This is a work in progress and I'll continue to add more and more. This is just what I have done so far.

Introduction

Republica 2010, the heart of the American Southwest. The state was once known as the Republic of Republica and the natives of the state consider themselves the best of the best. With a population of 24.5 million people and a range of different races, religions, colors and so on and so on. The state is one of Americas most loved and known places and has many attractions. However there's also a very dark secret behind all the glitz and glamor of the state. Crime is rampant, street gangs and organized crime run the underworld and with the on going "War Against Drugs" in Mexico which the state borders, the violence and blood has spread over the border as well as the influence of the Cartels and the drugs. Times are changing and everyone wants a piece of the pie. The only question is do you have the heart as well as the mind to take control?

Republica

The state was sanctioned a part of the U.S. in 1846 but was an independent government and country Republic from 1835-1846 after gaining independence from Mexico. The state is divided into 5 large cities with smaller cities and counties surrounding.

Main Cities:

Harrison(Houston): The largest city in Republica. It has an estimated population of 2.1 million residents. The city is a hub for entertainment in the state ranging from the numerous museums in the Museum District including the world famous Harrison Museum of Super Natural Super Science and the Harrison Zoo for People Who Love Animals in a Non Sexual Way. All the way to sports fans who want to see the Harrison KnOOckers professional basketball team. There is a little something for everyone who visits the city.

San Antiqua(San Antonio): The historic San Antiqua is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the state. The city proper has a population of 1.4 million people. It's known for being the place where soldiers of the Republic Army of Republica stood their ground in the battle of The Anal where Republica soldiers who were out gunned fought against the ruthless Mexican Army. The site is now a world famous tourist spot. The city is also home to 2 famous theme parks including OceanWorld which has the popular SeaMen exhibit. There is also of course the famous Six Stripes Adios Amigos Republica.

Violet(Austin): The state capital. The city has a population of an estimated 745,000. The city is known for being one of the "Greenest Cities" in America and being one of the best places to live. The city is one of the safest cities in the U.S. however because of the recent surge of illegal aliens from Mexico the city has seen a sharp increase of violent crimes. The city has a historic musical event every year called the Violet City Music Festival that draws an estimated 10,000 tourist every single year for it's 3 day run.

Dallon(Dallas): The 3rd largest city in the state with a population of around 1.3 million residents. The city is a famous tourist spot and has one of the best football teams in the Profession Football League, the Dallon Cow Herders, which brings in the city around 200,000 visitors each year. The city is also renown for it's barbeque, the Rep-Mex cusine.

El Peninsula(El Paso): The city as of recent is more known for the violence that has been occuring as of late. The city was once one of the state's most safe and live able cities but due to it's closeness to Brownie(Brownsville) Republica which borders the Mexican state of Wendella, the drugs have spilled over into the once peaceful El Peninsula as well as the violence and drug cartels. The city has seen a recent crackdown by both the FBI and DEA in trying to stop the flow of drugs into entering the city which is usually the 1st place the drugs come before going to the other major cities in the state.

San Verga, Wendella (Juraez,Mexico): This once exotic and popular tourist attraction located in the Wendella State of Mexcio has been one of the most dangerous cities in the world since the crackdown began. The powerful Wendella Cartel run the city as its main base of operations with almost complete control. However in the more recent years as rival cartels as well as violent street gangs have pushed more into the city, full fledged war has broken out between the groups as well as continued military and police operations. The influx of illegals from this state to Repubica has influenced crime across the state as gang members from Wendella are working with certain street gangs as well as against certain street gangs causing wars across the entire republic. The vast influx of drugs, women and weapons to and from the border has federal U.S. agencies paying more and more attention to the details of the countries southern neighbor.

Gangs and Criminal Organizations Police Files:

C-11(MS-13): One of the most brutal and violent gangs in the state. Their main operation is located in the city of Harrison. They are a gang of Salvadorian gangsters and are a nationwide gang with an estimated 20,000 in the U.S. alone and an estimated 100,000 world wide. They are currently involved in a very open and violent street war with the Vagos and Republica Syndicate in the city over control of the drug trade. Because of their beef with the Vagos and Republica Syndicate they have also been greenlit by the Mexican Mafia who supplies the Vagos and the Wendella Cartel who supply the Republica Syndicate. They are heavily involved in the drug trade as well as gun running, prostitution and overall gang violence. Their leader is 24 year old Spider who's real name is unknown.

Diego Organization: A state wide drug organization ran by 47 year old Mexican American Martez Diego. They are one of the biggest organizations in the state and get their drugs straight from the border and deal directly with the Wendella Cartel. Martez is known to be very flashy and owns dozens of properties throughout the state. His 2 sons, Martez J.R.(24) and Berry(22), are the only 2 people he has under him. It is rumored that the 2 brothers are involved in a violent feud with eachother over who will get control over the Empire for if anything happens to their father. It is rumored that Martez favors his youngest son, Berry more because he is more level headed and has a business sense while Martez Junior is extremely violent. The DEA is rumored to be closing in on the organization and has 1 very close informant to the organization. They deal heavily in drug smuggling across the border and distributes the drugs wholesale to the various gangs in the state. They are headquartered in El Peninsula.

Wendella Cartel: One of the biggest cartels in Mexico. They run the Wendella state with complete control and are currently involved in a violent war with the Mexican Army as well as other Mexican Drug Cartels. Because of these wars they have decided to start moving some of their operations to America with Dallon being their U.S. headquarter. The representative of the American branch is 33 year old Alexander Meos. He is known for his overly violent ways but there is also a rumor going around that he may be a homosexual and involved with a state representative. He has anyone murdered on site of they speak on that rumor. Obviously they are heavily involved in drug smuggling across the border as well as gun trafficking and human traffiking of Mexican's who are trying to get to America illegally.

Republica Syndicate(Texas Syndicate): A violent Mexican American Republica exclusive organization. They are state wide but have their main base of operations in Harrison. They are currently led by 44 year old Marcus" Marky D" Dienevez who has been the leader since a violent war for leadership in the 1980s. The organization has deep connections in Vice City, Las Santos and Carcer City. They are heavily involved in the drug trade and get their drugs exclusively from the Wendella Cartel. They own numerous fronts and drug warehouses throughout the state and also run a very lucrative prostitution ring throughout the state. They are currently involved in a violent war with C-11.

Los Vagos: A national gang that has it's main base and home in Las Santos, San Andreas. They have been active in Republica since the mid 1990s and are most active in Violet. They are known rivals of the Green Famillia and C-11. They are heavily involved in drugs and prostitution and have a shaky alliance with the Green Famillia. They sometimes act as muscle for the Mexican Mafia in the state. They are ran by OG Luis who's real name and age is unknown.

Green Famillia: They are a nationwide branch of the nationwide Families gang which had it's start in Los Santos. They became active in the streets of Los Santos in the Families controlled areas of Little Mexico and spread out all over Los Santos County and soon the state. They opened operations in Dallon and Violet around 1998. Once fierce rivals of the Vagos because of home turf beefs they made a shaky alliance that could fall at anytime when the C-11 became their biggest concern. They are heavily involved in the gun trade and dibble and dab in drugs but their main money maker is the street racing rings and chop shop rings they operate throughout the state. They are ran by 29 year old Victor Demenez.

Republica Mexican Mafia: The Republica chapter of the nationwide Mexican Mafia. They are very brutal in their ways and only work with the other operations as middlemen in getting drugs from an unknown connect in Mexico. The leader of the organization is secet at the moment but recent DEA and FBI raids have made a couple birds start chirping.

The White Knight Brotherhood(Aryan Brotherhood): The biggest white supremeisist gang in the state. They operate on both a prison and street level. They are known associates of Republica Mexican Mafia and the Angels of Death Harrison chapter. The street operation is located mainly in Harrison but they also operate in San Antiqua. They are ran by Butchy Butch in the prison but the street level boss is currently unknown. They deal heavily in the methamphetimene trade as well as gun smuggling. We hear the ATF s getting ready to do a huge operation against them and the Angels of Death.

Angel's of Death Harrison Chapter: The biggest chapter of the OMG in the state. They also operate in Violet and El Peninsula. They are involved in the crystal meth and gun trade. The chapter boss is 45 year old Larry" Big L" Jimms.

Bandits Of the South MC: The Republica based OMG. The largest OMG operating in the state. They are fierce rivals of the Angels of Death and are battling them directly over control of the lucrative crystal meth trade in Violet. The current chapter boss is unknown but former chapter boss Raymond" Big Ray" Anderson was recently murdered in a biker brawl at the Violet Biker Convention a few months ago.

Republica Mafia: Consist of 3 La Cosa Nostra families in the state. The Messina Republica operation, the Harrison De'Calzone Family and the Dallon Versero Family. They operate on a much low key level compared to how they used to perate mainly because of recent arrest have made the families weaker. The Dons of each respective Family is currently unknown. They are heavily involved in the gambling rackets in the city as well as extortion. Rumor has it that the new head of the Republica Mafia has made drug dealing off limits due to the high profile buzz that comes with it and anyone dealing in drugs will be killed. We hear that this has made alot of members very unhappy since the drug trade accounted for about40% of the syndicate's income.

Nulezzi Camorra: A Mafia type criminal organizaion from Naples. They have been making waves in the state since they are making Republica one of their 1st operations in America. The Nulezzi Family is one of the biggest Camorra familes in Italy and they are the 1st to stake claim in the state. All we know is that they are involved in bringing drugs straight from Italy as well as imported cars. They are ran by 63 year old Don Nulezzi who we have very little info on at the time. We hear that bad blood is rising between them and the Republica Mafia.

Wasuki Clan: This Japanese Yakuza Clan has made San Antiqua their U.S. operations headquarters. They are new to the state but have alot of influence. We hear they are actually sponsoring the San Antiqua Anime-Con. We also hear that a number of the clan's high profile members are apart if the Zaibutsu Corporations Republica branch. We hear they are responsible for bringing in the new drug known as "Bottle Rocket" which has caused an uproar in recent months and some are even saying it may be responsible for a new epidemic coming along. The clan leader 55 year old Wasuki Gerosha is currently still located in Japan.

Gangstas United: This coalition of African American street gangs is one of the biggest organizations state wide. They reportedly have around 17 different gangs under this banner and follow under a direct leadership pattern similar to the Army throughout the whole state with each city having a Major and they all report under the statewide General. They run various housing projects throughout the state as well as the surrounding street corners, avenues and blvds. Most of the gangs still sport their respective gang colors and signs and beefs between the gangs are still frequent however the Majors enforce the law onto the Sargents who are the leaders of the respective gangs so that problems don't grow large. They mainly operate in the drug business. The Major is suspected to be 28 year old Laurence" Cooly" Colins.

Estevenez Cartel: The Estevenez Cartel was a El Peninsula based powerful drug organization led by Hector Estevenez from the mid 1970s to his death in the 1990s. The DEA took down most of the Cartel and it is rumored that Jamie Estevenez(47) who's Hector's brother currently leads the shattered organization. We hear that Hector's son Marco has ambitions of running the organization along with his sister Sarah Estevenez and taking their uncle out the picture if he doesn't concede.

Pryor Organization: This well connected East Coast organization hails from Eastside Holland and have connections all over the East Coast ranging from Liberty State(Liberty Metro area and Liberty City County including Portland, Liberty; The Brix, Liberty and Witchica Gardens, Shorside Vale)Carcer City, Bullworth, East Basin City, Alderney City and Gurnsey. They are led by "The Twins" Damien "D Roc" Pryor(24) and Andre" Dre Day" Pryor(24). They got their start as members of the national Families street gang in the Liberty City branch of the Families in Holland. They started a street entertainment studio named Family Man ENT. that made and distributed street cds from rappers as well as street DVDs and when their rapper Goldie Han got a big record deal from Grove Records led by multimillionaire Carl" CJ" Johnson they expanded their drug dealing operation with the money they extorted from Goldie Han. They've made a successful empire on the East Coast now they decided to move operations to the South. They own a number of properties in Harrison including the Flatline Nightclub and the Family Man ENT. South record label. We hear they are gearing up to battle the Gangstas United for control over the lucrative public housing drug trade.

La Familia Cartel: The rising drug cartel in Wendella. The group was once a set of hired hitmen for the Wendella Cartel in the early 90s. They were a feared group of killers in the city of San Verga and as the Wendella Cartel influence spread to other states so did La Famila. When their leader, Don Pepe Tio , was gunned down in 2009 the gang severed all ties to the Wendella Cartel and set out on their own soon becoming a 3,000 strong organization in Wendella. After nearly 20 years of experience and information gained from working with the Cartel, La Familia soon grabbed turf from their former bosses in a full out attack on the Cartel. After taking valuable trafficking routes and cities from the Wnedella Cartel, LA Familia gained full on cartel status. Their current leader is unknown but is believed to be Hector Meza.

Mission Examples:

1.Go Go Kill Kill Warrior Death Death!!!
This mission is done for the Republica Mafia. The Wasuki Clan has been moving in on Mafia gambling turf using their Anime Convention as a cover up. Their real goal is to have a high profile meeting with a crooked gaming union boss who actually works for the Mafia. You are told to get a costume for the convention at a Dress Up Store to get into the convention. Once there you get a phone call and you get 4 picture messages showing you your 4 targets. 3 of them are Yakuza big shots and the 4th is the union boss. You are told to expose of them any way you can. You find the 4 targets seperately and kill them all. Once you get to the union boss he notices you from previous missions with the Mafia and pulls out a gun and starts shooting.

The convention goes into chaos and you have to keep up with the union boss as well as shoot out with other Yakuza memebers at the convention. Once you have him on the brink of death you have the choice to either go through with your hit or spare him and he offers you $25,000. If you choose to spare him that $25,000 will go straight into your pocket however the Republica Mafia mission strand will end and they'll become rivals of yours as their Respect for you goes down to 0 and you'll have to work to rebuild that relationship in order to get anymore missions from them. If you go through with the hit you'll get $10,000 as well as an additional $5,000 and you can continue with the Mafia strand.

2. The "Angel" of Death
This mission is part of the Bandits of the South MC strand. You are tasked by a member of the Bandits to plant a bomb at a Angels of Death MC hangout in Violet. 2 Bandits are sent with you to make sure the job gets done correctly. The mission is fairly straightforward up until you get to the Angels hangout. As soon as you arrive a brief cutscene showing 10 Angles posted outside the hangout and they all notice the rival bikers and begin firing. The cutscene ends and the action starts.

You then pull out your weapon of choice and precede to mow down the 10 Angels. Once all 10 are dead you are told by one of the accompanying Bandits that you need to hurry up and plant the bomb because more Angels are bound to come. As soon as he tells you a 5 minute timer kicks in. You have to find a spot in the small Angles owned bar that the bomb will fit perfectly. Once you find the spot you have to speed of as quick as you can to get away from the blast radius. Once you're far enough away another cutscene begins. 5 more angels of Death show up to the club and begin checking their fallen comrades and 2 of them go into the bar to check on everyone else. As soon as they enter the bar a huge explosion occurs and all 5 members are killed. The Bandits comment on how cold you are and tell you how you would work out as a biker. They then pay you $2,500 upfront and tell you the other $2,500 will be wired to your bank account.

Gameplay and Game info

-Choice is a major aspect of the game. 1/3 of the missions will require a choice to be made similar to the choice options in IV. However the missions that involve choice will all effect the storyline to a degree and the outcome will effect what groups or persons will give you work for a determined amount of time until you work your way back up to gain their Respect. However it's possible to not continue a groups strand of missions if your mission Respect with them goes down and you won't receive an 100% completion.

-A situation similar to Revenge or Deal will be at the end of the game. Mercy or No Mercy will be the choice.

-The Mercy option will have a mission called "The World is Ours" which will be sparing the leader of the Wendella Cartel who is responsible for destroying some of your properties later in the game and putting your sister in the hospital. If you chose Mercy then you make a multimillion dollar deal with the Cartel to be their only middleman in bringing the drugs to America and every other organization has to go through you. However a FBI and DEA stakeout occurs and a large shootout begins with the leader of the Cartel being gunned down and you have to make it out the warehouse in Wendealla, Mexico with the $5,000,000 you were told to bring as well as the drugs you were going to get from Wendella. You have to survive the shootout and make it across the Mexico Republica border. Once you do a cutscene will appear where you stop the car and start laughing then proclaim you've finally done it. You put your family Organization back at the top and you have a true Empire. Your sister calls and tells you she's getting released from the hospital then you proclaim"The World is Ours".

-The No Mercy option will have a mission called "Gold Rush". With the No Mercy option you declined the leader of the Wendella Cartel's offer to bury the hatchet and you become his only middleman to the U.S. and you state that you're coming for him and everything he has. He simply tells you to bring it. You are tasked with stocking up on your best weapons and picking 3 of your bodyguards to go with you. You cross the illegal route to the border and charge straight towards the Wendella Cartel drug warehouse. A fierce shootout begins with about 20 Wendella soldiers firing at you with M-16 rifles. Once you've defeated them you begin a shootout with the leader of the Wendella Cartel who has a bulletproof vest and switches between a Sniper Rifle for the 1st part where you have to somehow get enough shots off on him while he is standing on an elevated platform before the 2nd part starts. The 2nd part he switches to a high powered M-16 with a grenade launcher and begins shooting furiously at you.
After you get enough damage on him this time he'll jump into his bulletproof Patriot that holds about $5,000,000 in drugs and $5,000,000 in cash. You then have to chase him and try to shoot his tires out while driving crazily across the border. Once all 4 tires are out the car flips wildly in the air in a cutscene before landing upside down. You walk to the car then the leader procedes to curse you out while coughing up blood before you put a pistol to his head and shoot. You then take the bags of money and drugs and place them in your car. You check the drugs and see you have over 5 20 pounds of Wendella Gold Marijuana and 10 kilo grams of pure cocaine. Your sister calls and tells you she's out of the hospital. You then tell her you guys have to get back to work.
-There will be around 150 min storyline missions and around 50 side storyline missions that have to do with your Empire, Random characters etc.

-Empire Options will be Drug Distribution, Gun Running, Prostitution, Extortion, Loan Shark and Gambling.

-Drug Running will have 3 distinct points that you must sell a large enough quanity of drugs to move on to the next part.

-Small Time: This is where you hustle drugs for very cheap and you don't get a hold of the big money makers such as cocaine or heroin. You can sell small amounts of weed, ecstacy, meth and crack. This usually involves you going to drug infested neighborhoods and selling the drugs your self ala the Scarface drug selling mini game. Since this is the earliest part if drug distribution in the drug infested neighborhoods such as projects you can get into confrontation very early on with rival gangs.

-Distribution: This is where you have made enough money to move on to selling the bigger amounts of drugs and don't have to corner boy sell anymore. To obtain this status you usually would have had worked in other illicit business as well as Small Time pushing because you wouldn't make enough money just from Small Time. You can sell drugs from fronts and hire up to 5 bodyguards who you can fully customize with weapons etc. They watch over your fronts and are behind street distribution. You can sell to the medium orginizations and set up meetings on the PDA for meets where a drug dealing mini game starts.

-Smuggling: This is the high point of the drug trade. You now no longer have to work with the middlemen and get your drugs straight from the connect. This usually involves setting meets and picking the drugs from certain spots and taking them to warehouses. You can now sell wholesale drugs and have the maximum amount. You can up the prices of the drugs and down them anytime you please.

-Prostitution will act the same as the drug business. You must complete 2 side storyline missions for each of the 3 parts as well as pimp enough girls to move up to the higher level of prostitution.

-PIMP: This is where you have to work at the street level of pimping hoes lol. You start off with a stable of 2 hoes where you have to drive them around to their johns. To advance from PIMP to the 2nd stage of prostitution you have to steal other pimps hoes. You can have a max of 5 girls for PIMP. Also to advance to the 2nd stage you have to own a strip club

-Strippin Pimpin: This is a more lucrative part of prostitution. Once you own a strip club you have a max of 10 prostitutes and you can switch them at anytime. You now control prices for the amount of money paid for sexual acts. To acheive the 3rd level of prostitution you need to buy out a Brothel.

-Human Trafficking: This is the main level of prostitution. You still can operate the previous 2 levels of prostitution but instead of you being a PIMP you have pimps working for you and you can arange the cut at anytime on your PDA. You'll need to own a Brothel as well as have the maximum of 10 bodyguards working at the Brothel as well as paying police freequently to avoid stings. You now participate in picking up girls fresh off boats to bring them to your brothel. You can select to put them as street walkers, strip club hookers or brothel workers.

-With gun running there is only 1 section of that and in order for you to start gun running you have to have purchased a Marina District boathouse to bring in the guns. You have to complete 6 side storyline gun running missions in order to have the max Reputation with gun running.

-Gun Running Expanded: By StanMarsh
1: You sell weapons to illegal gun shops and even legal gun shops. You get them from someone else. For the most part, you sell small arms and make sure that the weapons can't be traced back to the runners or yourself.

2: You start handling actual gun running, getting weapons from one location to another in an effort to make the best deals but, most importantly, get those who buy off of you to play by your rules. More weapons, larger profit. You still don't get the actual weapons- you purchase them off of the black market.

3: You do everything in one and two, but now you actually have sources of weapons and don't need to go to the black market. You become a pipeline of clean weaponry that can't be traced, making illegal gun shops and gangs your bitches while your lower prices and ability to acquire any weapon under the sun makes you attractive to even legal stores. What makes you an even bigger deal, however, is that by now most gangs that are anybody are indebted to you and your troops are armed to the teeth.

-With extortion it will be similar to how it's used in the godfather series. In order to start extorting businesses your Reputation has to be around 50% in that area in order for you to start extorting businesses. Every business that you extort will be added to your Empire selection map on your PDA.

-Gambling will be a major racket of yours. Once you have enough money to purchase a casino in the gaming district then gambling becomes part of your Empire.

-You can perform home invasions with up to 3 other men. It will work similar to how it was supposed to work in SA. When doing home invasions you must do them at night and steal as much as you possibly can. You'll take the stolen items to a fencer and get paid on the amount of items stolen.

-Your Empire will consist of all the rackets you work in as well as all the properties you own. There will be up to 250 purchasable buildings throughout the state ranging from regular houses to penthouses to casinos and drug warehouses. Some properties must be purchased in order for you to work the rackets involved. For instance if you want the gambling racket you must purchase a casino in the gaming district. In order for you to move up in the drug rackets you must purchase drug warehouses to store your drugs. However you can only own a maximum of 30 buildings at a time. You can sell and buy any property at any time as long as you have the money.

-The cellphone and PDA will play large roles in the game. The PDA will act as your stat menu as well as your most important device. It will contain the map of each city, the % of the rackets you control, your Respect with each organization, your Reputation for each district, your Overall Reputation in that city and so on.

-Each gang has a Respect meter for you ranging from 0%(dislike completely) to 100%(allies). You can build and destroy gang relations at any time. Working with rival organizations will make certain gangs Respect for you go down. Killing their members will make Respect go down alot but it will also make other gangs Respect for you go up. You want to try to balance the Respect meter in order to not possibly go to war with other organizations. Missions will also effect Respect meters. You can keep watch on Respect by your PDA by going to the "Gang List" and seeing how they feel bout you.

-Reputation will differ from Respect. Your Reputation is based on your activity in each district of each city. You want to have decent amount of Rep in each district that you operate in in order to bring in the most income. If you have a drug operation in a certain district that is at level 3 then your Reputation for that district will be high but you'll need more then just that drug operation in order to have a max Reputation. All the districts in the city will equal to the Overall Reputation meter which will be a % of all the Reputation you have combined for each district in each city. This will be managed on the Reputation map on the PDA.

-Respect and Reputation are vital in the game. When gang Respect for you is low and your sick the chances of a war if your Reputation is high enough then they may think twice about attacking you. If your Respect and Reputation is low however war is imminent.

-You'll have complete control over your Empire by using the PDA. When somebody attacks a property of yours you'll receive a message telling you what property they've attacked. It's up to you what you'll do. You can either let it slide which will make the gang that attacked you Respect go down even further as well as other gangs, or you can attack which will keep the Respect the same because they'll know you aren't joking. You can also send hit squads and you can pick between * hitmen to ***** hitmen to carry out hits. Depending on their star and the opposing gang strength the hits can be varied. You'll receive a message on the PDA telling you how it went.

-Other organizations can send hit squads after you instead of attacking you upfront.

-Gang Strength is the meter that tells you how powerful each organization is. Depending on their % of turf and rackets it will show how powerful each gang in ranging from * low level to ***** top level organization. Each organization strength can change at any time excluding missions in real time depending on your actions as well as beefs they have with each other.

-You can hire henchmen to guard your properties. Depending on your Reputation you can hire so many henchmen. If your Reputation is maxed out then you can hire the maximum of 20 henchmen to guard each property and up to 3 personal bodyguards. This excludes your personal properties such as homes.

-You can fully outfit your henchmen. You can select from kevlar vest to M-16 rifles.

- You can make investments into false operations, legal and illegal to keep heat off you. Similar to investments in Scarface not only can you own dozens of properties at a time but you can put money into investments that don't actually show up as property in the game but you still get money from them.

-False Operations: You can invest say $20,000 into a fake travel agency that doops people and you make 10% every month.
-Legal Operations: You can invest say $20,000 into a movie firm and you make 10% of income every month.
-Illegal Operations: You can invest $20,000 into a drug running operation that is disguised as a meat packiging company and you make 10% of income every month.

-With these investments they are nothing more then side income things for you so you aren't in charge of it as you would be with your own buisnesses. However it's like a game of chance because the game randomly decides when say the operation is busted up and you may never actually see your $20,000 investment back. Making these investments are optional and very risky.

-You never feel like you have unlimited money. Since you can be attacked at any time when certain business go down then you have to either pay to fix them or don't pay at all and you stop making money on that particular business and someone else takes it over. You have to keep your character appearance up with nice suits and cars to make him look like a boss but only if that is your intentions. Yo can pay off cops so you don't get wanted levels and you can get lawyers so when your busted you pay a smaller fee and keep your weapons but that depends on the lawyer. A top notch lawyer may cost $10,000 an in game day and you keep him for how ever long you can afford him.

- Buying cars and weapons has benifits. Not all the cars on the streets will be the best cars. You can only get top notch Infernese or Banshees at dealerships and when you buy them you get perks that come with them as well as car insurance so if they get stolen or blown up you them back for a fee. Top quality cars will be in good neighborhoods aswell but if they get stolen or blown up they're gone for good until you find another 1. But you can get certain cars for free or cheaper prices if you own the dealerships.

-All cars can be fully customized.

-Early in the game with weapons you start off with sh*tty guns but as you advance you can actually go to a Ammunation and take a license test. If you past you can get legal guns and some of the better guns at a lower price but it won't be the best thing to kill with them because it can be traced back to you and you'll have a 4 Star Wanted level for 4 in game days unless you pay a police lutenit or chief enough money. Street dealers will have illegal gun parts and illegal guns as well as the Ammunation guns but some guns will cost more then others even at the Ammunation. The customization will be similar to how it was in Army of 2

-Weapons customization is optional. You can add scopes, infa red beams, clip extenders, silencers and advancements like grenade launchers to certain weapons.

-You'll earn 4 safehouses throughout the game that are permanent. This includes your starting safehouse that is your uncle's apartment.

-In certain missions as well as when a friend calls you, they'll drive and you can watch the scenery as well as hear the conversations of the ride or skip straight to the destination. However Details of what needs to be done will always remind players what the goal is if they decide to skip the ride scenes for missions.

- You have a bank account where you can store your money so you won't have cash on you 24/7. You can have Debit Cards and Credit Cards as well as a maximum of $10,000 of cash at any time. Your Debit Card will have the maximum of your money in the bank so if you have $100,000,000 in the bank that's how much is on your debit. Credit Cards will have a maximum of $20,000 and you can own up to 3 at a time. But you have to pay them of

-There will be loan sharks where you can borrow up to $50,000 but you have to pay them in a certain amount of time. If you don't they will be after you. But you could kill them and take over their business, make your own loan shark business or buy them out. Then of course there is the possibility of never paying them.

- You can store both weapons and money in you properties and safehouses. You can store unlimited ammo and guns in your safehouses and properties and up to $1,000,000 in safehouse and properties. Meaning you'll never have to put moeny in the bank if you don't want to and if you own the maximum of 30 buyable properties on top of your 6 permanent safehouses you can have up to $36,000,000 in your properties. All money and weapon storage's will be in safes that only you will know the combo to.

-Word Branches appear when you talk to contacts or people you meet. These only come up in non main storyline sequences such as dates. Examples would be if you take a GF to dinner she'll start conversation and you can choose various sentences and that will make the outcome of the date. If she ask if you love her you could pick a bracket that say something along the lines of " Ye I love you with all my heart" and that will make it much easier to have sex with her as well as get her various perks. If you say something like"No I don't" then she may decide to break up with you and you won't get any of her perks.

-You'll have over 100 NPCs that can become friends or GFs in the game and 40 NPCs that will become your GF or Friends just because R* programmed it that way. You can dump friends and GFs at any time. They are similar to the Random Peds in IV. With the 100+ optional NPCs they'll appear as blue markers on the map once you identify them. The 40 main NPCs don't include main storyline contacts but are the various side mission contacts, gun dealers, drug dealers, GFs etc...

A few of the dozens of GF options are listed below. These are a few of the GFs that are optional and not storyline altering picks. They do have perks though. This is just an idea so you can see how my NPC meeting system and GF system work.

Also with each GF they all have specific scripted cutscenes and how you advance with them is up to you.

Selina Vasques: She's 19 and lives in Dallon in the Hillshore Homes, a very dangerous apartment complex on the Eastside of the city. Her brother is a member of the Green Familia. You can meet her 1 of 2 different ways at different times. One way is on Myroom where she has an option for you to send her a message asking for a date. Another way is you can see her hanging out in the Hillshore Homes parking lot with some friends on Mon,Thurs and Sat at 21:00-6:45 and once you see her a blue mark will appear on the map letting you know she's one the 100 optional NPC GFs. You can then approach her and start a conversation. By choosing a conversation from the Word branches will make the outcome of wether or not she give you her number or not.

If you get her number you can set up a date with her. Depending on how you choose your words on the date it will make your outcome. Once she's in love with you she'll give you 3 different perks. 1 is that when you're in a jam she can send her brother and 2 of his homeboys to help you but only if you don't have any problems with the Familia. How ever if you do have problems with them but the Respect meter is not below 50% then it will bring your respect meter up with them by 1% very time. You can only call her for their assitance once a day.

Perk 2 is she'll be an option for another safehouse for you.Meaning she'll be another optinal place to store drugs, money and weapons. You can go there and save the game but you can't update her apartment like you can your other safehouse because you don't own the safhouse.

Perk 3 is she'll get you a 50% discount at any Binco in the city since she works over the counter at one of the Binco stores.

-One standout thong about GFs besides the perks is they'll ocasionally buy you things as long as their "Love" meter for you is above 70% meaning they're your ride or die chicks.

-The "Love" meter is the GF equivelant of the "Respect" meter with the numerous criminal orginizations. Your actions can either add to the meter or deplete it. When you do your 1st date the meter is at 00%, however since you can have sex with a GF on the 1st date depending on what you say in the Word branches, it's possible to get your "Love" meter at 25% after the 1st date because you had great wordplay and she really likes you. Each date adds 2% to the meter and each time you have sex adds 5% to the meter. Every time you buy her something adds 5% to the meter but certain things such as diamond earrings adds 10%-15% to the meter.

-It's very hard to have more then 3 GFs in "Love" with you because once their "Love" meter is at 100% they'll constantly call you and want to see you. IT is possible how ever to maintain 4 or 5 GFs at a time with their "Love" meter at 70%.

-Since GF's that are 100% in "Love" with you call often it's possible to have one call you while on a date with another GF causing the meter for both women to drop by 20% and the date you're on ending as well as neither woman answering your calls for 4 in game days.

-The cellphone and computer will be even more important then ever. You can arrange meting with contacts including mission contacts, side contacts and your employees when ever you see fit. You can download games on your phone and computer as well as buy things off the computer such as weapons off illegal gun websites.

-In terms of the Wanted System it will be even more complex then ever. I'll break it down below.
1 Star= Beat cops chasing on foot and searching the perimeter of where you were last seen. They don't show too much interest and they carry taser guns. Last 1 in game hour
2 Stars= 1 Cop car searches the perimeter for where you were last seen. They are more aggressive then 1 Star cops and carry Glock 40 pistols. Last 2 in game hour
3 Stars= 2 Cop Cars, 1 Swat Van, 1 Chopper and spike strips as well as Wanted posters for the character and if people see you they can call the cops. All cops are equipped with kevlar and SMGs. Last 1 in game day
4 Stars= 4 Cop cars, 2 Swat Vans, 2 Choppers, DEA getting called in and everything mentioned above happens here. Last 2 in game days
5 Stars= All of the above but now the FBI joins in with Buffalos. Last 4 in game days
6 Stars= All of the above but now the National Guard is here with mini tanks. Last 6 in game days.
Now all of this makes doing missions harder as well as managing you empire because now the police are on you at all times. The radius will encompass where you were last seen and all f your know places on interest. As long as you stay of of the eye of the police and public maybe by wearing a hoody and sun glasses things will be easier. Aslo you can just call your lawyer or the police chief if you have them on payroll to bring down your heat.

- Another new addition to the Wanted System is appropriate cops come for the appropriate situations. Homicide will come to homicide scenes. DEU will come to drug scenes and etc..

-Mission structure will be next gen. There will be no repeat missions and if you fail the missions you fail them meaning your Rep and Respect will go down. But there will be side missions to make up for the failed missions and the story will alter a little bit.

-Choices will be expanded on meaning you can choose who you want to work with and who you want to kill. Depending on you choices the outcomes will differ

- You can contact friends who may happen to be criminals to help you on missions wether they accompany you or wether they feed you tips and advice. One you hire bodyguards they will accompany you at all times until killed and you rehire different bodyguards.

-There are clothes street vendors all over the state. You can but certain clothes, shoes and jewelery that you see at the store for less expensive prices as well as exclusives you won't see in stores. The only problem is some things are fake and they break and wear out over time.

-Street vendors are just like businesses. You can extort them and even have the option of creating some on the Empire building options menu. The only problem is they can be sh*t down by the police costing you money from loss profits as well as re opening shop.

-When not at war with other organizations your empire sites can be robbed at any time and it's up to you what you're going to do.

- When crimes happen along with the appropriate police response the news will be there as well and your crimes will be aired on radio, internet and news breaks on tv. How ever only huge crimes will get this attention such as going on a killing spree killing 60 people without getting killed or caught.

-Robberies can be attempted at anytime. You can perform home invasions, drug and money storages , safe houses, banks and any place that would have an income cash flow are able to be robbed. You can do them with up to 3 partners and you do a 25% split with 3 partners, a 50%, 25%, 25% split with 2 other partners, a 50-50 split with 1 other partner or you can keep it all to yourself when doing a solo robbing mission.

-You set up the time and place on your cellphone and pick how many people you are using and who you're using. You select a meeting place and a place to end the mission at.

-Driver, safe cracker and gunman are the 3 choices for up to your 3 other partners.

-Depending on who you paid(politician, police cheif, luteinat etc..) your outcome will vary when robbing banks. If you paid off high ranking people the only problems you face will be inside the bank. If you didn't pay the right people expect automatic 5 Star Wanted level

-When robbing banks the bank you robbed will be closed for 48 in game hours and each time security will get higher. So paying off he right people and coming up with new ideas is a constant.

-When robbing drug spots and other illicit places then your Respect for the orginization you rob will drop and will automatically start a gang war between you and them.

-Robbing stores such as Perseus, Sub Urban, Zip etc. and stores in more upper class places will gain you a 3 Star Wanted level. However robbing places such Binco, gas stations, and carry outs or places in not so high class places will only gain you a 1-2 Star Wanted level. When performing these at night time however varies.

-Home invasions include anyplace where people live. Projects, houses and apartments. Depending on what time of day or what area is how your Wanted level outcome will be. The Wanted Level can go anywhere from no stars to 3 stars.

Drinking is back in the game but it's more like in SR. You can buy alcohal at anytime but if you drink too much the controls get very clumsy and the possibility of passing out. When you take people out you have mini game drinking options such as beer pong, quarters, who can drink the most etc.

-Drugs are usable. You can smoke weed. There are various types that also enhance gameplay for a amount of time. Purple Haze heightens your senses so colors are very vibrant but also it seems like slow motion similar to adrenilne pills from past GTAs. Ecstacy and Cocaine are also the other usable drugs. They also have brief game enhancmets such as invincibity. You can buy drugs off various dealers around the state.

-Club Scene- Along with being able to purchase or build your own casinos and clubs you can also go to any club or casino in the state at any time. You can take people there or go by yourself. By going to these places by yourself it opens of the meeting one of the 100 optional NPCs that aren't vocal to the overall game.

-Amusement Parks and Carnivals- The state will have carnivals that come and go similar to how it was in Bully when the carnival came up. Here you'll be able to play numerous mini games and get on some rides. You'll also be able to meet some of the optional 100 NPCs at these places.

-There are 5 differnt arcades with 16 spots located around the state. Each arcade company will have 6 different games but those 6 games will be in each of those 5 companies different arcade buildings.

- Betting has returned. You can bet on various sports events in the game by betting on the internet, at bars and even at the place where it takes place. This includes being able to watch the various baseball, football, hockey and basketball teams in the state play 5 optional viewing minutes. You can also just skip in entirely and see if you won the bets.

-You can watch real and fake movies online, at the movies or on tv at safehouses and your houses in real time. It's similar to how it was used in The Darkness but also any media you have stored on your hard drive can be viewed in game. Each movie that comes with the game or you have on your hard drive has a 30 minute limit. There will be 5 real movies that will include a Looney Toon complation, a Tom and Jerry complation, a Popeye complation, Betty Boop complation and another as of now un named animation classic complation. The 5 fake movies will be Leathal Weapon X: Return of the Even More Lethal Weapon, Asses of Rage, Hot Coffe, The Drug Wars( in game documentary talking about the various drug wars from GTA III- GTA IV that shows in game images from those games), and Manhunt( a movie based on the events of the original Manhunt directed by Steve Scott of GTA Vice City fame)

Online:
Zombie Apocalypse Now:
The state has been over run by zombies due to a nuclear explosion at 1 of the Zaibatsu Corporations facilities. Each of the cities are over run by zombies and players have 3 distinct modes in which they can explore this undead hell hole.

-Zombie Free Mode is where there is up to 50 players on the map and they can run wild and do as they please. You can outfit your character how you see fit and unlock new weapons, armor, clothes and accessories by doing stuff and interacting in the world over run by zombies. You can create clans in this mode. The world is your playground. Zombie playground that is. You can access the other 2 Zombie Apocalypse modes while in free mode only.

-Hunter and Prey is where players are seperated into 2 factions. The survivors and the Zaibatsu Special Response Recon Unit. 24 players max in this mode which is then seperated into 6 different squads. 3 for the survivors and 3 for the S.R.R.U. This mode is essitientially a team deathmatch as players have to hit a certain quota for points which is pre determined before the match. You can set the points anywhere from 24 all the way to unlimited. The goal is to survive both the zombies as well as complete your task of being either the hunted or the prey. The survivors have to evade the S.R.R.U while also getting kills over them while the S.S.R.U main goal is to hunt the survivors.

-Zombie Attack is a mixture of Zombie Free Mode and Hunter and Prey. In this mode players are once again set at a 24 player max limit and seperated into survivors and the S.R.R.U. However there is no emphasis on squads. Players can lone wolf it in the world or be 1 against 12 against 11. It could even be everyone for themselves. All that's assured in this mode is the need for survival. There is no point limit and players can die and come back as much as they want. However the zombies are faster and more powerful in this mode and if killed by 1 then you become 1. Once you become a zombie your main goal is to eat and not be killed. There is a 1 respawn limit for this mode so if you become a zombie and die then it's game over for you. This is the most competitive of all the modes in Zombie Apocalypse Now.

Free Mode:
Typical online GTA mode. You can do whatever you want such as build clans, start shootouts, rob banks, peddle drugs and so forth. Anything you can do in the main game you can do in free mode except there is 49 other people doing the exact same thing.

The Wire:
This mode is a cops and robbers mode with a twist. A 12 player max limit so 6 on each side. The goal is 6 gangsters are about to perform a large scale drug deal and 1 of the 6 is randomly selected to be the mastermind of the deal. The mastermind then has to set up the deal, the meet and successfully sell the drugs or evade the police. It's up to the 6 DEU(Drug Enforcement Unit) officers to successfully tap the masterminds phone and find the meet. Once they do they have to successfully find the location and wait for the deal to go down. Once the deal happens the DEU has to apprehend the 6 gangsters by either arresting them or killing them. Car chases and shoot outs galore are what this mode is meant for as well as team thinking and planning.

Not bad, the name Republica isn't bad... as Texas was once known as the Republic of Texas/ La Republica de Texas... but where you say it was once called the Republic of Republica, for me, as a Spanish speaker sounds really silly... republica means republic so it's like saying, "the republic of republic." You have a lot of gangs which I like... though it almost seems like too much... I would axe the Camorra and Yakuza as it just isn't very realistic... and probably the Italian-American Mafia as well, I could be wrong but to my knowledge they have no major presence in modern Texas. It also might be cool to see a biker gang with a name different than the Angels of Death; The AoD is based on the Hells Angels, while in real life the Bandidos MC are the biggest outlaw biker club in Texas. The inclusion of the AB was interesting but I like it as they are a really nasty real life gang that has been generally neglected in crime games I guess to avoid controversy... but for me nothing would be more fun than playing a game where I get to gun down hundreds of neo-nazi assholes.

Well isn't it quite obvious that the state is based on Texas lol? Also Republica is a pun on Texas once being a Republic and Republic or Republica is a pun on top of a pun so it isn't mean to be taken seriously as this is GTA not some sort of ultra serious game. Also I'm not axing any gangs because one complaint I've had was with GTA there isn't enough gangs. I don't consider 14 gangs spread across the state nearly to much not to mention since I haven't really expanded the idea yet each gang will have it's own set of storyline missions as well as being able to build and destroy relationships outside of missions so it adds more then enough replayability.

Also this state is based on Texas but it isn't Texas so having gangs that maybe aren't native to Texas is not a problem since this is a fictional state.

Oops I pressed the wrong button I meant to add to the original post not make a new post. Disregard this post

Also I'm not the type to be spiteful but my concept has more info on the actual game, complete gang information, actual gameplay elements, mission examples, details on each city yet other threads that don't have nearly as much info as mine continue to get more attention. Not to mention mine is one of the most original ideas on the Next forums as it's never been mentioned in a GTA and a completely different style. I just don't get this. If I made a VC or London based thread with this same concept I wonder if it would have gotten more attention?

Yeah, it really amazes me. This idea is by far the best I've seen in a long, long time. It's excellent, original and the gameplay parts are brilliant too. Yet no one has replied! Well I'll say, nice work mate, it's one of the best!

Thanks El Zilcho that means alot to me that somebody is actually looking at this concept. I don't care anymore if anyone reads this or not but I'm going to finish this idea anyways. If only 2 or 3 people care about it that's fine with me but I'm going to go through with this concept.

Maybe including some pictures or diagrams would help spark people's interest? If you look at some of the most popular threads on this forum (V2, Delta City Blues etc.) they all are bright and colourful; that does a good job of attracting the casual readers. Large walls of texts can be a little overbearing for some. Even something like a logo or opening banner might help. Just my thoughts. I will take look at this topic a bit later, as like I said, the large body of text is a little overbearing. I'll reply with my thoughts. smile.gif

I don't know how to do those pictures or logos. Also it's easy to skip over things if you don't want to read certain sections since I have every section seperated with bright colored large Phrases that shows where they are seperated. Also this is no bigger then most threads. Except with mines I don't cover up my lack of gameplay with a bunch of pictures of cars and guns or characters. I actually simply state all the gameplay elements and the such with nothing taking the focus away from those concepts.

If someone doesn't have the patience or attention span to read things like this then I don't get why they would even go to a thread involving somebodies own unique idea of a game. If they expect it to be 300 words and just chock full of pictures I don't see how you can get a full description of how somebodies game is supposed to work when taking the easy way out imo.

That's also a good point. Your work is pure info and pure quality, it's probably one of the best so far. The shame is if you don't have shiny graphics and page stretching pics of Texas, then people don't pay attention. and that's a huge shame, they don't know what they are missing.

Yeah, I didn't mean to be like brutally critical or anything... just stating my opinions and I do personally really prefer realism... I hate in like SR2 the gangs are just like completely unbelievable or even in GTA3, as a New Yorker, I had a ton of complaints (the yakuza, the map, etc)... thankfully they did an awesome job on IV imo. On the Republica thing I actually really do like the name... just like when I read "Republic of Republica" the Spanish part of my brain's reaction was, "eh... como??" (like, 'um... wha?')

I actually love the setting... I've been saying that I'd like to see something set on the US/Mexico border for months.

On that I personally think the problem is that you have to much. I'll admit I skimmed over the gameplay stuff as personally it doesn't interest me super much for this type of thing. It's awesome that you put in so much work, but I think a lot of people see something so lengthy and don't want to be bothered. And like I said before about the gangs... a lot of this really seems like to much stuff. You have references in here to things from throughout the GTAIII and IV canons, I would have just stuck to the IV... but that's you're choice, like I said I'm not trying to like belittle you... just giving my two cents and I think people would be more interested in reading it if it were a little condensed and to the point.

The other thing is I have had an idea for something similar stewing in my mind for a few months... but have been to lazy to bother writing it on here... ofcourse what happens is I think I'm comparing it all to the idea in my own head, which isn't really fair as no one knows it except me, so my bad on that. But really, props for taking the time to do all this, I've been way to lazy thus far.

But really, props for taking the time to do all this, I've been way to lazy thus far.

I get what you're saying but the thing is these gangs that may not be native to those areas being in a fictional area based on the real area doesn't take away from and realism aspects in the least. This is fiction juts as GTA is fiction so placing a Mafia Family in state based on Texas is nothing that takes away from the realism. Also as a New Yoker I never really considered III LC a NYC inspired city as R* has already confirmed it was a fictional East Coastish city not directly based on NY so I had no problem with the Yakuza being there. It's like in movies. In King of New York there was the Yakuza in New York and it didn't take away any of the realism because when it comes down to it it's a work of fiction.

Also on the gangs choices as I said I personally don't feel 16 gangs as to much spread throughout the state. There is 5 cities I included so if it were just 3 or 4 gangs in each city out of the 16 it would seem very unrealistic when you look at it. That's why I have certain gangs operating in just one city and others operating all around the state. In real life there is usually hundreds of gangs in most major cities both local and national. With this I mixed a combination of fictional local gangs with fictional national gangs and some are based on real life gangs while some are completely original.

On my mentions of III and IV I've made it clear in the debate about IV being a different canon that I say they are all connected. Mainly because R* has never even once hinted at IV being seperate from the III storyline or being a brand new universe even once. All R* has ever said was that no characters from past games would virtually appear in IV. They also said most of them are dead anyways. Now if this was meant to be a new universe R* would have flat out said it but they didn't. That whole new canon statement was made by fans of IV not R* themselves so it's far from fact. I consider IV as just a chapter in the GTA Saga and not some entirely different universe because alot of things in IV show that they have connections and while certain people like to state they are simply Easter Eggs with no connection when you have things like the Area 53 website that shows that the guy who ran the show is in hiding in a bunker and the website hasn't been active in years and everything he's said in SA occured then it shows that they are connected and people and events from past GTAs have happened as well as places existing. That's just one example becasse I don't want to get too off subject but my mentions of III era characters and settings is no different then what R* did with IV. I'm not going to have any of them show up in the game but mentions of them are fine.

I really like it all. I'd change Gun Running to make it a bit more involved as it can be easily as complex as any sort of drug running. But beyond that, it seems fine.

Thanks for the input but I honestly couldn't think of anything to make gun trafficking as deep as how I made say drug distribution. I think with guns as you sell more and more and get different connects you can start selling bigger and better types of guns but that's the only way I could really see the gun running aspect working imo.

Basically, ir progesses from you being a middle man to you controlling not only sales, but gun running and acquisition.

Thanks for the post. I was pretty much done with this thread as it got mostly ignored since threads mainly about gameplay get ignored if you don't have a bunch of pictures and things where you don't really speak about what gameplay features the game will even have.

Thanks but I've grown tired of making concept threads. They take to much time and work. Not that I have a problem with that but just that I don't have the time to do them anymore.

I've decided to do some new work on this concept. I've completely redone the online section from what it once was and I will continue to add new modes over time. Suggestions are wanted if you have any.

Yeah I liked the zombie modes for the online play.

I scanned through the first part, so I'll have to give it a proper read through later on....but I liked the character. He has a lot of texture and I can see where this could head. Keep up the good work!

Just added a new gameplay option in regards to missions car rides as well as date car rides. Also added a whole new gang ,La Familia Cartel as well as a new character in their leader. Just decided to share these updates just in case anyone was still interested in concept threads.

Same here. It's such a shame that no one has spoken a word of excellence here. This is just fantastic. I like the story and setting. I think a few GFX could add life to your Concept. icon14.gif icon14.gif
