LCS has no major betrayals other than Vincenzo who hated you all along. Anyways, I think it should belong in the NeXt section but either way I voted for SA when Ryder betrayed me, put me off the game for some reason because I liked his character so much.

And in VCS the most disappointing betrayal was the Mendez brothers.

But if you mean someone who annoyed you after having betrayed the main character, then I'd say it's definitely between Martinez or Dmitri (IV).

Moving to GTA:NeXt.

I'd have to go with Salvatore in GTA III. After that the Leones are always shooting at you, and with shotguns it makes doing anything in or around their turf almost impossible without some serious death wish. Basically, anything you want to do in Portland you really need to do before you move on to Staunton.

I hated betraying Salvatore. Portland was useless after you killed him.

I hated it when the Leone family mafia betrayed you, mainly cause it made missions their practically impossible.

My annoying betrayal is in SA. CJ own homies during childhood killed his own mom and team with ballas just for the drugs and money.

Yep, same with me. It was a pretty surprising betrayal.

Either Smoke and Ryder in SA or Dimitri in IV. I didn't expect any of them to turn on me. Salvatore's betray came as a chock too. It was pretty obvious that Martinez and Vincenzo would betray you.

It's either between Ryder and Big Smoke in San Andreas or Dimitri Rascalov in GTA IV. Pretty much San Andreas for me because I always hated Dimitri from the start and he looked a bit like he would betray you.

Lance Vance in Vice City. pissed me off. I thought the other betrayals were done tastefully (except VCS; I didn't like VCS as a whole though so that betrayal didn't faze me) but the one in Vice City was just downright annoying.

Lance. If he never betrayed Tommy he would have been the best character of all time. He got what he deserved cool.gif

Also Ryder , as he was a great character.

Dimitri Rascalov. GTA 4 is stupid enough. Well I said that because of Dimitri himself told Niko to kill Mikhail, then he betrayed Niko because of Niko killed Mikhail. Nonsense...

Also Playboy "stoopid" X. He doesn't want to talk to Niko after Niko killed Dwayne. Fool.

No, GTA IV is a good game IMO. Dimitri had a some issues with his peronality, because he betrayed veryone who helped him in the game. I believe he killed or made someone kill Bulgarin too... mercie_blink.gif

I have to say Sal. First off I liked his character a lot. Second I like the mob missions the most. And third after I killed him I didn't know that the mob was carrying shotguns so I drove thourgh Little Italy with a moving van and died in 4 seconds. cryani.gif So to get back at them I got an uzi got in my bullet proof Patriot ( HUMVEE! lol.gif ) and showed them to respect me.

I hated having to kill Lance Vance, I always thought he was a great character before he took sides with Sonny, it was a real kick in the shins, I was expecting to take over the world with lance, what a c*nt.

There isn't an Little Italy in GTA III. mercie_blink.gif

Lance Vance has to take the cake for me. I really like Lance's character and it was a shame to see him turn against Tommy at the last minute. Though you can't blame him; Tommy treated him like sh*t from day one. Doesn't mean I enjoyed killing him though. sad.gif His Infernus was nice though, that was a bonus.

St. Marks is KINDA like an unofficial Little Italy (Italian businesses, residents and Mafia.)

Fort Staunton fills that slot in Liberty City Stories though... until Toni blows it up, of course. lol.gif

Yeah. St. Marks is similar to a Little Italy (and GTA III was made first) so it was originally a "Little Italy" so to speak, just by a different name.

I guess you're right. Though I did love driving through there up until you were forced to kill Salvatore.

Big Smoke

He was one of my favorites. He always had good missions, and was your best friend. Its hard to believe he was even a bad guy to this day. Even though I put a bullet through his head with the Desert Eagle. devil.gif

I feel as if the main characters' betrayals are what keep the game interesting. I hate when they have unknown characters that you've just meet turn on you. I feel as if those small characters are the annoying betrayals.
