Since the interest in this game is not nearly as high as TLAD and IV, I figured those of us slogging through Liberty City one more time could benefit from a check list. Currently, I am not aware of the percentages earned for any specific event, but I am hoping we can sort that out as we go. You must start somewhere, so I am listing off everything that I believe to be part of 100% on GTA:CW. Thanks to Enjoii for finding the locations of the random peds, and for just being a great overall contributor to all things GTA.

SPECIAL THANKS
gta_talk for creating the table, and enjoii for creating the format of the checklist. enjoii also found the locations of the random peds, thanks to poohead for finding the race locations/names. And to GuruAskew for helping to clear up A LOT of the 100% mysteries!

This is mildly incomplete, but I need your help! I know there may be some things missing for now, but just making this list shows the ambition and scope of such a 'small' game.

If we complete this, we can make a 110% checklist for the Xin missions, and whatever else rockstar has up their sleeves. Oh, and if anyone wants to make a sweet check list graphic, send it to me! Haha.

I just finished 100%. I haven't seen anyone else online say they've done it. Maybe I'm the first.

I'll clear up a couple of the "unknowns": there are 30 rampages and 5 "riding shotgun" challenges that are listed with the rampages in the stats.

As for drug dealers, there are 80 in the game and you need to go up to all 80 of them (basically you need to get to the screen with your drug bag and their trunk, bag etc.) for them to count. You don't actually need to make a trade with them. I did only one bad trade to get the wooden spoon trophy/achievement thing, otherwise I wouldn't deal with them if they weren't worth dealing with. If you go up to a dealer and you leave without buying something they cuss you out but it still counts towards your percentage. In my stats I have less trades than dealers met (I've done a few since but I remember seeing 71 trades made and 80 dealers met, for example) so that proves that you don't actually have to do the transaction, you just need to approach them and get into transaction-mode for it to count.

The easiest way to put it: if the dealer is new it's a blue dot on the map. If it turns into a briefcase then you're done with that dealer.

As for the gun club/races/time trials etc. the stats screen (and the strategy guide) lumps them all together and the easiest way to deal with them is to know that you need 85 medals in the end to get your 100%. Some of them offer rewards for getting gold (infinite sprint, double shields, fireproof, ammo discount, regenerating health) but I've yet to see anything suggest that these actually count towards 100%. I have a lot of silver and bronze medals but I made sure to get gold on the ones that unlock things so I can't be completely certain that you can get buy with just bronze or silver on those ones.

Also, in case anyone is wondering: there is no 100% reward. There's a little bit of text that pops up on the bottom of your screen that says "congratulations: you have reached 100%" or something along those lines but there's nothing that indicates anything else. Granted, there could be something there somewhere but I didn't see anything.

One last thing: the golden dragons count towards 100% but the missions they unlock do not. I did the story missions last (I did the optional stuff to unlock the "upgrades" in preparation for the story missions) and hit 100% after getting the dragons but before I even started the first Xin mission.

Tattooing has a medal associated with it so that counts too as far as I know the optional warehouse raid is also required.

awesome, it is late here (2am) so tomorrow i'll figure out the best way to merge everything into 'medals' vs individual events (especially considering the lack of a list!). Thank you so much, all that info is golden.

Very good checklist, maybe you could add a printable version like a .pdf file?

Here are the stats from my 100% game that I believe are essential to get there:

General:
Missions passed: 90 (I didn't pay attention to whether the Xin missions counted but it could be 88)
Security cameras destroyed: 100 out of 100
Safehouses owned: 21
Random characters met: 8 (there are actually 14 missions as you meet some 2 or 3 times, I don't know what counts but I did all 14, these may be counted in "missions passed" too)
Lions of Fo collected: 2 (this is a "?" in your stats before they're found)

Vehicles:
Unique Stunt Jumps Completed: 30 out of 30

Trading:
Dealers found: 80
Warehouse raids pulled off: 1

The following are where the medals (* = medal) are at. Again: you should have 85 when you're done

Ok guys, Where can we get maps or locations of all the side stuff?

Also, where exactly is the first Wilhelm encounter? I can't find him at all.

This website is pretty good and has the most complete location list I have seen. They are not SnapMap locations, they're just described in text, although I have started to SnapMap some of the locations (see the pinned FAQ), they should get you well on your way.

There's something wrong with the "rampages".

There are 30 "regular" rampages and the 5 "Riding Shotgun" rampages. That obviously adds up to 35 but you only have 34 listed. Furthermore, you don't have any of the "Riding Shotgun" rampages listed so 4 of them are duplicates. I can see "Steinway Flame thrower" is listed twice so there must be 3 other duplicates in that list.

Edit: I see you have the "riding shotgun" missions listed after all. They should probably be near/beneath the other rampages since the game stats lump them together. There's still that issue of the 4 duplicate rampages though.

One last thing: I don't know if it counts towards 100% but the strategy guide lists the Warehouse raid among all the other odd jobs and if it doesn't count it's literally the one thing in the whole section that doesn't so I'm inclined to believe it is a requirement. I did it anyway and it's one of the easiest things in the game to do. Maybe someone can check their percentage before they do it to confirm but I'd probably include it on the list until someone determines that it doesn't count.

Nice list icon14.gif Do you think you could possibly link all the sections in the table to a map showing where that item/person/thing is, when you get time? This will then be the ultimate GTA:CW 100% complete guide.

Triplicate rampages on the table:
East Island City Twin Pistols
Steinway Flame thrower

I figured it out. I thought there were 4 duplicates but there are actually two triplicates. If you remove the extra listings for these two rampages you should be good.

There is also a Trophy for finding all 80 dealers;

Good work on this topic so far, tables can be hard to sort out properly without the use of a generator.

Okay, all updated and added the briefcase as well.

I also got a PDF maker, but it doesn't care about splitting the tables right in half (and this sucker is 5 pages long!!!!!)

So when i get back from coffee/lunch, i'll see where it breaks the tables and just PDF-ify it in pieces so it'll be more usable.

I added the PDFs for you guys to print out. I am hosting them on my personal site (www.fatwreckwiki.com), hopefully it doesn't crash my site!! haha.

I'll add the snapmap and location links ASAP.

edit: while i was at the mall i snapped a couple pics of the stunt jumps and rampage maps in the brady guide. these pictures did not come out as well as i had hoped, so my snapmaps may be slightly inaccurate. to this end, i've included a link to information that describes each jump/rampage.

For the record, I just got 100% today and you don't receive the Bulletproof Patriot. I don't know how to get it. It might require getting all gold medals. Anybody else know?

This is a very informative guide, thank you. I've been waiting for something like this for a very long time. It will make my life, and countless others', easier when it finally comes time to settle down and reach 100%!

Yeah, pin.

Thanks alot for the list, and daaayyummm, for such a small cartridge, there is so much to do! Giant list for 100%, I've played the game for like a day straight now (somewhere along those lines) and I'm only at like 60% completion.

Excellent game.
