Yeah, but who care 'bout your opinion when the evidence doesn't point to it?

Or, to put it differently, do you have anything that actually backs up that idea?

That Ancient Aliens sh*t lol. I think my dad thinks along those lines, that "humans couldn't have evolved so quickly without an outside influence".

If we're going with spooky theories about the origin of life and the universe, I prefer the simulated reality hypothesis though even if it's true, it's kinda meaningless. In a weird way it might explain the nonexistence of free will. There's no description of reality that makes sense of this concept or describes it in a coherent way. Either everything is determined or it is the result of randomness. Or both. But none of these give you any sort of free will. Almost like things are "programmed" to happen the way they do. :pp

Not sure if that was directed at me.  But theres tons of proof that actually points to our DNA being altered out of no where.

They are still trying to find the missing evolutionary link between humans and apes.. Which they can't seem to find... and its 2017.

Old religious text always describe god or GODS coming down to create us.

I just can't help but think that the truth is right in front of our stupid faces the whole time.

How do you prove we are basically science experiments created to carry on aliens genes on a new planet?  Its not like they left data sheets behind for us.  Or maybe they did..and the government keep it secret.

Imagine the outrage when 84% of the world population who have religious faith finds that out?   Ya, all that praying everyone did for the past thousands and thousands of years...all those wars... all  f*ckin pointles..

But way i see it.

This is basically it ^

This isn't remotely true- not in any way that can't be acceptably explained by natural biological circumstances.

This isn't evidence supporting the thesis of alien intervention in human evolution.

It can't be explained...  Thats why no one can find the missing link between humans and apes.  Nor will they ever imo because we as a species did not evolve from apes.  We where created using APE DNA.

I believe the ancient texts got it right.. if you start thinking like a stupid human at that time but use modern day common sense.  Its just to much of ancient texts got ruined by people seeking to control people with religion...and they altered so much over time and people think of it in terms of MAGIC and GOD instead of reality.

But hey. Since no one can actually prove the truth.. Il stick with my concept on the whole thing.  Since IMO my view of it makes more sense then we 'evolved' from apes.. Or some magically being created us with magic.

.

When it could just simply be..  We are a mix of alien DNA and apes.  And it wasn't magic it was science.

We didn't evolve from apes, we share a common ancestor with apes.

It can't be explained...

You seem to be confusing the meaning of "explanation". There's absolutely nothing about evolution, human or otherwise, which is entirely unexplained (as in no thesis exists to offer reasons why things occurred). The level to which certain theses have been effectively tested by science is a different story.

None of this offers anything resembling an explanation as to how you've jumped logically from "no missing link between humans and apes has been identified" to "therefore aliens did it". To call it logically absurd is understating it.

Meh.. I don't really care.. Im just shooting the sh*t about it.

I think theres a link between evolution and religion.  And from 30 years of soaking all kinds of sh*t in.. I just assume we are part of a alien blood line.

IMO that doesn't sound far fetched at all.  Hopefully im a alive and still around when humans start doing it too.

You are aware this is D&D, right? If you don't want to discuss, why are you even here?

I think "sh*t" is a fair way if summing it up to be honest.

We have been, for centuries, through selective breeding.

As Dagger rightly points out, the burden of proof rests on you to demonstrate your views are supported by evidence, not on me to demonstrate they aren't.
