Haven't checked this out and when I read through this topic alot of people say the patch is a 'hoax'? (not appearing/downloading with their systems).

By the way: I read that you couldn't go online with modified files... so not even with skinmods? Seriously, customisation isn't cheating... editing gamefiles (concerning handling/weapon wielding) is cheating and should be the only thing that isn't allowed.

I hope I can still play online with my awesome skins...

Nothing's coming up relating to the patch. Methinks this is fake or region dependant.

I don't think it's fake. Why would it be?A fake patch that doesn't allow you to cheat? But Niko's gloves have been removed....he has so ugly bare hands...i need to cover them up quick....

You can always draw on your monitor. wink.gif

Nah,Niko is always moving, causing mayhem on my system,so that would be a little difficult. biggrin.gif But i have to ask around now concerning this tweak...

I don't see any new patches on the official website dozingoff.gif

Anyways, those of you who have intalled this so-called patch that apparently doesn't exist....does modified files include things like the graphics fix? Because I really don't want to enable the ugly depth of field just to play online, and I really like motion-blur.

Is there a direct download for this patch?
When I download it via Live it's stuck near the ending, it's been this way for 40 minutes now...

Live seems to pause for ages, it took about 5 mins on my connection (probably about 3 rly), then exited to windows and ran an executable.

Ive just played 40 mins and ima gonna puke. Runs f*cken great, used to drop to 20fps and even worse if it started bugging out but now havent seen it go below 30, with an average of what seems to be 38fps whenever i look and settings a fair bit higher than before, which at 1080p means this is finally the game i thought it should be.

Ive not used the worst weather conditions tho.

This is a win R*.

Thanks you very much.

Solved my installation problem by disabling my firewall during install. Try this!

And it's great to have a TDM without cheaters!!! Campers are still out there but at least you can kill them now =)

Does this patch remove the NAT analysis?
The rating it gives in the in-game windows live>settings>network information, where it would say strict, open or medium,

Check your settings, my settings were considerably up on what the were before i patched, specifically, i had shadow density set to 3 before, but noticed the post patch it went to 10.

I changed to 5 and it seems to be running better than before (tho i think my bad performance previously was bug related, and ive not run into that bug yet smile.gif )

Same here. I'll just wait for R* to upload the patch on their site and download it from there. That would be a lot better than sitting on my ass observing a progress bar that doesn't move at all.

How are the textures in this new patch?

The same.. ?

Why would they be different? They still disappear though.

I don't mean if there's a change in texture, I meant if they're no longer disappearing and if the shadows are fixed, etc.

now the only thing i remember modifying in my game was reducing the amount of rain particles tounge.gif (if that too counts).
any help on this will be appreciated.

This is weird, I've been reinstalling the game for 2 times now and it still keeps throwing me EFC20 Fatal Error.

It's real, for sure. Just that some people are unable to download it via Live. They'll have to do a manual installation after the patch is uploaded on R*'s site.

I wish Rockstar could hurry the f*ck up then. I'm sick of waiting. It should be up at the same time as the GFWL download.

So, this disables trainers until someone finds a way around it?
That really sucks, I'm not going to try this until there's trainer support and a direct download (I use xliveless)

Holy sh*t! R* you have made me very happy with this patch...with my usual gameplay settings with only few changes (water/reflections on medium, filters on high instead of hightest draw and detail on 60 etc.) I got 28 fps wow.gif

I'm extremely satisfied with this here patch R*!
