert .pmem or .bing to .3ds or a simple plugin for 3dsmax to convert these 2 file types biggrin.gif

Hello everybody I would like a tool so I can see the files .txd of an object .dff example:
house05.dff this house05.dff house05.txd she has no one with this other name
and would like to know how to discover the texture of this .dff.
I used a program to do it but it made my pc restart = (

I would request a tool for GTA:SA, handling-adder. I know the HandlingAdder and HandlingAdderUltimate by Alexander Blade, but they seem very buggy.

I thought a way, that new handling-adder would just allow more handlings to be readen from handling.cfg, instead of injecting new handlings into the executable.

Hopefully someone pays attention on it smile.gif

I need vc limit adjuster a stable one.It can be both launcher limit adjuster or exe limit adjuster. Andy's LA 2 beta 6 is unstable very much. Any help would be greatly appreciated

i think no one is working on our requests
but anyways,
i need a Timecyc editor for vice city,
similar to G-cyc, with its upcoming 3d effect,
because none of its links are available for download,
please some one do this, i don't have enough time to edit that file with notepad & check it by playing each time,
